It was a Saturday, and me and my friend Bailey were hanging out at a skateboard park, eating ice cream and talking. I fought the urge to tell her about yesterday, but I finally let it slip. "Hey Bailey, guess what happened yesterday.."
Bailey gave me a questioning look and I told her everything. Her eyes widened, "OMAGOSH!!! You talked to...Keith!? She squealed and laughed hysterically at my shy expression. "I also gave him my number" I told her, blushing like heck. Her smile vanished. She stared at me. "You. Did. What." I quickly started to make an explanation and was all like "Well um actually wait no I gave him my digits but um I seriously doubt he'll use it um yeah stupid." Bailey suddenly broke into smile when I said this. "Well duh he won't no no I'm jk lol." I knew Bailey was just joking around but I couldn't stop the tears from welling in my eyes. I whipped my head away from Bailey so she couldn't see. I stood up and grabbed my bag and mumbled "Well it wouldn't hurt to have a friend who had a little faith in me once in a while." And walked away, my back turned on Bailey. "I didn't mean it like that Jade!" She yelled in a panicked voice, but  I ignored her and kept walking. She started to chase after me but I was to far ahead of her to be caught up to and I turned a corner into an alley. Then I sat down and, though I don't like to admit it, cried. I've been going through so much lately, and when something good actually happens, Bailey shoots me down and pretends like it never happened. I sat there sniffling like a baby when a tin garbage can tipped over. Stupid stray cats. I thought. Then I got this feeling like someone was watching me. I turned my head just in time to see  the back of a figure disappear behind a dumpster. Eyes widening I screamed, and tore out of the alley way, panic and fear racing through me. I had to get away from here and find help, I had to-
