Okami's POV :

I've made my decision. I'm going with them. when I first got here I thought I would feel like I belonged. my dad was a mage the same as my brother, I was a werewolf. Angel blood has the ability to make you born as any creature. I got stuck being a werewolf. my dad loved me, dearly,but I never felt like I belonged. I would stand there an watch my dad teach Caster magic at the age of 5. they would laugh or celebrate Casters failure or success. I felt the only why I could prove myself was to get good grades and protect my ,oh so fragile, brother. as Caster grew older I knew I couldn't protect him forever. if I wanted him to become a man, I knew I had to disappear from the picture. at the age of 10, I left. I left a note saying not to look for me and that I would be fine. I knew that if I were to die, he wouldn't worry. I came to this territory and asked to join. the alpha didn't want me there, but his son that was 8 years older than me told him he wanted a sister.

he cried and begged for days. they finally let me stay. I became the alpha's adopted daughter and the alpha's son was so happy. I learned that the alpha' s son was Nick and he was a kind man. when Nick became alpha, he wanted the pack to welcome me with open arms. he noticed when we were little that no one would look at me. he tried his best to make me feel like I belonged. he was the big brother I always wanted. I trained for the years while I was away from Caster.

I was surprised when Nick made me the beta. I knew he loved me like a sister but I didn't think he would give me the position. I've had the position for 3 years and I was challenged many times. No one ever beat me and that made me proud, but I didn't make me feel like I belonged. I went in circles. everywhere I went I didn't feel like I belonged, even with my own kind. then they showed up. they made me feel liked I belonged in 5 minutes compared with the years I spent home and in this pack.

I hope Nick understands. I knock on the door. " come in " Nick said. I open the door and he looks up. " I have to tell you something " I said. " Okay, then " he said moving in his chair to a formal position. " I want to resign my title as beta and I want to leave the pack " I said with my voice cracking at the end. " WHY " he screamed.

" well the visitors are my siblings and they want me to come with them " I said. he looked a bit mad. " so someone just shows up and you go with them and ditch your family " he said mad. " THIS PACK IS NOT MY FAMILY " I snapped. he looked so hurt. " you know that I love you ( like a brother ) but you know I don't feel like I belong here. your the only one that wants me here " I said speaking the truth. " you can't leave, your all I have left " he said sad. " you have your pack " I said trying to cheer him up.

" THIS PACK IS NOTHING COMPARED TO YOU " he said snapping. " I'm sorry, but I can't stay. I'm leaving tomorrow morning " I told him. " LIKE HELL YOU ARE " he screamed. his eyes turned black and he pushed past me. " they take my family, I take theirs " he said evily. I don't understand what he means. that's when I realized what he meant. I have to warn them. I ran in the direction he went.

Korosuakuma POV :

we were cheering and hugging. maybe this is a new start? maybe the universe has different plans for me? Amaimon was standing in the corner and I went to go stand with him. I was about to talk to him but he got up alarmed. " what's wrong? " I asked scared." stay in that corner " he whispered. " What? " I said confused. " STAY ON THE CORNER " he yelled. " Kasai, Grimora, Caster, if you don't want to die I suggest you do so too " he said dead serious. they all ran to me and stood in front of me. I pushed to the front of them. " Amaimon, what's going on? " I said scared. " it's going to be okay just stay in the corner " he said staring at the door.

What is he doing? What is going on? Why are we in the corner? " I asked what's going on " I said arguing. I tried to step towards him. " STAY THERE " he yelled. " Caster, get Korosuakuma into the very back of the corner " he said. Caster dragged me behind him. I couldn't see anything. they were all blocking my view. I found a spot where I could see Amaimon.

he turned towards us and raised his hands. roots appeared from the ground. they shot up and covered us. the stem was purple and the leaves are silver. it became a wall that blocked us from him. " Amaimon, what is this? " I asked. " wolvesbane " was all he said. " Why are we surrounded by wolvesbane? " I asked confused. " we're going to be attacked " he said emotionless. " What are you- " I asked but was cut off. " 5 " was all he said. " 4 " he said taking fighting stance. " 3 " he said and started grinning. " 2 " he said as his black nails grew longer. " 1 " was all he said. that's when I heard it. heavy breathing and heavy pounding on the floor. the doors broke open and when the dust settled there was a big white wolf growling. this might be strange but I felt energy. there was energy radiating off of him.

