hey guys this is the second chapter as promised! Me and about 12 of my friends are going to the park and going to a more secluded area called the falls! but that's on Sunday so I barely have time to write this but I do it all for you guys! I still apologize for my unannounced hiatus period.

Mystery POV : { even though you guys will most likely guess off the bat }

I sat there on my throne. bored as always, checking the soul count, contracts, future deaths, witch count and the usual, demon behavior. that's when I heard the bickering behind the door of my throne room. " I can't let you in right now, he asked no one to bother him " said Philip. he was a warlock who sold his soul, I was very impressed with his skill while he was alive so I made him a guard of mine.

he liked messing with people which was good, it kept me entertained. he usually did the same thing to everyone, from low level demons to my own sons. most demons leave after being told that I didn't want to see anyone, except my sons. the doors suddenly burst open, my son Azazel bursting through. he is the demon king of spirits. he is one of my most successful in creating Chaos.

the more chaos and demons going to Assiah, the more unstable the barrier becomes and that allows me to pass through. Astarath succeeded last time so I could see my son Rin, and that stupid father-in-law the second time for me to meet my other son Yukio.

Azazel skidded to a stop in front of me and I huffed. Is he gonna throw another tantrum again about his 2 brothers in Assiah? I would've let him go but Samuel refused to look after him and I couldn't have him being reckless when I wasn't ready to go to Assiah again. it takes a lot of energy.

" Dad! " he yelled getting my attention. " I'm sorry your majesty. I couldn't stop him " Philip said bowing. " its fine Philip, watch the door " I sighed turning my attention to my son. " this better be important, there is a shooting in America in an hour and I have to have to have those 30 souls ready and divided and I have no idea where to put them " I said running my hand through my long white hair.

" screw the souls! there is a ketya in Assiah! " he yelled. this made me pay attention. those shits are back?! haven't they done enough! first my people, then my wife! I THOUGHT I GAVE ORDERS TO STAY AWAY FROM ANGELS! " WHAT! " I yelled my roar shaking the walls of the throne room.

" ARE YOU SURE AZAZEL? I SWEAR IF THIS IS A PLOY TO GO TO ASSIAH I WILL HAVE YOU KILLED! THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM! " I growled, he knows I'll don it too. " I KNOW THIS IS SERIOUS! I'VE EVEN SENT A SHADOW DEMON TO ASSIAH TO MAKE SURE! AND ANOTHER TO WATCH! SHE TORE MY MINION TO SHREDS! SHE DISCOVERED HOW TO TURN BACK TOO! I CAN NO LONGER ALLOW HER TO ROAM AROUND ASSIAH " he said growling.

" I WILL SEND MY OWN MINION TO WATCH " I yelled, slowly calming down. " If necessary I will dispose of it myself " I said calming down completely. " good, I want it dead. oh and father, better hurry. she is getting awfully cozy with Amaimon " Azazel said leaving the room.

I can't believe it. Amaimon getting cozy with the abomination. He's either stupid or smarter then I thought. but only time will tell. " Phillip " I called. " yes your majesty " he said poofing into the room. " I need you to do something for me " I said smiling.

Korosu's POV :

I dragged my bag out of the train and turned to Yukio. " why are we on this mission again? " I asked as I felt something brush my hand. I looked down and saw it was Amaimon. did he do that on purpose? I looked at him and I saw a blush crawl up his face as he looked away. I giggled and intertwined our fingers.

" we are here because there are random accounts of human combustion. usually that is a sign that Satan is taking vessels. but young purebloods have been know to do that to their victims so that no traces are found. but that was back then before purebloods learned to be in covens and feed on regular vampires. so we are dealing with a rouge pureblood. worst case scenario, Satan. " Yukio said.

I felt Amaimon stiffen beside me. " what's wrong? " I said trying to pull him with the rest of the group. " promise me something " he asked kissing my head. " what? " I asked. " If it is him. if it is my father...... run. run away and don't look back. run until you reach a city and stay in heavily populated areas, until I can come and find you " he said sounding very serious.

