I rolled on my bed until I fell off of it, falling on the cold, hard floor with a 'thud'. I groaned as I slowly sat up and rub my back. Standing up I look over to the camera in my room and glare at it. The thought of Soryu seeing me in my morning hair kills me!

I grab a sock and put it over the camera, covering it and not allowing it to see me or my room anymore. Grabbing some clean clothes I as usual do my morning routine and get ready. Once in done I walk out of my bathroom wearing a pink Melanie Martinez t-shirt, some normal jeans, white vans and my hair in a pony tail.

(I swear anyone say "Damn Danielleee back at it with the white vans!" And I'll flip like a pancake!!! -.-)

Serena: "hm..."

I hum while opening the door. Walking out I go to the kitchen ready to make some breakfast. When I open the fridge I notice no food inside, it was completely empty.

Serena: "BABA! EISUKE! YOU GUYS ATE EVERYTHING!"

I yell as I stomp my way towards Soryu's bedroom door, waiting for them to come out and apologize.

Serena: "WHEN SORYU SEES THIS HE'S GOING TO SAY-...!"

I continue to yell but soon my sentence gets cut short when the door opens by itself and instead of seeing Eisuke and Baba I see Soryu...

Soryu: "I'm going to say we need to go grocery shopping."

He says with a sly smirk as he leans on the door. I blush lightly now feeling embarrassed and take a step back.

Soryu: "Come on we should get going."

Serena: "..."

I follow him without saying a word. He locks the house then opens the car door for me. Once I'm inside he closes it then goes to the driver seat.

(Who knew he could be such a gentleman?)

I thought as I watch him get in and start the car. Soon we were out of the woods and finally on a main road. I watched in 'awe' all the other cars passing by as if I were a puppy seeing new things but the truth is I was feeling a bit of freedom being out of that house.

Soryu: "Which grocery store should we go to?"

He asks me, causing me to give him a confused look. I couldn't believe he was asking me that.

Serena: "Are you seriously asking me such a question?"

Soryu: "That's not the answer I'm waiting for."

He responded, completing ignoring my question. Rolling my eyes I begin to think but could pick one. I didn't exactly know what area we were at know so how could I possibly know which supermarket is near?

Serena: "Hm, I don't really know."

Soryu: "That's still not the answer in waiting for."

He says to me in an unfazed tone.

Serena: "What do you want me to say if I really don't know!?"

I yell at him while glaring.

Soryu: "You're so easy to tick off."

Soryu chuckles at the end of his sentence. Pouting I look back out the window and mumble out a thought.

Serena: "Jerk..."

-45 minutes later-

Soryu: "We're here."

Serena: "Huh?"

Soryu parks the car in an empty lot. Opening the door I step out and take in a breath of fresh air.

Soryu: "Come on."

Serena: "Coming."

I respond as I follow him into the supermarket. Soryu grabs a shopping cart and speaks up.

Soryu: "Pick out what ever you want."

Serena: "You'll regret saying that."

I say with a mischievous smile playing on my lips. Soryu then turns his gaze towards me and gives me a confused look.

Soryu: "What?"

Serena: "Nothing."

I laugh lowly while rubbing the back of my head. We both then began to walk down the food aisles.

-20 minutes later-

Soryu: "Ugh... I regret what I said earlier..."

Serena: "Told ya so."

I say with a smile as I poke his chest.

Soryu: "Do you really need all this food?"

Serena: "Remember when you first saw my fridge?"

~~~~~~Flash back~~~~~~

I walked into my kitchen and Soryu followed.

Serena: " Soryu."

Soryu: " Yes."

Serena: " Look at my fridge."

Soryu: " Why ?"

Serena: " Just do it."

Soryu walked next to me and looked at my fridge.

His jaw dropped.

Soryu: " Why do you have so much food ?!?"

Serena: " I eat a lot."

He looked at me up and down.

( What is he doing !? He's such a perv. )

Soryu: " Wow. But your so skinny."

Serena: " I've always been skinny but I'm an eater."

~~~~~End of flashback~~~~~

Soryu: "How could I forget? That's when I first knew you had an abnormal metabolism to match your personality."

He joked as he chuckled and held his stomach, earning himself a sharp glare from me.

Serena: "Do you have a death wish?"

I threatened him as I took a step towards him. He only smirks and leans towards me. Placing a small kiss on my forehead he says something to me...

Soryu: "Cute."

Serena: "..."

I stay silent as I feel my face heat up. Soryu's smirk doesn't disappear while he walks off with the food filled shopping cart.

Soryu: "Hey, Serena do you know how to cook salmon?"

I hear him ask me causing me to turn around to look at him.

Serena: "Yeah."

Soryu: "Mind if I grab a couple?"

He asks me as he holds the frozen contained salmon in his hands. I shrug in response, not really understanding why he even asks me.

Serena: "It's your money."

My tiny hair stick up as I get goosebumps due to how cold it is here. Rubbing my hands on my arms I try to feel a little heat on my skin.

Serena: "Geesh...why does it have to be so cold?"

Soryu: "Better?"

Soryu asks me as he places his warm jacket over me. I look up at him in embarrassment. A hint of blush was playing on my cheeks by now and they wouldn't go away.

Serena: "H-Huh?"

Soryu: "We should get going to a line."

Serena: "Y-Yeah..."

I say as I follow him to the line. We wait for awhile until it was our turn. I read a national geographic magazine while Soryu read a magazine about guns. When it was our turn Soryu paid the food while I helped put the bags in the shopping cart.

Once everything was done and we had all the bags in the trunk of the car, Soryu drove off. I believed we were heading home but instead he stopped at a Mc Donald's and ordered some take out for us.

Serena: "Well this was an interesting date."

I joked around as I laughed a little better taking a sip from my soda.

Soryu: "Date? So grocery dates are a thing now? I guess this is our second grocery date then."

Soryu says with a smirk, causing me to choke on my soda.

Serena: "H-Hey! I-I was joking!"

Soryu: "Too late, it's official."

And with that sentence I knew Soryu was serious. My heart raced as I tried to get rid of my nervousness by shoving a bunch of French fries in my mouth.