" you took her away from me " I heard a voice in my head say. " you took her away from me and now I'll take someone away from you " I said angry. What is it talking about? It charged at Amaimon. Amaimon's smile turned into a growl. he ran at the wolf to meet it half way. it brought its paws up to tackle Amaimon but Amaimon caught its paws. they growled at each other.

" get out of my way " it growled. " stay way for her " Amaimon said growling. What is he talking about? " I'll rip her to shreds " it growled. " if you touch her I will kill you " he growled louder than the wolf. who are they talking about? " You're a killer, why would you care if she died " it growled. " that is none of your concern " he growled. " it will be when I rip her to bits " it growled back. " you my be an alpha but your still weak and as long as she is with me I'll never let you kill her " he growled. that wolf is an alpha? " that can be rearranged " it growled.

I looked Kasai and she looks terrified. " I don't understand what are they talking about " I said confused. " they are talking about you " she said shaking. so everything, he said and what he is doing is, to protect me? I stood there shocked. I remember what he said " as long as she is with me I'll never let you kill her." I let a tear roll down my cheek. No one has ever gone so far for me, except my mom.

but why would he go so far? Why for me? I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a scream. it was Grimora. I followed her gaze to Amaimon. I screamed too when I realized the wolf bit into Amaimon's right side. Amaimon pried the wolf's mouth open and kicked it in the head. it flew back a bit but it wasn't even 2 seconds before it charged at him again.

Amaimon's right side was bleeding bad. Amaimon tried to scratch it but it dogged it. it bit him in the left leg and threw him through the dinning table. his eyes were closed and his breathing was faint. Amaimon is losing too much blood. the wolf turned around and walk towards us.

when it touched the wall of wolvesbane it backed up. he scratched the wall and it burned his paw. he got mad and started ripping though it with his teeth. the wolvesbane kept burning its face, but it didn't seem to notice. we all just stood there terrified. we all watched as our lives flashed before our eyes. the wolf ripped through the last pieces of wolvesbane I couldn't help but worry about Amaimon.

stupid right? I'm about to die but all I could think about was him. Why is he all I can think of? I looked over at him and he just laid there like a lifeless doll. if he is dead I don't know what I'll do. wait, he promised me!!

if he dies he will break his promise. I pushed pass Caster.

" Amaimon, you can't die, you promised " I said crying. " you said you would never die on me " I said as my tears hit the ground. " DON'T PROVE ME WRONG, I TRUSTED YOU. DON'T BREAK YOUR PROMISE " I screamed as Caster pushed me behind him.

I sunk down and cried my tears out. the wolf ripped though it. " it's all over " the wolf said. it was about to kill me so I closed my eyes. I don't want to look at my killer before I die. nothing happened. I was so afraid to open my eyes. I opened them anyways. I opened them to see Amaimon drag the wolf out and throw him onto the floor. the granite floor cracked under the wolf and another wolf ran in.

Amaimon walk towards me and picked me up bridal style." Amaimon your bleeding you need help " I said while squirming so he would let go.  " " I'll heal " he said emotionless. I looked back at the two wolves. they were both in human form. one was a girl and the other was a boy. the girl had black hair. I took a bit of a closer look and noticed it was Okami.

they were both fully naked and I was completely disturbed. I blushed and dug my face in Amaimon's chest. that's when I smelled it. it was so intoxicating. it was so sweet and it completely overwhelms me. I've never smelled it before but yet I was completely mesmerized.

the silence was broken by Okami. She was talking to the alpha. " Nick, what in Gehena were you thinking " she said angry but relieved. the alpha that I now know as Nick didn't look at her. " Nicolas Alexander Masters you will answer me " she said angry. he turned to face her.

