Tatia POV :

I heard the door open and I smelled him before I saw him. I turned and smiled when I saw him leaning against the door. he smiled back at me and I ran towards him. I jumped on him and he caught me in his arms. I took a deep breath of his scent and he hugged me.

I was starting to slip so I tightened my legs around his waist and he laughed and put his arms under my legs. I missed him a lot. Caster taught me everything he knew and now I'm alone for a lot of the day. he had to go to another pack to help them after an attack.

he said that I had to stay because being an unmated alpha female, I'm a target for rogues. they could have still been in the area and he didn't want to risk it. he also had guards posted at the doors and on the balcony. I didn't mind because even if I haven't had nightmares in a long time, I still worry.

how long will I be safe? how long can I be happy before it all goes down hill? he was gone for almost a week and he just came back. that means I haven't had his blood in that time so I need his blood right now.

he kicked the door closed and brought us over to the bed. he sat down and pulled his shirt off. I took a second to admire his chest. his 8-pack was mesmerizing. he chuckled and touched my cheek. " how did I get so lucky? " he said and I wanted to cry. " shouldn't I be asking you that? " I said touching my forehead to his.

" I can't wait for you to be my wife and the mother of our pups " he said bringing me closer to his body. " I can't wait for you to be my husband and the father of our pups " I said putting my arms around his neck. " I missed you " he whispered. " I missed you too " I said just living in the moment.

I licked his neck and bit into it. his arms tightened around me and he let out a low groan. I drank only as much as I needed because it was hard to control myself due to his blood. I licked up any blood that I missed and licked the puncture wounds until they stopped bleeding.

" you don't know how much that makes me want to make love to you " he said breathing heavy. " stop saying such embarrassing things " I said blushing and slapping his arm. he laughed at my blush and kissed my head.

" lets sleep. you must be tired " I said opening the covers. we climbed into bed and he held me close. I always felt so safe like this but sadly it didn't stop the reoccurring nightmare. I haven't had them in a long time and I hope this means that it has stop plaguing me. sadly I know that he is still looking for me.

call it whatever. 6th sense or a feeling. but the more days go by that I don't have the nightmare, the more I feel he is getting closer. I drift into the darkness. I had this feeling. I don't know how to describe it.

I felt my brain start to process, getting ready for me to dream. not again. I don't want to see them burn again. I don't want to see Darien again. but what I got was darkness. what's going on? that's when I saw it. his red eyes.

he smiled evilly and I got ready in battle stance. " oh my dearest, why don't you look happy to see me? " he said jokingly pouting. " I don't know, maybe its the fact that you tried to rape me and try to force me to marry you? " I hissed out.

" aw my bride you wound me, but - " " when will you get it through your head that I will never marry you! " I yelled at him. " don't interrupt me " he hissed chocking me. " fuck you " I said using a vine to stab through his leg.

he hissed in pain and dropped me. I fell to the floor gasping for air. " you bitch " he said kicking me in the stomach. he hit me so hard I coughed up blood. I held my stomach and he kneeled down. he forcefully grabbed my chin and made me look up at him.

" do you really think you could win against me? I could take you right here but it won't be as fun if Nick wasn't watching helplessly dying " he said smiling evilly at the end. wait. I spit blood on his face and he automatically backed up and wiped his face.

" how do you know his name? " I asked my red eyes glowing. all he did was smile. the next words would be what I feared most. "because........ I found you " was all he said and faded away. I sat up in bed screaming and crying.

Nick heard and sat up and held me close. " what's wrong? I thought the nightmares were over? " he said holding me to his chest. " he-he-he " I stuttered. " who? Darien? " he said with his voice full of venom. " he found us " I whispered.

before I could say anything an omega busted in. " I'm so sorry alpha and luna but we are being attacked in the southern border " he said breathing heavy like he ran here. " WHAT?! " he yelled getting up.

