Connor and Travis stood outside of the brand new (okay not THAT new but new enough) Stark Enterprises building. They'd managed -with help from their mom who was a brilliant hacker- (probably why Hermes fell for her) to get in the first tour of the facilities on the lower level. Sadly Tony Stark (as promised in the flyer) would not be able to give them the tour in person as something had come up. Connor and Travis knew that said something was probably Percy. Annabeth and Grover were joining them, Annabeth had already memorized the lay out of the building and Grover would hopefully be able to sniff Percy out while the twins provided distractions to make sure no one noticed (or cared) that two of the group had suddenly gone missing.

They were all dressed elegantly even though it was only the afternoon. Connor and Travis were both eyed by the security guard as they grinned and whispered before the tour started. The security guard casually mentioned that they were a former army officer, probably to say subtly 'don't try me'. Grover kept chewing on his lip and Annabeth seemed to radiate 'Don't touch me, don't talk to me, don't look at me unless you want to be stabbed.' She probably would because her bone dagger was strapped to the inside of her forearm. To mortals it probably looked like part of the dress she was wearing, her old prom dress.

The dress still fit her, and this would be the first time she actually wore it because of the whole Percy-Hera-Memory-Kidnapping fiasco, so it looked brand new.  Grover was wearing Malcom's suit taken up in almost every place except for the legs which they left bagged to hid his goat legs. Connor and Travis were wearing random suits with bow ties that Drew found in the Aphrodite cabin, a bit dusty, but with some perfume from Katie they worked.

The plan it's self was simple, get in and wait till Grover smelt Percy. Then cause a distraction so Annabeth and Grover could slip away and rescue him. A simple plan that was taking a long time.

Grover had yet to smell Percy, and was questioning if Percy was even here. Of course he couldn't even try to sense his location till he woke up. He periodically nudged Percy, but there was still no response and Annabeth was growing impatient. If he wasn't here, she wanted to move on to the next most plausible location on their list. But Connor and Travis refused to leave without causing some sort of prank. Which was what Annabeth was trying to talk them out of right now as Grover asked questions about the design.Honestly he could care less, but he knew it was the only thing keeping Annabeth from snapping.

Then-he smelt something.

But it wasn't Percy, it was a different presence, like a minor god, or major one hiding their power poorly. Still, it was something and he quickly alerted Annabeth. Annabeth swore some choice words in Greek that Grover didn't approve off and neither did the security guard who made sure to tell her. How the security guard knew Greek they didn't bother to ask, looking back probably not the best idea.

Connor was getting tired of waiting, so with a nudge to his brother they both snuck  away while Grover and Annabeth were talking about Grover sensing someone. Connor figured that there was no reason for a god to be there unless Percy was there doing something stupid so he figured the distraction should come now. Hopefully Annabeth and Grover would take advantage of the distraction, becuase he couldn't even get Annabeth to shut up for one moment so he could signal that they we're going to do it. The distraction that is.

Originally the plan was for one of them to dramatically pass out on the floor in pain and start faking a seizure, but they just passed the medical facility so that would be short lived. So Connor went for the classic.