" don't say my full name " he said angry. " I wouldn't have to if you answered me the first time " she said now getting in a heated argument with Nick. Nick looked away. " ANSWER ME DAMN IT " she screamed angry. " YOU WILL NOT SPEAK TO YOUR ALPHA THAT WAY " he screamed trying to sit up. " I WILL NOT SPEAK TO MY ALPHA THAT WAY, BUT YOU ARE NO LONGER MY ALPHA SO I WILL SPEAK TO YOU IN ANY VOICE I CHOOSE " she screamed and pushed him back down.

" don't sit up, your injured " she said angry, but obviously still cared. " Your supposed to be better than this " she said looking away. " I'm sorry " he sighed apologizing. " What happened to you…… what happened to the Nick I used to know " she said sighing.

" I don't know, I guess I got caught up on being alpha " he said sadly. " look at you, you went against the demon king of earth and burned yourself with wolvesbane, what in Gehena were you thinking " she said calming down.

" I wasn't thinking, I just didn't want you to leave " he said looking away. are they mates or something? " You can visit me when ever you like " she said smiling, " but only when your fully healed " she said smirking. " come on, let's get you to the pack doctor " she said about to pick him up.

Amaimon shielded my eyes so I wouldn't see anything unpleasant. I just nuzzled back into Amaimon's chest and took a deep breath of that intoxicating scent from earlier. Amaimon started to walk into the hall. I realized he was still holding me. I just relaxed in Amaimon's arms.

it's strange when you think about it? a few months ago I would be telling him to let me go or to put me down. now I just want to be in his arms. I never realized how safe he made me feel. in his arms, I felt as if nothing could ever hurt me.

I wonder if he ever feels this safe around me. we passed the pack hospital room I was in and he stumbled a bit, I guess he almost tripped. he started stumbling a lot and then fell to the floor unconscious.

he fell forward so I was trapped under him. " AMAIMON " I screamed worried. he was taller than me and heavier than me so him collapsing on top of me out of nowhere hurt. but, I couldn't help but worry more about him than me.

I dragged myself out from under his heavy body. I didn't care about my own injuries at this point. my left arm was the one to first hit the ground and was the most crushed. I couldn't move my left arm but that wasn't important now.

I grabbed his left arm and through it over my shoulder. I pried his up and tried to open the door as best I could. I couldn't open it because I couldn't move my left hand and I was holding up Amaimon with my right. Damn it, Amaimon saves me all the time but I can open a door to save his life!!

this made me very mad. Amaimon is unconscious and I don't know how long it will be till he wakes up. if he doesn't wake up? the longer I wait, the longer I can't tell what is wrong with him.

In one kick, I broke the door open. I ran into the room and felt a surge of energy. I picked up Amaimon, which was strange, but at the moment I didn't care. " I'm giving you strength so you can save him " she said. I knew it was her. my keyta.

I carried him to the bed and laid him down. I looked at his unconscious body. the bite on his right side wasn't fully healed and was bleeding. " help me, I know you know how " I thought hoping she knew I was talking to her. " there is a short way, a long way, and an impossible way " she said.

" I need to know all of my options " I thought. " Okay, the impossible way is to be a creature that can heal, which keytas aren't. the long way is to bandage him. the shortest way is to …… um…… " kept fumbling over her words. " I don't have time, spill it out " I said angrily. " you would have to… um … kiss him " she said. No, I'm not ready for that! I don't even know what I feel for him. " it's okay, you still have time for the long way " she said in a hurry.

I felt relieved. I don't know what. I feel for him yet, so I don't want to do anything rash. I ran and got the rubbing alcohol and poured it on his bite. I saw his teeth clench and he quickly grabs my left hand. I'm sure my left hand is broken. it hurt at first but then it felt better.

as he held my hand he called down. my hair and eyes went back to normal. I tried to get the bandages but Amaimon wouldn't let go of my hand. I couldn't pry it back because it was broken and I couldn't move it.