" what? " I asked confused. " if it is him. he will kill you first. I'll hold him off as long as possible but I can't kill him, I'm not strong enough. get to a city. he can't posses normal people. only exorcist due to their strong ability and will against the supernatural. normal people would die instantly so he most likely won't be able to kill you there. I will find you " he said.

" but what about Rin and Yukio and - " I tried to talk but he interrupted. " they don't matter to me. nothing mattered after I met you. they have been exorcist for a longer time, Rin even killed me once. everyone else has mastered their powers, you haven't. its too dangerous. I can't lose you " He said hugging me. " I almost lost you once. never again " he said squeezing me tighter.

" only if you promise that no one I love gets hurt " I sighed. he suddenly growled. " what? " I asked. " I don't like the idea of you loving Rin or Yukio " he said scowling. " your the only one I love like this. the only one that gets to kiss me and hold me like this " I said looking up at him.

" good " he said growling in a way that sent a delicious shiver through my body. I cleared my throat and looked back at the street. " come on, we have to go before we lose them " I said walking in the direction which the rest of the group disappeared. it was a small walk to the hotel. we arrived to a stressed Yukio. they all turned to look at us and Yukio straightened up.

" thank god, I thought you got lost. I was about to lose my mind, my first mission and I've already lost 2 students " Yukio said sighing in relief. " sorry, we had to talk in private " I said. " okay the list of roomates was made by Mephisto. he also told me to give this to you " Yukio said giving me a note.

behave and please keep my brother in check while you are there. I brought you in hopes it would keep him from causing problems and protect you when necessary. take care of him, unless he takes care of you ( if you get what I mean ). be careful, he has been holding back demon heat for a little over a year, I suspect he won't hold on for long. he is strong, but not strong enough to stop instincts older then your bloodline. he might be able to stop for mere moments but not for hours or even minutes. please wear protection, I don't want my school's reputation to be ruined by my brother.

I blushed down my neck and crumbled up the letter. " what did it say? " Kasai asked. " doesn't matter. what about the rooms? " I asked trying to change the subject. " all the boys go in one room and all the girls in another, except you and Amaimon. you guys have your own room. we will be down the hall " he said and looked and the instructions again surprised.

" so lets get unpacked, and meet in Korosu's room for information on the mission " Yukio said giving us our room keys. we got on the elevator, which got crowded quickly on the way up. the elevator stopped abruptly for a second causing me to stumble onto Amaimon. " sorry " I said blushing at how close we were. " don't apologize for getting closer " he said closing the gap between our lips.

what is that smell? it was a very earthy and flowery smell. it was alluring, beautiful, even addicting. I kissed him harder and he growled lowly and returned the force of the kiss. " what is that smell? " Okami said. It was like a trace and I backed up to smell the air. is she talking about the flower smell?

the elevator stopped on our floor and everyone got out. I looked back while everyone was trying to find their rooms and saw Amaimon was still in the elevator but in a trance-like state. " Amaimon, are you coming? " I asked. he seemed to go back to normal but his eyes seemed to flash gold for a second when he mumbled something.

" where is ours? " he asked walking up to me. " its down the hall " I said looking at the small map the lobby gave us of the floors. " then lets go " he said dragging me down the hall. we unlocked the door to the room and looked around in wonder. " brother never lets me sleep in hotels, he always makes me go home " he said smiling like a kid.

" come on. lets unpack " I said smiling at his childish behavior.

" okay so this is the plan. the pureblood isn't very clever. they only attack certain kinds of people. type o positives, wealthy, single, men. they usually attack in this radius to the woods on the outside of town " he said pointing to the map.

" all we have to do is have groups of 2 posted on these buildings and if we are lucky then she will strike tonight. she strikes ever 3 days. we sit and we wait, if you see any movement then jump down and strike. me and Okami will be here at the shortest building at 3 stories high. Rin and Kasai you will be posted here at 5 stories high. Korosu and Amaimon will be posted here at 11 stories high. Caster and Grimora, I'm going to trust you to be back up and our medic in case I get hurt and can't do it. we can do this. here are your buttons. push them when you spot movement and all of us will be over there as soon as we can. this is a pureblood, holy water will work but scriptures won't. kill it. that was the order. we set out at 9:00. we meet in the lobby " Yukio said getting up and putting the map away.

we meet in the lobby about an hour ago. we have been standing at our posts for a while. " this is boring. I was hoping to kill something today " Amaimon whined. I chuckled at his behavior. " I know its boring but not everything can be fighting and killing things " I laughed and looked back though my binoculars.

