hey guys. a lot has happened. my life is a mess. sorry

recap of the mess that is my life : my boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me. I suffered depression from it. I cried during 6th, 7th period, random parts in the day, and every night. my friend helped me out and we started dating. It was good then bad then good then bad. It was a mess and the depression was getting worse. Then he cheated and we broke up. We dated for 4 months. I had no closure so I decided a talk was necessary. We talked a bit, I punched him in the face, we talked a bit more, he had a panic attack, and we talked one last time and came to the conclusion that we weren't meant to date and should've stayed friends so we were friends. he was very toxic and so I cut him out f my life. I'll tell you about my current love life at the end of the chapter

I've bored you enough. now to the book.

I wish the moment was frozen in time. I wish nothing could ruin it but reality came crashing down faster than I would've liked. We separated from the kiss and with it went our isolation from the rest of the world. The first thing I heard was screaming.

" I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU LIED- WE DIDN'T LIE! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT! - IS THIS WHY THERE WAS ALWAYS ONE MORE PLATE AND WHY ALL THE CANDY IN MY BASKET WAS GONE! - OF COURSE YOU WOULD ASK ABOUT FOOD!- IS THAT WHY YOU WERE HERE ALL THE TIME! - LIKE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CAN'T DO! "

I had enough of their yelling. They are supposed to be mates, we are all family. " hey Amaimon, can you unravel the rowan please? I need to stop them " I said walking up to the door.

" they always ruin everything. Any way I can keep you to myself for a bit longer? " he asked coming up behind me. " after this. We have the rest of my life for me and you. Is that long enough mate? " I said smiling as I turned to look at him.

" anytime you give me your attention is a blessing my mate. Sadly forever will never be long enough to keep you with me. No amount of time will ever be " he said towering over me giving me a peck but staying centimeters away from my face.

" then I will do my best to make the most of it " I whispered. " me too " he said his eyes flickering to my lips and then the door. He stood up and unraveled the rowan from the door.

" IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED ME TO WAKE UP TO! I CAME BACK DOWN HERE FOR THIS! SHIT, I SHOULD'VE JUST STAYED UP THERE! " I said while I gave each of the guys I punch to the head and the girls a punch on the arm, except Grimora who was trying to get everyone to stop.

" Ow! Korosu! Wait Korosu?! " yelled Caster when he realized it was me. " Korosu!" They all yelled and ran at me engulfing me in a hug.

" why are you guys in the dorm? " I asked sitting down. After the reunion we all decided to come down stairs and get some food into my system.

" I have to watch over Rin and as your personal doctor, I had to be here if you were to flat line like you did today " he said from his seat on the stairs. " I DON'T NEED A BABY SITTER! " Rin yelled from the kitchen where he was making food.

" do we have to remind you of the forest trip? " Yukio said giving him the ' seriously ' face. " that wasn't all my fault, he's the one that wanted me to fight him " he said pointing at Amaimon from the kitchen. Amaimon just stuck him tongue out at him.

" what forest trip? " I said. " ask your mate " Run yelled from the kitchen. " I'll tell you later, when we are alone " he said glaring at Yukio for bringing the incident up.

" what happened? You should've survived the flat line " Yukio said. Okami hit Yukio on the head on the way down because she decided to get dressed in her pj's and then come down stairs.

" not like that! I'm just interested as a doctor " he said in his defence. Okami hit him again and sat down next to him. " and as a friend. Damn werewolf strength " he said holding his head.

" I was in a black space. Then there was a light and I saw my mom. An angel. And she told me I had a choice. My keyta was also there - " I couldn't finish because Yukio interupted " you can see your keyta? " he asked while scribbling something down in the book I didn't even know he had.

" yeah. Sometimes when I sleep she shows up. Keytas are a reflection of the angel that was passed down. She is like a younger version of my mom. But my mother didn't fall because of her evil so my keyta isn't overly evil she just doesn't like demons, except Amaimon " I said. " interesting, this is great! We can get more information on the keyta species " Yukio said writing.