" take all the women and pups to the safe room, I'll be back " he said getting up. I grabbed his arm before he could get too far " promise you'll come back " I said trying to stay strong. " I promise " he said giving me a kiss. the kiss was amazing, full of passion and love, but the scary thing was that I felt like a goodbye.

like a ' in case I don't come back, remember this .' I knew that I couldn't just let it happen.

Nick POV :

I can't control if I die. I'm not even immortal. but I will do anything to come back to her. I backed away from the kiss and she spoke up before I could leave. " I'll teleport you " she said. she started speaking in Latin and there was a bright white light and there was circular portal ready.

" thank you " I said going through. I past through and was in the forest. I was wondering is she teleported me to the right place but when I smelled the blood, both vampire and werewolf, I knew I was close by.

I ran towards the battle and shifted. I knew it was them. they have been attacking packs all over the country but didn't do anything serious like kill alphas. they were looking for something. a few came at me and I swiped at them.

after a few minutes there was blood everywhere. a few dead vampires here and there but no werewolf deaths....... yet. the ones that got injured were protected to delay attack so they could heal. my white fur was covered in blood and none of it was mine .

which was the weird part. they haven't laid a single blow on me yet. I've fought vampires before and, even if I don't like them, I knew this group was good because they have done a lot of damage to prier packs. what's going on?

the amount of vampire blood on me was messing with my sense of smell and was slightly startles to hear a chocking sound. I looked around and didn't see anything. what is going on?! I looked up and saw a vampire hanging from a tree with a vine around his neck.

I felt the clouds roll in but it was faster then any I've ever felt. suddenly lightning split the battle field and I knew who it was. I saw Tatia walk into the field. " Tatia, what are you doing here?! " I asked. " we will talk when we get back to the house " she said with a very serious voice.

" give this to the injured, just a sip or it can cause damage " she said throwing a bottle at the pack warriors. " hello Vincent " she hissed looking at one of them. all he did was smile and laugh. she knew him? " I miss watching you try to run from Darien over and over again " he said laughing.

that's what this is about? they are followers of Darien? this is why they have been attacking packs?! they really think they will take her from me?! over my dead body! I felt my body flare up from the mention of Darien's name.

I wanted to kill him. he didn't help her. he knew what she was going through and still didn't try to help her. " I would say I missed you but you're an asshole so....... " she said smirking. " I'm also going to enjoy seeing you do it all over again when he comes to get you " he said pushing his glasses on his face.

" how many times do I have to say this. I WILL NEVER MARRY HIM! " she yelled. " you really thing a few mutts can stop him? " he said chuckling. " I know that you guys are getting help. the one I killed could see the protection spell I was using on Nick, only mages can do that. and you are probably bringing allies because I know he is too selfish to send his own people " she said scowling.

" and you still think you can stop us? " Vincent laughed. " we have allies too " she said. " what do you mean by 'we'? oh darling, you're not even mated to anyone in this pack and a vampire none the less. no one would mind if we take you off their hands " he said rolling his eyes.

" I'm engaged " she smiled. a real one. it made my heart flutter ( a very manly flutter ) at the sight that she smiled about thinking of us together for the rest of our lives. this is the one time the vampire, Vincent, looked surprised. " engaged?! " he said surprised.

" after I'm married, not only will I be with my beloved forever, but will be forever out of reach " she said smiling wider. " to who?! " he asked eager to know. " to me " I said loud enough so they could hear.

" the alpha? you didn't expect me to believe that now would you? alphas are extremely instinctual creatures. as well as possessive and sex driven. they lack self control and won't wait too long for mating due to instinct and possible attacks " Vincent said in a as-a-matter-a-fact voice.

" I can and have controlled myself. I wanted her to keep tradition and thus, like in vampire rules, haven't mated and won't mate until we are married. I am willing to wait as long as it takes unlike your leader " I said growling at the end of the thought of that prick.