" I know what we could do to pass the time " Amaimon whispered to me, I didn't even feel him sneak up behind me. " now what would you suggest? " I asked turning to look at him. he tipped my head up to meet his lips. we started kissing, a passion the world will never see.

that's when the smell started up again. the flower one, so alluring. he bit my lip, enticing a squeak out of me. his tongue snuck into my mouth and we did a battle of dominance. he growled becoming more aggressive, winning him the battle. a small moan escaped my mouth causing him to pull me towards him. pushing our bodies impossibly closer.

suddenly a short loud beep was emitted. causing us to separate. the button! they spotted the pureblood. " Amaimon, lets go " I yelled grabbing my gun, putting the mag in. " alright, come on " Amaimon said as I jumped on his side and he held me close.

" don't let go " he warned. " never will " I said nuzzling into his neck. he took a running start and jumped off the building. is this what flying feels like? I thought to myself as we freefell off the 11 story building.

we got dangerously close to the ground when I started to panic a little. suddenly a tree grew from the ground out of no where. Amaimon landed on it and the branch grew as Amaimon ran on it and another tree grew and he continued to run on the branches. I turned around and saw the trees were disappearing one by one. how powerful. to be able to grow trees from nothing and them have them disappear after like the ground was untouched. all at the same time. is this the power of a demon king?

we got to the site and the cloaked pureblood had a hood on. Okami had a gun pointed at it while Kasai kept a circle of fire around it to make sure it couldn't escape. " take the hood off! " Okami yelled cocking her gun back.

the pureblood took its hood off slowly. I know that Red hair and those green eyes anywhere! " AMETHYST!? " I yelled surprised. the pureblood was Amethyst, my ex-bestfriend that left me over a year ago. on my 16th birthday with nothing but a reminder of our time together, which is now at the bottom of a lake.

" who knew you would ever figure it out " she chuckled. " you left me! you left me when I needed you! when you were the only thing I had! " I yelled at her. " ever heard of pretending to like someone. give me a break. where is that locket I got you " she said pouting with fake sympathy.

" where it has been since the day you gave it to me. at the bottom of a lake " I growled at her, my Keyta perking in attention. " aww. never thought you had the guts to throw away something I gave you " she said laughing.

" great to know its all been a lie. so why were you really pretending to be my friend you crazy bitch? " I asked taking my gun out. " its not like you could understand. all of this is much bigger than you. couldn't you become a Keyta faster so I didn't have to lose my job, but you were boring me out of my mind! I get it! there are coal tars everywhere! " I said rolling her eyes.

" you made me think I was crazy because I could see them! " I yelled at her. " yeah. I think that was the best part " she said laughing. " give me one reason I should carve a cross into your head with bullets? " I said cocking my gun. " because the only thing that will die here is you " she said. in a second she was gone. the fire quickly went out with a large gust of wind.

" did you really think it would be that easy? " I heard her voice say. I looked around but I couldn't find her. I heard a gun shot go off and saw Okami fly a few feet in the air before crashing down onto the earth. Yukio growled and ran over to her. " oohhh! little half demon wants to bite? I can bite too " Amethyst threatened running at Yukio was ready with his gun but nothing could've prepared me for what happened.

" Okami don't! " Rin yelled but it was too late. Amethyst bit into Okami and her scream shook me to my very core. Okami jumped in front of Yukio. MY FAMILY! MY FAMILY! SHE HURT MY FAMILY! I could feel the change in my body. I can feel my control leaving me, being replaced with the reckless monster that is my Keyta, but right now, I needed that monster.

I could see but I couldn't move. she was controlling me. I saw Okami collapse to the ground as Yukio caught her. she was breathing heavy. " pay attention " I heard Amethyst whisper close to me. I turned around but I wasn't fast enough. Amethyst sliced deep into my arm but I didn't feel it. I didn't bleed. she was going to die, whether she wanted to or not.