" anyway, she showed up too. I could go with my mom but I would have to give up my connection with Amaimon and I can't reincarnate. Or I could come back down here, keep my connection with Amaimon, and.......... the abilities that my Keyta has in human form. Super strength, fast healing, good eye sight and hearing and...... and immortality " I said putting my head down.

" WHAT!?!? "everyone said at the same time. " you're gonna live forever? " Okami asked. " yeah " I whispered. " why aren't you celebrating!? " Caster asked excited unlike me. " because I'm going to watch all of you die! Bon, Izumi, Shemi, Shima, everyone! They are all gonna die even you guys! " I said trying to keep the tears in.

" I'm immortal darling " Kasai said sitting next to me. " but what about them! " I yelled pointing at everyone else. " demons are immortals " Grimora said. " but werewolves aren't " Okami whispered. " Mages aren't either " Caster said frowning looking at Grimora.

" but by law, all demon mates become immortal by marking " Grimora said grabbing Caster's hand. " but I'm not mating a demon! " Okami said exasperated.

A growl ripped out of Yukio's mouth and we all stared in shock. Yukio's never growled, that was a demon growl. Everyone stood deathly still. " I - I'm gonna go to bed " Yukio said trying to get over his shock.

" it's gonna be okay Korosu. We will cross that road when we get there. But for now, you're immortal sweetheart! I know it's hard but look at what you have here, you have a whole family that is gonna stay with you to the end " Kasai said hugging me.

" food's ready! " Rin said putting a plate down in front of me. " thanks Rin " I said digging in. I bit into my food and stopped when I tasted metal.

I stopped chewing and pulled the metal out from my mouth. Where did this come from? I went to take another bite from my food but there was nothing there. I looked to find the fork I had been using didn't have any ends. I quickly looked at the metal that I took out of my mouth and realized I had bitten through the fork.

I looked at everyone in de-stress at the fact that I couldn't eat my food and they all laughed at the situation, even Amaimon was laughing on the inside.

" don't worry, I'll help you learn to control it. I'll also teach you to fight. We'll have fun together " Amaimon said grabbing my hand and smirking playfully to show he was laughing on the inside.

" so what are we gonna do for her birthday tomorrow? " Okami said calming down from her laughter. " probably have a small party in the dorm. Cake, little bit of Karoke, invite the cram class " Caster said casually but like he had it planned.

" and Amaimon " I said casually hoping that no one would really notice. " WHAT!? NO! " Rin yelled because, sadly he heard me.

" why not!? " I complained. " the last time the cram school saw him it did not go well. Let's just say, they don't really like him " Rin said. " look Rin, Amaimon is not going to kill anyone- " unless that pink haired guy tries anything "- it's going to be fine. He'll behave - " unless the bubblegum princess tries something " - it's not a problem. I'll talk to them. Just get them here. I want to spend it with all of them- " me mostly and not the pink haired guy " I said with Amaimon interupting about Shima.

" I still don't think it's a good idea " he said rubbing the back of his neck. " please! " I said begging. " okay " he said in defeat. " yes! " I said fist pumping the air.

" time to sleep guys, it's past curfew! " Yukio said from somewhere in the dorm. " leave it up to Yukio to still be a teacher after school " Rin groaned while walking upstairs.

As everyone walked up the stairs, me and Amaimon stayed behind. " what did they mean when they were talking about the forest trip? " I asked Amaimon, getting a new fork. " ha about that " he said glaring at the stairs.

" okay so I wanted to see how powerful Rin was so I may or may not have possessed sheimi and kept her hostage until he fought me and fought the humans as well. We fought, he lost control and burned down half the forest which I reconstructed " he said with a straight face. " so you kidnapped and possessed a girl, and beat everyone up and made Rin lose his sanity " I asked. So this is what they were talking about last time.

" yeah " he said casually. I sighed. " is this what they mean when they say what you do when your bored? " I asked taking a bite. " yeah " he said. " what if it were me? What if someone did that to me? You can't just go around doing that! " I said.