Vincent looked generally surprised and smiled. a real one. " a very noble man. nice job Tatia. but it doesn't matter if you have allies, they won't be able to be here by tomorrow night. tata " he said leaving.

the other vampires followed. he mad me confused. did I just get complimented by the enemy? Tatia sighed and walked back towards the warrior wolves. " you guys okay? " she asked. " yes thank you Luna. what was it? " they asked. " it was a healing spell. massive doses can be lethal though. im just happy you guys are all okay " she said.

she walked towards me and frowned. " did he compliment me on his way out? " I asked as we all started to walk back, Tatia at my side. " Vincent might look young but he is old. not as old as the coven leader I killed but older than Darien. he is a good fighter and was always good at planning attacks. but he also is an okay man. he saw me sneak into the library and never said anything. when I asked him why, he said that he believes everyone should be given the chance to learn. even if he is working along side Darien he respects the strength of his enemies and knows a good man when he sees one. he complimented you because he saw that you were a good man " she said smiling.

" I don't want you on the battle field tomorrow " I said dreading the thoughts that swam in my head. " why not? " she asked angry. " if anything goes wrong then I want to be sure that you have the time to get out of here and run and hide somewhere safe. I want to make sure that if something happens to me that you can run away from this place and him " I said looking at her trying not to cry.

I don't want her to go back there. I don't want her to suffer. I don't want her to end up with him. I want her to be safe. " but what will happen if you fall on that battle field? what will happen to our pack, our family? I can't run and know that they will die because of me. I'm not willing to put everyone's life on the line for mine. that's not fair " she said letting a tear slip as she argued.

" I can't. I can't watch them take you from me. I can't. I don't want you to suffer if I fail " I said crying. " but I can't stand and watch others suffer if I fail to protect them " she said wiping my tears. " he was right we can't have our allies here by tomorrow night but your sister and her family is our most powerful ally. the question is if you are willing to let me and them stand on that field tomorrow. before you decide, don't think about me. think about the pack " she said looking at me.

as much as I hate to think about putting her in danger, she is right. I can't be selfish, I have to protect my pack. " you're right and even though I don't want to, you and my family will fight along side me " I said and she jumped up and kissed me.

Okami's POV :

I was sleeping but I was awoken by a ringing. I slammed my hand on the alarm clock but the ringing didn't stop. I hit it again and it kept going. it wouldn't shut up! is it even my alarm? what if its just all in my head! am I going crazy? no wait, I think it might just be my phone.

I grabbed my phone and answered the call and held it to my ear. " hello, may I ask who calls before the sun is up? " I asked angry. I have school and I love my sleep. someone has decided to call me before the crack of dawn, of course I'm angry.

" Okami, they found me. my coven found me. they attacked a few minutes ago and they will be here tomorrow night. we don't have any time to gather our allies but you are the strongest and I know you can be here before tonight since it is almost 3 in the morning. bring everyone that when to the party and please we need your help. will you fight with us? " Tatia said frantic.

" yes! I will do anything to protect that pack and you guys. we will be there " I said hanging up. of course I will help her! she will be my sister soon and I can't have Nick die. I love them both and I want them to be okay.

I felt myself drift back to sleep. I heard the ringing start again and I hit my alarm clock. the ringing stopped and I sighed in happiness. I have to get up. I stretched and got up.

" guys! okay I have to tell you something. in fact, Its the biggest favor and I understand if you guys say no " I said as they all sat down at the table to eat lunch. " what's up? what's the favor? " Kasai asked. " Tatia's old coven has found her and wants her to come back and marry someone who isn't her mate. Nick didn't hand her over and Tatia refused to leave and now they want to wage war on them. she called me this morning and told me that they will be arriving so soon that they don't have time to gather allies. we could teleport in and are their strongest and she asked me if you guys would be willing to fight. I needed to ask because I don't expect you guys to lay down your lives if you don't want to " I said hoping they would say yes.

