When we get back to the barn, his dad is waiting on him and he doesn't look happy. "Where the hell have you two been...you know the rules?"

"Dad...we just went out for a ride."

"A ride doesn't take over three hours."

"We were just talking alright." He gets down from Thunder and he helps me down from Lightening.

"Sophie can you please excuse us...I need to talk to Andy."

"Sure." I give Andy a look and pat the horse and walk away. I go back to the house and no one is there. So I walk out and go over to the art barn.

Of course everyone was in there. When I open the door they all look my way. "Well...you're back so soon...Mark and Anna was looking for you."

"Looking for me or Andy?"

"Actually Andy...but he knows you guys were together." Julie gives a teasing smile. "He did not look too happy about it either."

"Well nothing happened so I don't know why he is worried."

"Yeah....alright if you say so."

"Nothing happened." I huff and go outside.

I can hear them arguing...but I can't make out all the words as they walk into the main house. So I go back to my room and lie down on the bed and take a nap.

 Andy's POV:

"You know the rules...you are not allowed to see any of the tenants...or the help."

"I'm not." I guide the horses into the stable and come back out to shut the gate.

"Andy, don't lie about this. Jose saw you guys. What are you doing?"

"Jose...really where did he see us?"

"Down by the pond...you were on a blanket. Kissing her; is that all that happened. If you get that girl pregnant..."

I stop him in his tracks. "Dad...we didn't do anything and I don't plan on getting her pregnant...even if I did it's my concern not yours."

"It is my concern...she is living in our care. What do you think her mother will say?"

"She is an adult and can make her own decisions." I start to walk off towards the house.

"Andy...dammit..get back here I am not done talking about this."

"Dad we are two grown adults...yes we have feeling for each other and there's nothing you can do about it."

"Really."

 He follows me in the house and my mom is in the kitchen. "What is going on?"

"Your son here apparently has feelings for Sophie." My dad slams his fist on the table.

"Mark...calm down...you knew he liked her to begin with that is why she is here."

"Not that way Anna...not that way...they have been leaving everyday...going riding and then making out."

"No...it's not like that...you guys need to chill besides we are two grown adults." I pace back and forth.

"Honey...you said you guys were just close friends. You said you wanted to help her out." My mom looks at me, my dad and then back at me.

"I am helping her out...I can't help that I fell in love with her."

"Will you tell your stubborn ass son that he can't date her? It's against the rules...and..."

"Dad...I love her."

"Then she will have to find somewhere else to live."

This really pisses me off. I slam my hand down by his and glare at him. "If she leaves...I leave with her."

"Now you two calm down...just stop...stop it this instant." My mom comes between us. "So we have a situation. Sophie needs our help. Mark...Andy can't help who he falls in love with...hell I'm shocked just as much as you are but at least he is happy and we should be happy for him."

"It's not right Anna...we make rules for a reason."

"I know we do but she has come into his life he has changed even more...Mark...he is so happy."

My dad looks over at me and of course I am not happy at the moment but when I am with her she just lights up my world. "Fine you can see her but if you are going to be doing extra things with her get a damn room...I don't need everyone walking up on the two of you and stay out of her room...that house is for the tenants not you."

"I just make sure she takes her meds every night and I leave...I swear it's nothing more."

"Andy...just promise me to use protection she is no state of being a parent right now."

"I know...and she knows that as well...I promise I'm not going to mess up."

"You better not...that is all I saying." He walks out of the room.

My mom looks back at me. "So ya'll have gotten that close uh....your daddy is not happy about this you know."

"Mom...please."

"Andy, I love you son. I want the best for you and if that girl makes you that happy then alright then but you treat her well you understand. You be there for her when she needs someone you got that."

"Yes my ma'am."

"So you really love this girl?"

"Yes ma'am....more than anything in this world."

"Well alrighty then..." She reaches over and pecks me on the cheek.

I leave to go find Sophie. She is not with the rest of the group so I go over to the house. I knock on her door and no one answers. I open the door and she is laying on the bed sound asleep. So I sit on the edge of the bed and watch her sleep.

A few hours go by and I feel someone nudging me. "Andy...Andy...wake up."

I open my eyes to see her big beautiful eyes looking back at me. "You fell asleep...what are you doing here?"

"I needed to see you."

"Oh... So are your parents wanting me to leave now?"

"What..." I rise up and pull her close to me. "No...I told them about us and they are fine with it."

"Andy...seriously...you know they are not. Maybe all of this was a bad idea. I should go." She stands up and I have to think fast so I grab her wrist so that she has to stop. She turns back to look and me with traces of tears in her eyes.

"Hey...there...none of that. You are not going anywhere."

"Your dad was really upset, Andy."

"He was...ok he might still be a little but they are alright with it, I promise."

"Andy, what is this?" She takes her hands and gestures to me and then back to her.

"This is us...and well...frankly...will you be my girlfriend?"

"Andy I don't think you realize what you are getting yourself into."

"I know damn well what I am doing. I want you and that is all there is to it."

 I reach over and grab her softly by the nap of her neck and pull her into me. God her lips are so soft and I feel her melt with me.