" Amaimon let go " I said desperately." I don't want you to leave " he said also sounding a bit desperate letting his mask off. " I won't let you die, you promised, now let go so I can fix you " I said almost crying.

hesitantly, he let me go. I ran to get the bandages. I found them in a cabinet next to the bed. while I was taking them out I heard shuffling. I got the last ones and turned around.  Amaimon was sitting up and taking off his tie.

this is when I realized his jacket, vest, and gloves were on the floor next to the bed. I just realized I was staring at him. I snapped out of my trance and ran over to him. I set the bandages down next to the bed on the night stand.

when I looked back at him, he dropped his tie on the floor and he was about to start unbuttoning his red and black striped shirt but I stopped him. " you shouldn't be sitting up, you lost too much blood " I said pushing him back down. " I just thought it would make it easier for you " she said looking away. I saw a hint of blush on his cheeks.

" I can do it myself, just try not to go unconscious, okay " I said unbuttoning his shirt. it was a bit awkward but I managed to get it all the way off. the bite cut deep and it didn't seem to be healing like he said. " Amaimon, it doesn't look like it's healing " I said worried. " he bit me deep so it will take a while to heal " he said while his eyes were closing. he is struggling to stay wake.

this is all my fault. the reason Amaimon is trying to stay alive is because he was trying to protect me. damn it, why am I so helpless. Why would he say all that stuff. he shows how he cares for me but it only hurts me in times like this when I can't even heal him. I start crying, but wipe the tears away with the back of my hand.

I suck it up and start bandaging him. every time my fingers brushed his skin, he would move closer to them. I finished putting on his bandages and when I was about to leave so he could sleep. he grabbed my right hand. " Why are you leaving? " he said sadly. " you just finished being bandaged, you need to sleep and I need a doctor to check out my left arm, which I know is broken " I said not really wanting to leave.

" please, stay. stay with me, even if it's just this once " he said pleading. I've never seen him so hurt and it hurt even more to see him like this. " if you answer this question for me " I said sighing trying to hold tears back as best I could.

" Anything " he said desperately. " Why " I said. " Why, what? " he said confused. " Why did you carry me, you knew you would lose blood, so why…… why go through all of this just for me " I said crying next to the bed.

" because, I don't know what it is, but something tell me your worth all of it, including my life " he said softly putting his hand on my cheek. I continue to cry at his words.

I wish he was more like this and we had more time, but he has to rest if he wants to heal. I wish I could help him, but I don't know what else to do.

that's when I remembered what he said. " mates have the power to slightly numb certain pain " sleep Amaimon told me when I asked about mates.

if there is any chance of making Amaimon feel better than I'll do it. it's my fault he is like this. he scooted over a bit. I didn't protest, I said that I would stay if he answered the question.

I sat down next to him and put my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I felt sparks shoot through my hand and I slowly opened my eyes. I look and find Amaimon holding my hand.

I didn't protest and I didn't mind. I slowly closed my eyes and drifted into the nothingness.

I entered the white room hoping to see my mother but something was off again. the lights dimmed and I was back in the room with my keyta. I wasn't happy to see her but I wasn't disappointed either.

" I told you, you would see me again " she said smiling. " where's mom " I said. " that hurt, you don't want to see me, but you can only see her at night when she can be here. in the mean time you're stuck with me " she said smiling.

" Why didn't he heal " I said thinking out loud. " he was bit deep by an alpha, it will take a while to heal. don't worry " she said trying to comfort me.

" Why would he do something so reckless " I said worried. " to him, your worth it " she said smiling. " What does that mean? " I said frustrated. " you'll find out one day, but for now all you can do is wake up " she said hugging me. " Okay good bye " I said waking up.

the room that was once lit by the sun is now clouded by the dark only illuminated by the stars. I thought this would be the only light but then someone opened the door. light poors in like a beacon.

Okami peered into the room and looked at us. I quickly closed my eyes hoping she would go away. she walked up to us and took out her phone. before I realize what is happening, a bright white light illuminated me and Amaimon's faces. I didn't flinch at the light but I know she is going to keep that picture.

I opened my eyes and she tried to hide her phone. " What are you doing? " I whispered in an innocent voice. " nothing, I just came to tell you that we are having a going away party for me and its in an hour so get your butt up so I can get you out of that dress and into a big puffy ball gown " she whispered smiling.