" I'll go " Yukio said first. " me too " Caster said and one by one they all agreed. " thank you guys. this means a lot " I said trying not to let my motions get the best of me. " no one should be forced to marry someone who isn't their mate " Grim said glancing at Zoyiah.

she almost caught him looking but he looked away fast and blushed. she smiled a little to herself. " we better get ready, we have to be there before the night falls " I said starting to eat.

we were waiting on the field for almost 2 hours. everyone was on high alert and were ready for anything. except what we saw. all we had was 100 warrior wolves. Nick, Tatia, and us . so lets count. 100 warrior wolves + 1 and 1/2 mages + 1 demon + 1 fire tamer + a strong werewolf + an alpha + 1 and 1/2 vampires + 1 kitsune.

they had almost triple our troops and three pure bloods. I couldn't see the other 2 pure bloods but I did see one. something about him came off as................ insane. it was something in his eyes and the way he smiles that was enough to make me thing that he could kill a child for fun.

Tatia POV:

there he was. I didn't care how many troops he had or he brought 2 pure bloods. all I cared about was the face I had to see his face. the face I was hoping to never see for the rest of my life. " Tatia sweetheart, I missed you " he said smiling.

" I ran so I would never have to see you again, but yet here you are. get it through your head that I will NEVER MARRY YOU " I yelled. he frowned. " we don't have to do this. we don't have to fight, you can leave and no one will die " I said trying to reason with him.

" but that's where you are wrong. he has to die so that we can be happy " he said pointing to Nick. " you mean so you can be happy! I will never be happy with you! " I yelled. he is like a spoiled child. he always got what he wanted and when someone or something got in his way, he wanted to destroy it.

" and I thought I was an animal. I thought vampires were supposed to be smart and civilized but you're just a spoiled brat that hasn't grown up " Nick growled at Darien. " listen up Darien! this is my mate! my beloved! I love her and there is no way I'm letting you take her away from me! we are engaged and we will be together as long as I live! I will fight for her not with her! I love her for who she is, not for her power! I will cherish her, not her abilities! " he yelled.

I was so touched by his words that I pulled him down for a kiss. so much love, so much passion, so much care, that it could make angels cry. an angry yell ruined the moment and pulled us away form our own little world.

" If she is yours for as long as you live, then ' if we speak vows ' then death do you part. Alpha battle! " he yelled walking towards center field. the whole energy in the field changed. this the power of an alpha battle.

" do you except " he asked glaring at Nick.

Kasai's POV:

the energy blasted through the field. this is crazy! " I except " Nick said walking towards him. " all allies come forward " Darien said as 2 people made their way to the front. me, Okami, Rin, Yukio, Claude, Grimora, Zoyiah, and Caster walked forward.

Claude, Okami, and Zoyiah turned pale staring across the field. " CLAUDE IS THAT YOU?! " I heard a voice yell. oh shit. its about to go down. " mom! Dad! what are you doing here?! " Claude yelled across the field.

" what are you doing over there?! are you supporting the enemy?! " Alexzander yelled. " No sir, he is supporting my brother Nick and as of now you are the enemy too " Okami yelled. " ARE YOU INSANE!? SHE KILLED A COVEN LEADER! " Amelia yelled.

" she might have but it was so she could get away. no one wants to be mated to someone who they don't love. much like you almost did to me. if you weren't my parents then I would have done the same. I hate all that shit you guys say about preserving the blood line. I want to marry who ever I choose! " Claude yelled.

" you are not marrying into a family of crazy people. I refuse to let you marry that werewolf mutt next to you! " Amelia yelled. " you already agreed to it! " he yelled snugly. we all knew what was coming next. this is exactly what he wanted.

as soon as the words left their mouths then he would be free. " We would rather you marry anyone else! " Alexzander yelled. the wind rushed from under him and a chain attached to a collar appeared on his neck. it was almost ghostly, like magic.

the chain broke and he was placed on the ground. " WE DID IT! " Okami yelled. Zoyiah ran and jumped on Claude. Claude lost balance and fell. they smiled at each other and shared their first kiss. " WHAT IN GEHENNA IS GOING ON?! " Amelia yelled.