" I understand that now. I would never wish that upon you, mostly because who ever does will be dead " he said. " good then you will be apologizing to them when they get here " I said taking another bite. " what?! But they are humans, kings don't bow to humans " he said whining.

" no but good kings know when to admit their wrongs. I bet Shima would apologize " I said sneaking that last part in there. Amaimon growled " fine, but only because I'm 10 times better than that human " je said pouting. " 20 times better and I wouldn't trade you for anything " I said washing my plate.

" really? " he said as I saw his shadow tower over my whole body, completely engulfing me. " yeah " I said turning around to face him.

" so I'm really gonna have you forever? " he said sighing and hugging me like he was relived. " how old are you really? " I asked him. " 16,873 and a half " he said. " I'm so young " he chuckled.

" it's weird to think that I might live that long one day " I said nuzzling into his chest. " one day? you're going to live longer than that because I don't want you to die, not when we have forever to live " he said kissing my head

I woke up with Amaimon next to me. his hair was in his face and he looked a bit pale but a lot better than when I woke up the night before. the light streamed in through the curtains of his room. he asked me if we could sleep in his room for tonight and asked me to join him. he told me that he's been in my room the whole time and doesn't want me laying in that bed another night.

the light cut thought the dark room and aluminates the room making me realize how long he has been in my room. my room was dimly lit the whole time and Kasai told me that he never left my room. I wonder how long its been since he's seen the sun. I just stared at his face, memorizing the details, the contours and the fine lines that make him so beautiful. I wonder how long he waited. how long did he suffer because of me?

" how long are you going to stare? at least say hi, I haven't talked to you in forever too " he said cracking one eye open, his golden eyes glowing on the light of the room. I blushed realizing I was caught staring.

" I would ask for a hug but you already have your arms around me " I smiled, laughing softly trying to save myself from the embarrassment. He smiled sadly at me before tears started to brim his golden eyes." your smile is so beautiful. I thought I was strong enough to see you without crying but I'm just not " he said crying softly. it hurt to see him cry ,but in its own way it was beautiful because he was happy and those tears were proof of how much I meant to him.

" I missed you so much mate " he said holding me closer and tighter than we originally were. " Its hard to miss you when you're always there for me. I wish you didn't have to suffer so much for me " I said kissing his head. " I would suffer thousands of years in a Vatican prison cell if it meant you could live another day mate " he said kissing my shoulder.

" I love you so much " I said feeling the tears pool in my eyes and the bile in my throat. " I love you too " he said calming down. " it's your day, don't cry for me. You're supposed to be happy " he said wiping the stray tear off my cheek.

" wait. It's my birthday. How long have I been in that coma? " I said surprised at the sudden realization that it was actually my birthday. " almost a year " he said nuzzling me, yawning.

" Amaimon " I gasped waking him up. His eyes shuddered closed and reopened in their natural blue. " you waited a year for me? " I whispered staring at him. He stared for a second before pulling me into his chest and hugging me tight.

" Amaimon what are you doing? " I asked from his chest. " I..... I thought last night was a dream. That I would wake up and you would still be in that bed with the heart monitor beeping slowly and the only thing keeping me hoping was that spark " he said sobbing softly.

" I couldn't think of life without you now that you were in it. It wasn't the same. The dorm wasn't the same, my studies weren't the same, my heart wasn't the same. I thought that yesterday was some big dream and I hoped it wasn't and, for the first time, my hoping was enough " he said. " I would wait a thousand years if it meant I could wake up to you at my side everyday for the rest of my immortal life " he said softly stroking my hair.

" why would you go so far? Why would you suffer so long for me? " I asked confused why he would do that for me. Why would he suffer for me? " because I love you. And that's what love does to us. Makes us willing to suffer through the greatest pain because in the end, it will be worth it, you will always be worth it " he said tangling his legs with mine. As he held me like this was still one big dream, in fear that if he let me go. I would disappear so I held him so that he knew...... he knew that I was real and like that we slowly drifted back into sleep.

I woke up and the sun was high in the sky, it was no longer morning. I tried to sit up but Amaimon pulled me back down and nuzzled more into me. " Amaimon we have to get up " I mumbled.

