Somethings.... Fishy

Fury's facial expression was calm. It was always neutral and coming upon a large box full of hundreads of small dusty, yellowed files, didn't change that. After S.H.E.I.L.D dumped all of their internet files online, Fury had noticed that there were a few files that were not online that he knew should be. Such as his father's, father's, file. He knew that his grandfather was a secretive man, he only ever knew of one of his grandfather's parents. But to not find his file, which Fury knew should have been there, was unnerving and Fury checked into it. When he found the large box full of hundreads of tiny files with the bare minimum of information he was confused.

"Why weren't these files put online Agent Hill?" His voice was even and calm. "I don't know sir, I never even noticed the box before." She blinked as if trying to focus on the box. Fury noted this and motioned her closer. "Look, these files are old and the newest ones have barely any information." Fury said pulling out one that was slightly thicker than the others. Updated recently he guessed.

"Why haven't we sent anyone out to watch him? Why were the files pushed to the back?" Hill asked as Fury shut the file and motioned for Hill to follow him.

"The more important question, is who has been updating them. Call Stark I want him to take a look at this. It seems fishy."

"On it sir. Meeting room?" Hill questioned as she dialed Stark. "Yes, you know what, tell him to bring his whole group. Might as well freak his whole team out If he's going to find out I'm alive" Fury said. Hill let out a small smile and Stark picked up.

"Hello Pepper"

"Sorry Stark, just agent Hill, I had FRIDAY put my name in your phone as Pepper." Hill's voice broke through Tony's thoughts.

"Really, did you think I wouldn't answer if I saw your name?" he glanced at the screen showing him what Peter was currently doing at the moment. "Would you?" "Meh, probably not, what does the lovely government want now?" Tony skimmed the internet to see if anything major had happened that he hadn't noticed yet as Peter flipped off a building and shot a web at a building. "Get your team together and be in the meeting room by four. I've cleared your other meetings." Yay! At least he wouldn't have to go to that party at five, parties are nice, but this one was for some random person he didn't know. So he'd have to read their file before going and he had a head ache and didn't want to read anything.

"What it's about?" Tony asked getting ready to google whatever it was.

"You'll see. Don't be late." Lovely.

"Wait! Do I have to call in all of my team?" Peter looked like he was having fun, and he had a test to study for.

"Yes Stark, all of your team. Including Spider Man." There was a pause. "How old is that guy anyway? Late teens?" Stark nervously rubbed the back of his neck. Only a few people knew just how young the kid was. In fact Tony had only brought Peter in because he knew Steve would never hurt a kid. Tony also had hacked every file about Spiderman and made sure there was no way they could trace it back to Peter. The American government had no idea who Spiderman was, and Tony wanted to keep it that way unless Peter wanted to tell everyone. And judging by his last reaction, it would be a few years.

"That." Tony started "is a secret." "Whatever, just make sure everyone is there okay? Congrats on the engagement" She added before hanging up. Tony smiled glancing at his ring, Pepper was amazing. They hadn't figured out when they were going to have the wedding, but they figured it would be within a year.

"Hey Peter, how's Spidey business?" Tony asked watching as Peter narrowly missed slamming into a wall.

"Oh Hi Mr. Stark, pretty good. I stopped a guy from robbing a store." Peter said proudly. "Good job! Hey we have a meeting and you get to meet up with the rest of the team again. Happy's going to pick you up, so be back at your house in ten minutes" "Got it!" Peter said and Tony hung up and Peter actually did slam into a wall. Tony sighed; that kid was going to be the death of him.

At 4:01 everyone but Tony and Peter were sitting down in the meeting room. Fury was waiting in another room for everyone to arrive so he could freak them out. Tony walked in with Peter who was slightly late as New York was a bit far from his new base. And Tony always had to be the last person to walk in.

"So, why are we here?" Rodey asked. "I actually have" The door opened and Tony was cut off. Simultaneously everyone's jaws dropped open. Except for Vision because he didn't really display surprise and Peter was just confused. He had never met Fury so he didn't really know why everyone was freaking out. But when Tony blurted out 'You're supposed to be dead' Peter figured out that this was Nicolas Fury. (The eye patch helped.)

"But I am not, now it has come to my attention, besides the random squabbles, that when Romenoff released all of the files onto the internet that some files were not released. These files were not even in the electronic files, only in the paper ones. They are being frequently updated by persons unknown." Through his small speech Fury had been passing out a copy of Perseus Jackson's file to them all. "There are over a hundred files just like this one, there are three things that every one of these files has in common." Tony's eyes widened at the sheer amount of felonies this kid had been accused off.

"First. Every single one only has one parent listed, the other is unknown."

Rodey's eyebrow raised "What's so strange about that? Lots of people go sleep around bars and have kids with people they don't know" He reminded the group.

"While that is true, sometimes it is the mother that is unknown. As in, the mother stayed with the father for nine months then vanished. Leaving nothing behind, sometimes they wouldn't even remember their name." This quieted them.

"Second, most of them are dead. The cause is always unknown, or some 'accident'. Every single one has been kicked out of schools for causing trouble. Also most die before they reach their mid-teens. I want you to bring Perseus in and debrief him. Figure out where he vanishes to each summer and after school when he doesn't go to his mom's house. Anything and everything about this kid I want to know. Preferably within 24 hours. At most 36. Dismissed." Fury turned and left leaving a silent group.

"That high-school is only a few blocks away from my school." Peter said causing everyone to glance at him. He continued on nervously "If we could figure out how he gets to wherever he's heading we could rig it so we could knock him out or something. Then bring him here to ask some questions." "Good ide-" Tony started but FRIDAY interrupted. "Perseus Jackson catches a cab with the female Annabeth Chase around five thirty at the Blue-batik on Plank Avenue." "Thanks Friday, but don't interrupt me. I'll rig a cap with some knock out gas, it will be easy to replace the glass with holes with one without holes. I'll put a double lock on and that should do it." Tony said.

"But in case that goes wrong," Rodey started "How could it go wrong? It's simple!" "Just in case, I didn't say it would." Rodey defended then continued "We should have Parker watching from the outside. Swinging along, making sure everything goes smoothly." "I can do that, I'm free all tomorrow, Stark Internship." Peter said. "Okay, but be careful, he has committed a lot of crimes, and even shot someone. Given it was a supposed kidnapper but there's a lot of stuff that doesn't  measure up. Plus, my gas can knock out a dozen elephant stuff in a minute. How long could a teenager last?