" you were tricked mother. I knew that Zoyiah was my beloved since I was little but I knew you would never allow it. when I saw Lilith get her freedom from those very words, I made it my life goal to make sure you said it. Okami agreed to be my fake girlfriend and fiancé. we expected you to hate her but that didn't really work out. but it just did and now me and Zoyiah can finally be together. I'm sorry it didn't go your way but I should get a say in my life. I'm not a puppet, I'm your son " he said holding Zoyiah close to him.

before Amelia could say anything Darien spoke up. " is there anyone who can start the rules of an alpha battle? " he asked. " I can " Grimora said stepping into the field. " I didn't know she knew that " Caster said calmly crossing his arms.

" alright. the rules of an Alpha battle. no weapons, you must fight in final form, all parts of the alphas must fight that includes mistress's of coven leaders and Luna's, as well as queens from kitsune's, and wifes , winner gets what ever they ask for. the ultimate favor will last an eternity. any interference from an ally or troop from either side will result in immediate execution. after there is a winner, the winner will decide what happens to the land now that their leader is dead. this is a fight to the death. anything asked must be obtainable. cheating will result in severe punishment from the ruler of this land. any questions? " Grimora explained.

" does that mean I can fight? " Tatia asked stepping forward..

Tatia's POV :

I knew he didn't like it but two against one made our chances better. " no, I can't let you fight " Nick said. " you said lunas have o fight too " I said looking at Grimora. " you are not mated yet. you aren't luna " Darien said.

" actually in werewolf culture. the minute she stepped into the pack house she became luna. mated or not, the pack sees her as the luna and will lay down their lives for her " Vincent said speaking up. thank you Vincent!

" if that is the case then yes " Grimora said. " please join your mate " Grimora said as I stepped onto the field. I walked and stood next to Nick. he gave me worried eyes and I gave him a reassuring smile. " please state your ultimate favors " Grimora said.

" I want Tatia to be my wife. she will bare my children and this pack will never bother me again " Darien said glaring at Nick. Nick growled and help my hand. I gave him a reassuring squeeze and he took a deep breath.

" I want Darien out of our lives forever. I also want the coven to never allow an arranged marriage and betrothal ever again. I want the coven to treat everyone as a living being and I want every child to be given an education in that coven " Nick said with his head held high.

I almost cried thinking that if we get through this, no one will ever have to suffer like I did. Grimora looked at expectantly. wait I get a say in this! " I want Vincent to lead the coven. he is older then Darien and a lot wiser. as long as he follows the rules that we changed then I will consider being allies with him " I said.

Vincent smiled. he was the closest thing to a friend I had. he was just a pawn in all of this and I'm sure his beloved Ryland will be happy to hear that they would rule as coven leaders. the first both male coven leaders.

I caught them together when I was little. it was a little secret between me and him. he would give me more books and I would keep my mouth closed about them. now they can finally be at peace and not have to worry about others. the pure blood powers will be transferred to them and they will be strong enough to fight anyone who doesn't agree with their union.

Ryland was a free spirit and Vincent was serious. Ryland was the only one who could make him laugh and the first time I saw it, I was happy that Vincent could be happy. but as I got older I realized that vampires were very traditional and didn't like the idea of two men together. even if he was the enemy, I still wished for his happiness.

" last time to back out. do you agree to all these terms? " Grimora said looking at both of us. " yes " we all said in unison. " the match will start when I leave the perimeter. a magic dome will be created. no one can leave until the battle is over. " Grimora said and started walking away.

Nick looked at me and I knew what he was thinking. " don't think like that. look at me, I love you no matter what okay. we can do this. we will get through this " I said kissing him. the minute Grimora stepped off the field I felt the magic build up knowing it was the dome she was talking about.

" Final forms! " she yelled. Darien turned into the pure blood he was, his eyes turning red, his fangs growing out and his body gaining muscle. Nick turned into his pure white wolf, his wolf being bigger then the normal. I took a deep breath. Alice wasn't allowed on the field so I had to go based on memory and I felt my fangs grow out and my eyes glow.