" I don't wanna " he groaned. " I wanna sleep, I want to lay here with you " he said kissing my head. " b-but we have to train " I stuttered. " 5 more minutes " he mumbled. " fine " I said nuzzling his chest and slipping back into the darkness.

5 minutes turned into 2 hours. When we woke up again I had to drag him out of bed. I shoved a lollipop in his mouth while I made breakfast which should be lunch but nah. After we finished eating then we walked outside so I could start my training.

Before we could walk into the woods, Everyone showed up to get their stuff for cram school. I was surprised to see Mephisto behind them. " big brother, what are you doing here? " Amaimon asked pulling his mask up

" I heard that my student woke up. I need to come up with an education plan for her, she has been out for a year. Congratulations on your immortality Korosuakuma " he said walking up to us.

" yeah, thanks " I mumbled. My immortality being a stiff topic to talk about. " I was thinking you can take classes over the summer. It would be the best option considering that means you get to spend the summer here with Amaimon " he said looking at Amaimon.

" now Amaimon I know that means you're going to be alone with her but this is an education facility which means you need to keep your demon side in check. Wouldn't want her to be late to class because she was limping " he said and I flushed red.

" what do you mean limping, I'm not going to train her too hard? " he said and Mephisto started to laugh. " you can ask Korosu what it means later " he said as a puff of pink smoke erupted where he stood and there was a white dog in his place.

" what does he mean Korosu? " Amaimon asked tilting his head. That shitty clown!, left me to explain the birds and the bees to his little brother. " I- I'll tell you later " I said blushing.

So that was that. He dragged me into the woods and we made it to a different clearing I've never been to and we stood at the center. He suddenly left behind his confusion and mental innocence for his serious face. Guess he takes training seriously.

" Every strength comes with a weakness. It doesn't matter the strength, if the weakness is ignorance. You can lift a tree with strength but you can't do it without wasting time, energy, and force to swing it. No point in regeneration if you are so reckless you get cuts too deep to regenerate. No point in not feeling pain if you don't know when someone can stab you in the back and kill you " he said slamming his fist onto the ground causing an earthquake that split the ground.

" but the most important is the skill to be able to reverse the damage you can create " he flattened his hand on the grass and the earth seemed to come together like it was stitched back by magic, and the ground looked untouched.

I looked at the ground in awe and out of the corner of my eye I saw him petting a tiny leafman ( like shiemi's familiar ) and whispering to them. Making me smile a little bit that he thought I didn't see.

" okay. Let's start. We are going to start with strength because that's what you have the most problem controling. I'm going to grow a tree and you have to figure out how to attack me using it " he said as I felt the earth shake but not like an earthquake, a tree suddenly sprouted from the ground next to me. It's branches twisting like a never ending dance and it's beauty of that like every tree on the earth. Unique. I fell back in surprise of the sudden gush of air moving out of the way as if to not get split by the tree's branches. Wow! I've never seen a tree grow so fast!

But there was still one thing I don't understand. " why can't we just spar? " I asked. But he remained silent. After a bit of silence he said " your strength surpasses human capabilities but I surpass demon strength. We can't spar until you are strong enough to handle a blow or deliver one." Even though he was right, something in his eyes says there was another reason.

" come on. If you can land a blow on me then we can spar next time " he said teasing me and smiling at my pout. This is going to be easy. I grabbed the tree and ripped it out of the ground. Lighter than I imagined but there are some roots refusing to leave the dirt.

I pulled until the tree and it's roots were out in the open and I threw it at Amaimon. The tree crashed to the ground but as the dirt settled, I couldn't find Amaimon. " that took to long, any enemy would've gotten the upper hand " Amaimon whispered his fangs lightly nipping my ear, making me jump in surprise at the fact that he was suddenly behind me.

" try something else. That took to much time, energy, and force " he said growing another tree a few yards away. " on the count of 3 we are going to be continuously training without breaks " he said crossing his arms. " you ready? " he said smirking a bit, showing off his fangs.

