I hear a knock on my door. Staying silent I pull the bed sheets over my head. Suddenly I hear the door open, leaving me quite surprised and confused.

(Didn't I lock the door?)

I continue to stay quiet while under the bed sheets. The space next to me on the bed then sinks in a bit because of some pressure. The sheets over me are then slowly pulled away.

Serena: "Leave me alone..."

I say while sitting up to give a cold glare at Soryu. I wasn't able of crying anymore, my face hurt. My eyes were puffy and I felt like a mess. Instead of seeing a cold expression on his face I notice him with an expression I've never seen him have.

He pulls me into a hug, shocked I stiffen up as my eyes widen. His chin is gently placed on top of my head. Something even more surprising happens.... I then feel a small tear drop fall from above and onto my skin. That tear drop didn't belong to me.. I couldn't believe it... Was he really crying...?

Serena: "S-Soryu..."

Soryu: "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry Serena... It's all my fault..."

(I-Is...Soryu really apologizing...? He's crying....)

Serena: "..."

Soryu: "If...If only I haven't left....none of this would've happened..."

He voice continued to crack up as another tear slipped away from him. He held me tightly in his arms. I was so surprised by his actions and at the beginning I was stiffening up but now I just let it all go. I then wrapped my arms around him, stroking his back I tried to comfort Soryu.

Serena: "Sh...Calm down...everything is going to be alright.."

I felt like saying I forgive him but I just couldn't. There were so many things that I wanted to know now. I need to hear everything before I can even think about forgiving him.

Soryu was now quiet I felt his hand raise up and I guess he's wiping his tears away. Slowly pulling back I look up at him. We lock eyes as we were now on my bed sitting in front one another.

Serena: "I know...I haven't let you explain or speak about what happened months ago."

Soryu: "Serena..."

Serena: "Nows your chance... Speak only the truth no matter how hard it is. I don't care, I just want you to be honest."

Soryu then begins to explain everything from the top. I grip onto the bed sheets tightly in regret. As he explained I felt foolish. I couldn't believe how idiotic I was acting. It was truly a misunderstanding...

For so long I believed I was being hurt by him but I was actually being hurt because of myself. I didn't hear him out and quickly assumed the worst. None of this was his fault. It was all mine.

Serena: "How dare you...?"

Soryu: "..."

Serena: "How dare you say it was your fault? When deep down you know you did nothing wrong..."

Soryu: "I too had part in this."

Serena: "I'm the one who should feel sorry! Don't you ever apologize for something you didn't do! You should care about your pride! Don't stain it with lies!"

I yelled at him furiously. He suffered a lot because of me and yet he apologizes just so I can feel better.

Soryu: "Serena..."

He calls my name in a heartful way before he does something.... Something unexpected... Soryu's lips met mine. My eyes slowly close as I kiss back, greeting his lips in a sweet way. After a couple of seconds he pulls away and places both of his hands on my shoulders. I blush lightly while looking at him with a confused expression.

Soryu: "Don't tell me what to do, for you I'd stain my pride anytime."

Serena: "After everything that happened...you still-..?"

My sentence is cut short by his voice.

Soryu: "When I said I'd love you forever I meant it."

Serena: "I uhh...think the dryer is done."

I say as I jump off of my bed and walk to the laundry room. Just as I expected it did finish. I place my fingertips on my lips, thinking about that kiss. I shake my head and look back at the dryer. Taking out the clothes I place them on the washer and start folding them.

Soryu: "Need any help?"

I hear Soryu ask me not too far away.

Serena: "Nope, I can do it."

Soryu then walks to my side and grabs some clothes. He begins to fold them.

Serena: "Hey! What did I say?"

Soryu: "Words."

Serena: "You and your smart comments."

I say with a smile growl at the end as I roll my eyes and go back to paying attention to my folding.

Soryu: "They're not smart comments, they're simply the truth."

Serena: "There you go again!"

I yell as I throw one of his shirts at him. He begins to chuckle at my expression and grabs the shirt that fell on the floor.

Placing it on the washer he take a few steps closer to me. I continue to fold clothes and pay no attention to him until I feel his arms around my waist. Blushing to myself I feel my heart begin to race.

Soryu: "Serena."

Soryu says lowly as he rests his chin on my shoulder. I try to act cool, hoping he won't notice how flustered he was making me feel inside.

Serena: "Yes?"

Soryu: "Marry me."

Serena: "What!?"

I say in disbelief as my voice raises unconsciously. Pushing off his hand I turn around and take a few steps back, stopping when I feel my lower back hit the washer.

Soryu: "I guess you didn't hear me right."

Soryu says to me with a smirk as he take a few steps towards me, slowly closing the gap between us. He leans down towards my next and whispers the next sentence.

Soryu: "Marry me."

Serena: "S-Soryu!"

I blush madly while gently pushing away. Looking down to stare at the floor because of how embarrassed I felt my eyes then fall into something else. In his hands he was holding a small box with a lovely engagement ring.

Serena: "Y-You can't just ask me to marry you out of the blue like that!"

Soryu: "I know I just wanted to give you this ring that I've had for over six months."

Serena: "O-Oh."

I say with a small sigh of relief. He places the box in my right hand and combs his fingers through his hair.

Soryu: "Wear it when you feel like accepting my proposal."

Serena: "What if I never put it on?"

Soryu: "I guess I'll have to wait."

I smile to myself then turn around. Setting the box on my folded clothes I leave it there and grab Soryu's clothes.

Serena: "Here."

Soryu: "Thanks."

Serena: "No problem."

He plants a small kiss in my cheek causing my smile to widen a bit. Once he leaves the laundry room I grab my clothes and ring. I go to my room and put everything in their place. I put the box on my drawer and look at it for a few seconds then turn my gaze to the mirror.

(I didn't think this day would come. The day when Soryu and I were finally through with all the bad blood.)