" the battle will begin in 5...4...3...2...1 Alpha battle! " she yelled and Nick charged at Darien. I quickly put a level 3 protection spell on him. This was the mare of a good mage. No potions or elixirs. No long spells or Grimwar. Being able to time the spell right and pronounce it fast enough and correctly in Latin.

Nick swipped at him but missed. Darien tried to swipe back but the protection spell blocked it. Nick swipped at him, it hit him and successfully threw him but I saw something beforehand. The blow didn't touch him. He had a protection spell on too. I should have known, he would never enter a fight without help.

All I have to do is throw a destruction type magic at him and it will break. I summoned a ball of reverse magic and threw it at him while Nick was down. What I didn't see coming was a reverse magic ball coming back at me. I quickly did a back flip and luckily avoided it.

Shit. His protection spell must have reverse defence. But what if.... okay I'm not sure it will work but I don't have time to second guess. I got ready with a ball of reverse magic again and hurled it at him. Like I expected the magic was destroyed and a ball of defence magic came back at me and I quickly did a back flip.

The world slowed down and mid flip I yelled " speculum " a mirror appeared and reflected the defence magic back at the protection spell. The impact caused it to shatter. Now that the spell was gone, Nick charged at him but Darien slid under him. He grabbed his chest and stomach and flipped him over.

Nick yelped as his huge wolf form was slammed into the ground by gravity. Darien kicked Nick hard and I flinched when I heard the crack. He broke his ribs. I ran to help Nick who was trying to stay in wolf form and breathing heavy from the pain. Before I could get to Nick, Darien grabbed me by the hair and threw me on the ground.

He got on top of me and smiled as I struggled. " remember this " he taunted. " remember this " I said using my tactic magic to side swipe him. " remember this  " I said kicking him in the head as he held his jaw. I ran back to Nick and held his paw. " it's okay. Everything will be fine " I said hovering my hand over his ribs.

Heal. occurre obsecro mihi terra qui possit mederi vulneribus diligo et qui ceciderunt diligere. occasionem mihi cara habere quem tueri et conse- before I could finish I felt a sting and for a second I felt nothing but the pain came all at once. I felt my blood. So much blood. I felt cold on my shoulder. Like the kind of cold you feel when you blow on a cut. I was too scared to look.

I don't want to know what he has done. All I know is that there is blood everywhere. The lack of blood made me dizzy. I watched the blood pour down from me. Even if I didn't finish the healing spell, Nick got up and bit into Darien's arm. He threw him across the field and Darien groaned in pain on impact. Nick ran over to him before he could get up.

Nick bit into Darien's leg and dragged him like a rag doll. He picked him us again and slammed him down on the ground. The world slowed down again. Nick was going to attack again but Darien reached into his jacket. He pulled out a blade and I knew Nick would die if I didn't do something.

I did the fastest and 5th hardest magic but this trick was easy to learn. I struck lightning on the blade of the knife and it flew out his hand. I knew he would cheat. I told Nick that I knew he would cheat to get what he wants. But this is an Alpha battle. Suddenly the whole energy shifted again. It almost felt like, compared to the energy now, this dome was about card trick.

" what is he doing here?! " Rin yells. He looks pissed. He was going to walk into the field but his mate held him back. " DON'T! anyone who interfere gets executed " she said pulling him back. I turned to the person who everyone was looking at. " you broke the rules and as the owner of this land, I choose your death " he said monotoned.

" I thought Nick was the owner of this land " Rin said to Kasai. " Amaimon is the demon king of earth. The title comes with many things. A section to rule in Gehenna, control over any forest and earth type demon, every plant, animal, and inch of ground can be bent to his will, he causes earthquakes, and creates new animals and plants. Not only can he do all that but he literally owns the earth.  He owns every peace of earth you have ever stepped on " Grimora said clearing things up.

