Rose's POV

My mother stopped the car outside of our new home in Mount Vermont, Ohio. I stepped out, grabbing my suitcase from the trunk of the car. My mother grabbed hers as well. She already came up here and had all our stuff moved in, and we were staying at a hotel. "Isn't it nice, honey? We can have so much fun here! You can make all new friends and..."

I cut her off. "I was perfectly fine with my old friends back in Oklahoma!" I yelled, running up the stairs and into the house. I ran into my room, and flopped on my bed. I snuggled into my blankets, the one familier thing in the whole house. I laid on my bed for a while, or at least until my mother came in and sat on the bed next to me.

"On the bright side, we're in a neighborhood, so you won't be bored here at home." she whispered, giving me a half-hug.

"I'm going to see what the neighbors look like." I sighed, getting off my bed, my mother a little surprised. I walked out of my room, and I grabbed my purple VenturianTale hoodie. I zipped it up. I walked outside and to the nearest house. I knocked on the door, and laughed when I realized what I was doing. "Oh well, they can deal." I laughed to myself. The door opened and the man in the doorway laughed at me.

"Greetings, fellow adventurer! Nice jacket!" he laughed. I laughed as well. "Come on in." I walked inside and sat on the couch, where a boy sat watching Doctor Who. "Isaac. Isaac! ISAAC!!"

"What Jordan?! Oh, there's a person." Isaac laughed as he saw me. I waved.

"So...Homeless, where's Immortal and Bethany?" I asked, screwing with their minds. "Or do I have to shout for them myself?"

"Bethany! Cierra! There's someone here that knows who we are!" Isaac shouted up the stairs, and Jordan laughed. "She wants to meet you guys!"

"Hey! I never said that, troll!" I joked back. Cierra and Bethany came down laughing. Cierra was wearing a Sally Waffles shirt and Bethany was wearing a Billy Acachalla shirt. "I shall sic Maddie-Friend on you, Billy Acachalla!" I shouted. Isaac ran into the other room and I laughed. "Wow...I never knew new neighbors could be this much fun."

"Wait...you just moved in next to us?" Jordan asked. I nodded.

"I was pretty upset I had to leave my friends at home, but I'm actually pretty glad that you're my neighbors, not some creepy weirdo like Toilet Toucher." I replied. Jordan laughed.

"I gotta go record. Bethany, you wanna come?" he asked. Bethany nodded. I stood up and headed towards the door. "Not so fast. I need your name!" Jordan ran after me.

"Rose Tyler." I joked. "But seriously, you can call me Rose."

"Ok then, Rose. Hope to see ya around!" Isaac shouted from the other room. I laughed.

"You bet. See ya later guys." I walked out of the house and back to mine. I opened the door and shut it behind me. I walked into my room and laid on my bed. I opened my laptop and checked youtube. Turns out Jordan had posted a new video earlier before I went to their house about how they were getting a new neighbor. Then he went on with the video like normal. I checked the time to see it was 8:00 pm. "Man, time zones are tricky. It's going to be a long night." I sighed, shutting down my laptop and setting it on the floor. I set my VenturianTale backpack by the door and turned off the light after saying goodnight to my mother. I curled up under my covers and went to sleep.