" No, not another one " I dramatically whispered screamed in horror. " Your such a baby " she said grabbing my hand, most likely to drag me out. she tried to pull me away from him but Amaimon just growled and pulled me closer.

" dang, he really does like you " she taunted. " Amaimon " I whispered successfully waking him. he let go of my hand and got up. " where are you going " he said emotionless, probably because Okami is here. " to a party " she said excited. Amaimon was trying to sit up.

I snatched my hand back from Okami and pushed Amaimon back down. " You're still injured, don't get up till you know you can stand " I warned him.

" you can come to the party when you feel better " she said smiling. before he could say anything she dragged me out of the room. she brought me back to her closet where Kasai and Grimora waited. " where were you? " Grimora asked worried.

before I could respond Okami spoke. " she was laying in bed with a half naked Amaimon " she said wiggling her eyebrows. " it wasn't like that " I said in my defense.

" really? " she said smirking and took out her phone. she gave it to Kasai and Grimora and smirked at me. " that evidence says otherwise " she said as Kasai and Grimora's jaws dropped. " caught in the act " Kasai screamed dramatically.

they all dragged me to the back of the closet. there in the very back were big puffy dresses. Okami took the purple, Grimora took the teal, and Kasai got the red. I stood there like and idiot looking at the dresses.

Okami looked at me and through me a dress. I looked at it and it had no color. it was a big black puffy dress. it had white lace on the corset top and a tool skirt. they did my make up and when we were all done we walked down the hall.

Okami pushed open the doors and the pack cheered. we walked down the steps into the granite floor and split up. I stood there in the corner watching everyone dance. I couldn't dance like them so I stood back and tried not to be noticed.

I heard a group of guys laughing and someone tapped me on the shoulder. I didn't feel sparks, so I knew it wasn't Amaimon. it's probably Grimora or Kasai. I turned to see a man in front of me. he had brown hair and blue-green eyes. he's about 6'1 and had muscle.

" how are you doing? " he said nicely. " fine, I guess " I said not knowing how to respond. I knew he was a werewolf but I find it strange that he is talking to me. when I walked in, no one would look at me.

" would you care to dance " he said extending his hand. " I don't know how " I said in response. " I'll teach you " he said as I took his hand. he led me to the dance floor and taught me.

when I finally got the hang of it the song ended. " now will you give me this dance now that you know how " he said looking into my eyes. it wouldn't hurt anybody and there isn't anything wrong with it. I guess I should he did spend all that time teaching me.

" sure " I said.

Amaimon POV :

I walked into the ballroom and sit on the balcony so I could see everyone dance. as I looked around I spotted a black and white lace dress. Korosuakuma was in the dress and dancing with a werewolf no older than 22.

I don't know why but it almost angered me to watch them. I say almost because it wasn't anger it was something else. I couldn't put my finger on it.

I jumped off and walked towards them. the werewolves that know who I am moves aside and the ones that didn't were pushed aside by other werewolves. they made a pathway for me and I made it out to the dance floor.

everyone stopped and stared. I let out a low growl while staring at the young werewolf and he backed away. Korosuakuma looked at me and ran up to me.

I felt sparks as she tackled me into a hug and I regained balance. " you came " she whispered. " I know " I whispered back. I put her down and we just stared at each other. the alpha walked in with a large burn on his neck. most likely from the wolvesbane.

all the wolves growled and the alpha cleared his throat." my little sister, your beta, is leaving us. in a few minutes she will be off into the outside world. I know she will be protected by her family. as you can all see, I have a large burn on my neck.( a lot of growling ) I got that from challenging the demon king of earth. he did this protecting his family and for that I am grateful to have my sister be a part of that " he said as the pack cheered.

Korosuakuma POV :

we got to the hotel and went to our assigned rooms. on our way up the elevator Caster said " tomorrow will be our last day here, so we are going to the beach, but for now just go to sleep." I open the door to the room I would be spending the night in ……… with Amaimon.