" you agreed not only to the rules but that you were aware of the punishment for breaking those rules " the man stated sounding bored. He waved him hand and the air filled with Darien's screams. I looked back it him to see him on the ground struggling. He snapped his fingers and a fungus groot appeared.

It was beautiful, I've never been so close to one. ( popular example: groot from guardians of the galaxy. Usually they are guards and warriors for people like titania, the Queen of fairies in Celtic folklore. I changed it a bit but you see how it makes sense ) " heal them " the man commanded unemotional.

The fungus groot bowed and touches our heads and I feel myself heal. When my body is fine the fungus groot disappear just the way it had, in a cloud of smoke. " thank you your majesty " Nick said bowing.

" who is he? " I asked Nick. " Amaimon. Bow to him, he owns the earth " he said still not moving from his bowing position. That's Amaimon! I quickly bowed. 

" rise " he said and I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. He looked at me and started for a second. " I see pain in your eyes " he said tilting his head. But I'm not in pain, he just healed me.

" not physical pain. Emotional and mental. That thing ( gestures to Darien ) has caused you a great amount of pain. I don't usually do this but I want you to be the one to kill him. He looked at my allies and " do any of you have any weapons on you? " he said. " why should we listen to you? " Rin said angry. Okami took out a pistol and threw it into the field. Rin looked her like she was insane but she was busy looking at me. " here " he said passing it to me. An exorcist gun! ( going off the stereotype that vampires die by cross ).

" now stand over him " he said pointing at Darien. I was very hesitant, what if he gets loose? " don't worry. I've attached vines to his bones. He can't get out without dying " he said. I relaxed and stood over Darien.

" don't shoot just yet. Shoot when I tell you to. Aim for the head " he said and I aimed for his private part. " not that one " he said as Nick snicked.

" for your crimes, I will banish you to something worse then Gehenna. I banish you to the sea of shadows where you will live eternity trapped in darkness. Unless death decides to send you to limbo where you will see the dead as they look in the ground. Where the only thing you will hear are the constant yelling of those who passed. You made someone suffer for a part of their lives and now you will suffer for the rest of your eternity one " he said giving an evil smile at Darien.

" NO! PLEASE DON'T! NO! " Darien pleaded. " now shoot " Amaimon said going back to his bored face. To everyone it was a second but to me time broke down. All I could do was look at his face while he yelled and pleaded from me not to pull the trigger. The look of fear and sadness made me want to not do it.

But then I remembered. I gave him this face before. He has seen it more than once but did he ever stop? This is the face that my sister gave him. She yelled and pleaded for him to not kill her, but he didn't stop. So why should I?

I pulled the trigger and watched him turn to ash. The dome lifted and Amaimon disappeared into the ground. I was glumped by a skinny body that was a little taller then me. " oh my gosh! You didn't tell me you were a badass! " they screamed and I knew who it was.

" thank you Ryland now please get off me. My mate will get mad " I said and he got off. I gave him a hug and whispered " congratulations coven leader. " all he did was smile and look back at Vincent who was smiling too but only a little. " do it. I know you want to. This is the perfect time " I said pushing Ryland towards Vincent.

Vincent only smiled wide and held his arms out to Ryland. Ryland ran and jumped on him, their lips crashing together as everyone gasped. I felt smug being the only one who knew before anyone else.

I knocked on the door when we got home and waited a second before walking in. Luckily everyone was downstairs congratulating Claude and Zoyiah. I walked in and Amaimon was sitting like he always did, holding her hand and never looking away from her face.

" I know you. You haven't left this room so why? Why did you do it? " I said. " I have to. It one of the things that comes with my - " " I mean why did you help? Why did you actually care about what she wanted and how she felt? " I said confused. Amaimon never cared about anyone else, except Korosuakuma so what changed?

" Korosu risked everything for you guys, including her freedom, all because you were family. I hear everything in this house. I know that she will become your sister in the future. I also know they asked for your help. I saw because that's what she would have wanted. I helped because that's what she would have  wanted. I did it because that's what she would have wanted " he said