My body got fired up at the thought of training so hard. I usually hated exercise but my body suddenly craved a fight, the train, and the ability to win. " yeah " I said and I saw Amaimon's eyes give an amused glint at my reaction.

" 1....2....3! " and I didn't even look at him, we took off and I pushed off the ground and went as fast as I could. I almost slammed into the tree because I was going faster than I thought.

I broke a branch off the tree and looked around. Where is he? " you know your running is still slow- I quickly turned round and kicked the branch upward. Piercing through other branches and up through the leaves of the tree. I was shocked at my reaction but Amaimon wasn't.

" good! You're learning. That's your keyta's instinct kicking in " he said sitting on a branch. I jumped on the tree and I chased him for hours. Missing every shot.

" I can't believe I couldn't even get you once! " I yelled exasperated. " you didn't think it would be easy now did you? " he chuckled.

" I'm gonna go shower before the party starts " I said walking into my room. " may I join you? " he asked leaning in the door way.

" nope " I said gathering my closes to wear to the party. " why not! " he whined hugging me from behind.

" I told you Amaimon. We have different anatomy " I sighed. " but I've already read everything on anatomy " he continued to whine.

" maybe one day but not today Amaimon. Okay? " I compromied. I remember what sleep Amaimon said we are gonna end up mating one way or another, we can take a shower after he's already seen me like that. But what if he wants to have sex in the shower.

" your face is doing the red thing again " he said poking my cheek. " go shower " I laughed pushing him towards the door. " okay! Okay! I'll see you in a bit " he said walking out.

I got dressed and did my best to look good. My hair got longer, guess that's what happens when your in a coma for a year. It's weird having it so long. I wonder if I should cut it.

I heard laughter. I opened the door and looked down the halls. It's not coming from inside the dorm. " hey " I heard and jumped.

I turned to look at Amaimon standing there. " you scared me " I said letting go of a breath I didn't even know I was holding. " there on their way here. We should get down stairs " he said taking my hand.

I looked down at our intertwined fingers and smiled lightly. He walked down the stairs together. " I'll be in the shadows. Don't want to scare them away when the walk in " he chuckled.

I sat there and waited as the laughter got louder. It's been a year but it feels like I saw them just yesterday. I wonder if they missed me. I heard the doors unlock and Shiema was the first to stumble in laughing with his back facing me.

the laughter died as soon as they all saw me. the looked shocked, like their minds were racing a mile a minute and like nothing they could say would explain how they felt at that moment. Shiema noticed that everyone stopped laughing and said " why is everyone just standing there?"

he slowly turned around and looked shocked as well. he was the first to snap out of it. " is this a dream? do my eyes deceive me. my flower is awake! " he said walking closer intent on hugging me.

" I wouldn't do that if I was you. your flower, my princess. flowers only blossom when the time is right and with help from the Earth, in turn, she will blossom with me and I will help her grow. she is mine " he growled coming out from behind the shadows.

my class mates took a step back. " what's he doing here?! " Izumo yelled holding Shiemi close, she seemed to be more scared then all of them.

" please wait! just listen please! for me " I asked pleading and hoping they would listen. Amaimon took slow steps toward my classmates, like they were small animals. he got in front of them and bowed.

" I would like to apologize for the danger I put you in back then. and especially to you Shiemi, I owe you one most of all " he said " I hope you would accept my apology. This doesn't mean you have to trust me but I do hope this means that Korosu can celebrate her birthday with all of us together " he said looking back.

" I'm not sure whether to believe him " Izumo said crossing her arms. " guys he really is a good guy. he hasn't tried to hurt any of us and we have lived here for months. its safe I promise " Kasai said. " he bit me! " Shiema yelled.

" yeah well you deserved it " Okami glared. Amaimon bit Shiema? Wait, That's not the point. " please guys? For me? " I asked.

" fine, but only if it's just for today. I still don't trust him " Izumo said Turning up her nose.

The party was going great! Everyone was dancing, Rin and Shiema were singing, Izumo and Shiemi were talking with Grimora and Kasai near the drinks, Yukio was being dragged by Okami to dance and Bon and Konekomaru were laughing at Rin and Shiema's attempt at singing.

