- 1 week later-

It's been a week or so since that argument between Soryu and I happened. We haven't spoken much since then. He usually locks himself in his room and stays there the whole day. Me not having anything better to do looked around the house and notice a few things I didn't notice before.

There were cameras installed inside, which I'm guessing are watching me so I won't escape. There were motion sensors outside that I could see out the windows and last but not definitely least there were dogs outside which were sure to start barking if I got out. What's strange is that they weren't there a few days ago....

Serena: "Hm...if he wants to make this more into a prison he just need to fence the property."

I mumble to myself while rolling my eyes. I folded my arms and sighed. I knew I was stuck here and if I tried to escape he'd just find another way to bring me back, by force most likely. I've gotten used to this place, it's kinda nice when you forget the whole forced to be here thing. The peace and quiet I never heard in the city was amazing.

My stomach begins to growl, making me walk to the kitchen. I turn on the stove and let a pan heat up there. Opening the fridge I grab some butter and cheese. I then get two slices of bread and start making myself some grilled cheese.

(Soryu has been in there all day... He's probably hungry...)

I sigh once again really not understanding why I care at all. I should wish he starves to death but for some reason a side of me still wants things to be right with him. After debating in my thoughts for awhile I decide to make him a grilled cheese sandwich as well. Walking towards his room I knock on the door.

Serena: "Soryu..?"

I call his name but get no answer. I knock on the door again and still get no answer. Shrugging I was about to break one of his rules as I twist the knob. I was going to enter his room. Right when I was about to open the door it opens by itself.

Looking up I notice a serious Soryu looking at me. I hold out the plate and hand it over to him. He raises an eyebrow and gives me a confused look.

Serena: "You haven't left your room all day not even to eat so take it."

Soryu: "I'm not hungry."

He says as he hands me back his plate.

Serena: "It's not poisoned."

I state as I hand it back.

Soryu: "I never said that."

He says to me while giving it back. I was starting to get annoyed by his actions to decided to say something that for sure would make him take it.

Serena: "Fine, then do you give me permission to go outside and feed it to the dogs? I have my food at the kitchen so I'm not eating two."

(This for sure will work.)

Soryu: "Give it to me."

He says as he takes the plate away from me. I hold in my laughter and just let out a small smile. I guess I still no him well.

Soryu: "What?"

Serena: "Oh nothing."

I say as I walk off back to the kitchen with a smile on my lips. Grabbing my plate and some ice tea I sit at the dining table. I shake my head shaking off that smile. I had no idea why I had it in the first place. Slowly eating my food I stare out the window.

After a few minutes I hear footsteps approach the kitchen. I look over obviously expecting Soryu since there's no one else here. He stepped into the kitchen and looked back at me.

Soryu: "Come on."

Serena: "Hm?"

I stand up from my seat and grab his empty plate, placing it into the sink. I then follow him to the front door.

Serena: "Are we going outside?"

Soryu: "No, we're going to Mars."

He says sarcastically earning himself a glare from me. Opening the door he steps out with me not far behind. I take a deep breath of the fresh out doors air as I close my eyes. He closes the door and walks to the dogs. German shepards to be exact. They start barking but seem friendly since they let me pet them. Soryu hands me a leash of one of the dogs and he takes the other one.

Soryu: "She's the calm one so she won't drag you around, I'll take this guy."

He says as he holds the leash to the other dog. I nod now understanding we're going to walk them. Soryu and I start walking down the field with them as the breeze caressed our skin. I smiled while looking at the sky. It was amazing it looked like something from a movie. It's maybe that or that I haven't been able to see it for awhile.

Serena: "Hey Soryu."

Soryu: "Yes?"

Serena: "How'd you find this amazing place?"

I asked as we continued to walk the dogs. He then speaks up.

Soryu: "It's a long story which I'll explain to you another time."

Serena: "Okay..."

I say feeling a bit disappointed, I was curious and wanted to know but I guess now isn't the time. I won't push him into telling me because all I'd accomplish is getting him mad.

Serena: "W-Whoa! I thought this was the calm oneeeeeeee!"

I trailed off and raised my voice as I began to be dragged by the running dog I was walking. Gripping onto her leash tightly I tried to pull her back but had no luck.

Soryu: "She is! Maybe she saw a squirrel!"

I hear Soryu yell from a distance.

Serena: "Thanks for telling me sooner!"

I yell back in a sarcastic tone. Suddenly I felt myself trip and fall but the dog still dragged me. Geez was she tuff. I then get up but crouch, trying to stand my ground. That's when I then felts something behind me. I look up only to see Soryu who was now leaning down to grab the leash.

His arm and hand were now ontop of mine. Our skin touched as he gently pulled the leash. I let go of the leash internally panicking a bit at how close we were causing myself to fall back. Oh yes and I just had to land on none other then Soryu. My eyes widen as I quickly get up and off him.

Serena: "Um..."

Soryu: "Not going to apologize?"

He asks with a smirk on his lips while getting up and dusting himself off.

Serena: "Why should I apologize? You're the one that didn't warn me about her."

Soryu: "I guess I forgot."

He says to me, his smirk still visible. Soryu then places two fingers near his mouth and whistles. The dog that got loose was now running back to him.

Serena: "You couldn't have done that in the beginning!?"

Soryu: "I guess I forgot that too."

He chuckles as he pets the dog's head.

(I swear I'm gonna...)