Amethyst Jumped back a few feet stunned that I didn't scream, that I didn't bleed. " doesn't matter. you die like everything else " she said running at me. Suddenly she stopped running. she looked scared, she looked like she was in pain. she started screaming and then I saw a vine burst threw her chest with her heart bleeding and stabbed in various places.

" whether it be a human, a pureblood, or an angel. getting stabbed in the heart will always kill you " Amaimon said walking up to Amethyst from behind. " you crushed her heart with your lies. so I'll crush yours with the truth. you hurt her that's why you are going to die " he whispered into her ear as the vine came around her heart and squeezed it until it exploded, causing blood to go everywhere.

" now that was beautiful mate " my Keyta said to Amaimon. " you know what else is beautiful? " he said winking at me. " both forms of you " he said smiling." is the demon king of earth flirting with me? " she teased.

" maybe I am " he said walking towards me. " now where did you learn that? " she, I, we, you get the point, asked. " books, that's not the only thing I learned " he growled. " get your demon heat in control king of earth, you're gonna drown me in the scent " she scolded playfully.

" I can drown you in something else " he said pulling me flush against him. " as much as I'd love too. I'm not sure Korosu is ready and lets not forget that my wolfy sister over there has vampire poison running through her " she said pointing to Okami.

GIVE ME BACK CONTROL! I WANT TO SEE IF SHE IS OKAY! PLEASE! fine she said giving me back control. I ran over to Okami. " WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU JUMP IN FRONT? " Yukio yelled at her. " BECAUSE YOU SHE WAS GONNA DODGE THE BULLET AT THE SPEED SHE WAS GOING AND YOU WOULD'VE DIED IF SHE BIT YOU! " Okami yelled back.

" BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU?! YOU'RE DYING RIGHT NOW AND I COULD'VE DONE SOMETHING! " he yelled angry but I could tell that he was gonna burst into tears. " I JUMPED IN FRONT! IT WAS MY DESCISON! I WOULD DIE FOR MY FRIENDS! " she yelled back.

" BUT I'M NOT YOUR FRIEND! " he yelled. " we talked about this! I'm not your mate anymore. you said it would be better if I disappeared, well I guess you got your wish - " she could've said more but she fell unconscious.

" that's not what I meant. I never wanted you to die. I didn't want you to be anywhere else but my side. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry " he cried as he held her close. " there could still be time she can be saved, right Grimora? " Caster said suddenly appearing behind us. " yeah, lets hope she is strong " Grimora said as Caster picked Okami up and disappeared.

" everyone ready? " Grimora asked. " yeah " we all said in unison. suddenly we were in the girl's hotel room. " common medicine won't help. her pulse is weak but still beating. but her body isn't in a comatose state. I don't understand what is going on. I've never seen anything like it " Caster said worried.

" will she live? can she heal? " Yukio asked desperately. " only time will tell " Caster said. we all flowed out of the room to give Yukio some alone time. its his mate after all.

Yukio's POV :

why? why her God? why not me? I could've done something couldn't I? why now? I looked at her laying there in her bed. almost like she was sleeping. she looked pale but that would happen when your heart isn't beating as fast as it should. it hurts. it hurts to think that any minute her heart could continue to slow. it could stop and she would be gone.

but she isn't gone yet. I can feel her. I can feel the bond, even if its weak. I walked over to her and grabbed her hand. its been a long time since I felt those sparks. I brought her hand up to my lips and planted a kiss on the back of her hand. maybe she can hear me. maybe I can tell her what I've always wanted to. tell her the things she never let me say.