Me and Amaimon were dancing too. He had a blank face but I knew from the glint in his eyes that he was having fun. He was smiling on the inside, the smile reserved for me.

He suddenly pulled me toward him. " come with me " he said dragging me away from the party. We rushed into the woods jumping over logs, laughing the whole way.

I didn't know where we were going but I trusted him so it never mattered. We suddenly broke free of the trees and into a meadow.

He suddenly fell backwards, dragging me down too. I turned my head to look at him. " what are we doing here? " I asked smiling at him.

" the earth is beautiful. There is something I found could rival that beauty. Two now. You and something more vast. If you get far away from the lights, you lay in the dark. People think the dark is scary but they don't realize that it too is beautiful. You're never truly in the dark, because even in the darkest night, if you run far enough, you see all the stars in the sky. More stars then grains of sand on the earth " Amaimon said reaching his hand out towards the sky.

" I've never seen so many " I said looking up. I've always lived in the suburbs with my dad, I've never been outside of town until true cross. I had always been in the light of the city, I've never seen this many stars.

" it's gonna be late soon " I said remembering that my classmates came after sun down and it's been a long time since then. " I want to sleep out here tonight. Just the two of us. Happy 17th birthday and the anniversary of our love and meeting because we met a year ago from today " he said putting his arms behind his head, smiling at me.

" Thanks Amaimon. For everything, from then to now " I said curling up to his side. He took his arm it from behind his head and turned to me, holding me close. He put his arm around me and kissed my head.

" nothing on this earth will ever harm you while I'm here " he said as my eyes slowly drifted closed. I feel asleep in that meadow that day.

It's been a few days since my birthday. All of my classmates slept at the dorm. They all panicked when they woke up and I wasn't there.

Grimora had to do a tracking spell on me. They found me with Amaimon and decided it would be a bad idea to try to separate us, so they left, but not before taking pictures.

I got back to school and everyone was surprised to see me. I had been gone for a year. I continues with my classes, even though it was with no one I knew because everyone had already finished the year and we're now a year ahead. I still took the first class exam like Mephisto asked of me before the accident.

Not much different since everyone in my cram school was too now...... so I have to train more again, he wants me to be ready. I'm sitting in cram class, Yukio teaching us about the damages to the soul that can happen with a demon possessing the body too long.

The door bursted open. Mephisto walked in smiling. " you couldn't just knock like a normal person? " Yukio said angry about the damage to the door and wall due to Mephy's entrance.

" it's important Yukio " he said waving him off. Yukio sighed knowing this wouldn't be the last time.

" there has been sightings and attacks. We aren't sure what it is yet but we have reason to believe that it's a pureblood's work. The Vatican have decided to give this mission to a select few. The instructions are to get rid of the vampire. Instructions say to kill it on sight. Be warned, this is a pure blood " he said smirking.

" those who will attend the mission are Yukio Okumira, Rin Okumira, Kasai, Okami, And Korosuakuma " he said reading the letter he took out of his pocket.

The class went into a riot on why some couldn't go. While they were busy yelling at Yukio, Mephisto strolled over to me and whispered " bring my brother along. If things get nasty, I don't want my weapon or sister-in-law dead " he said striding towards the door. I didn't know that this mission was going to be the start of a crazy, hazardous, adventure.

Sorry for everything, depression made me not want to do anything but I've been mentally stable for a while and trying to put my life back together. My current love life is surprisingly going great! I decided I wasn't going to date for a while but that changed one day when I hung out with Brandon. Brandon is a senior outcast from my school that I dragged into the outcast family at the beginning of the year. We are dating now and I couldn't be happier in my life. He is romantic, and smart, and nerdy, and beautiful, and kind, and loyal, and amazing. When we started dating he threw rocks at my window and I snuck out at 11 at night and we talked till 1 in the morning. Our love life is like a movie and I couldn't be happier the way we are. We sit there and talk under the stars and sometimes we will just lay there in silence.