" I never meant it to turn out like this. I-I never wanted it to end this way. back then, when I said that, I was only thinking of myself. I thought that if I started dating a werewolf the whole exorcist community would look down on me. I worried I would lose my position as Paladin. I was selfish. I didn't think about how you would feel. I didn't think you would hear me. I should've known better, I should've have said that. you're my mate, I should've put you first. you should have always been put first and I was too stupid to see that. and now, I'll never have the chance to do that. to start over with you. not as your friend, like the mate I should've been. you tried so hard to make it work and I threw you aside, and all for my position, its not worth it. none of it is. when I saw that, I tried so hard. I tried so hard to apologize but you didn't forgive me. I didn't deserve your forgiveness. I tried so hard to be your friend but I couldn't. " SHUT UP! IF YOU LOVE ME SO MUCH THEN KISS ME AND STOP RAMBLING! " I was suddenly spun around and my face was dragged down to meet the lips of my mate. my thoughts were going a mile a minute. so many thoughts filled y head, but I threw them all away and started kissing her back.

I missed this. the feeling of her lips on my. our lips fit perfectly. molding together with our heat. " OKAMI, WHAT IS THAT? " I heard Kasai scream in alarm. I opened my eyes and realized Okami had large wings sticking out of her back. " I don't know but I like them! " she said chuckling nervously.

" Caster, what's going on? " Grimora asked. " I'm not sure yet. Okami please lay down so I can give an analysis " Caster said. she sat down and Caster took her pulse, he looked every confused. he took out a thermometer and took her temperature. he still looked confused, well until his face lit up.

" OOHHH! THIS IS GOOD! GIVE ME A SECOND! " he said grabbing Grimora. " get the lab ready " he said excited. " yes sir " Grimora said with a playful salute and in a second she was gone. " Okami I'm gonna need a blood sample. sorry Yukio. by instinct you will want to attack me. Amaimon please restrain Yukio for a second. also you will feel the need to lick her wounds. don't do that, you'll either burn your tongue or die. somewhere in that range. Now your majesty, I know you don't like taking orders but I please ask you restrain him so I can draw blood " Caster said at a very fast pace. I felt Amaimon's hands go around me to hold me back and that's when Caster took out a needle.

I felt myself growl. he's gonna hurt our mate. kill the mage. kill the mage. I heard a voice say. my body reacted on its own and went to lunge for Caster but Amaimon was holding me still. I saw Caster insert the needle and my body went into over drive. kill the mage! kill the mage! pesky demon! let go! he yelled.

I felt like I should've burst into flames at that moment but I didn't. what's going on?! where are my flames?! damn fire tamer! the voice just kept screaming. I tried to look over at Kasai but I couldn't. its like I wasn't in control of my body. Caster took the syringe out of Okami's arm and said " thanks. keep this on it and don't lit him lick it " he gave her a small towel and he was gone.

Amaimon let go of me and I fell to my knees. " my mate is so beautiful. who knew the daughter of an angel could look so gorgeous " the voice said looking at Okami. " that's not Yukio is it? " Okami asked Amaimon blushing. " no, he's a half demon. half demons are like werewolves in the sense that they can also take control. usually in instinctual situations. that's Yukio's demon side, the eyes my be different, they are the windows to the soul " Amaimon said. my demon? so the voice is my demon?

" oh hi " Okami said with a nervous chuckled and waved. " don't worry, I don't bite. unless you want me to " he said growling playfully. okay, you better stop. " now calm down. we won't be doing that anytime soon " Okami said playfully. Is she flirting with me?

" don't play with fire, little wolf, you might get burned " he said as a little blue flame lit on his finger. " maybe I like the burn. but this is the beginning and I'm not ready to get burned just yet " she said smiling at him.

" I promise this won't be the last time you see me " he said winking at her. " I'm counting on it " she winked back as I seemed to regain control of my body again. " DAMN YUKIO! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD FLIRT " Kasai yelled as Rin burst out laughing. Korosu chuckled at kasai's outburst but Amaimon remained unfazed.

" THIS IS AMAZING!!! " Caster said popping out if nowhere with Grimora. " OKAMI THIS IS THE BEST SCIENTIFIC BREAKTHREW YET! IN THE HISTORY OF THE SUERNATURAL WORLD! " Caster yelled. " Caster, slow down. what's going on? " Korosu asked, just as confused as the rest of us.

" I've made a scientific breakthrough. Okami congratulations on being the first turned werewolf and pureblood hybrid " Caster said trying to hide his excitement. " but vampires and werewolf blood can't coexist in a body! the cells destroy each other! " Okami argued.

" not if you have angel blood.
