The world blurry around me, I slowly opened my eyes and resisted the urge to puke everywhere. Pretty sure I have a concussion, but that doesn't matter right now. Sitting up, I looked around the cell room thing. Where had my attacker gone?

Suddenly, in the corner of my eye (my peripheral vision keeps saving me) I saw a piece of metal swinging towards my head, and somehow, I flipped around faster than my reflexes possibly were, and stopped the piece of metal an inch away from my face.

The girl's eyes went wide. "How did you-" but was cut off as I yelled "NOT TODAY!" And threw the hunk of metal at her feet. "Now let me out of here, you demon!" She shrunk away from me and mumbled "I can't."

"Say WHAT NOW!?" I advanced towards her and pointed my finger at her face. "You pulled me in here, I don't know how, but you are gonna get me out, I NEED to get to my sister!" The girl stepped out from her shadowy corner, and I got a good look at her. She looked maybe 13.

Her skin was tinged with a very light blue, and her eyes were big and round. But they were completely black. It was like the pupil had expanded so big it took over her whole eye. My hands traveling to her hands she held in front of her face, blocking me, I noticed that they were unusually long. Pointy ears, and hair so dark blue it looked almost black. This girl was some kind of monster.

She made a bold face and punched me in the gut. Or tried, as her fist and most of her arm went right through me. I yelled and fell backwards. She made another step towards me, and that's when I noticed the circle of metal around her ankle. Forgetting my anger, I pointed at it and asked "What is that?"

"To keep me from escaping." She said plainly, and dove towards the door, sailing straight through it, all the way up to the metal part on her ankle, which seemed to be stopping her from pulling herself all the way through it.

I banged on the door, yelling for her to pull me through, and a hand grabbed my ankle, and pulled it out from under me, making me bang my head against the stone floor almost passing out again. Then suddenly, I was dragged through the door to where the girls head was. "What do you mean you can't?" I said.

"I've never tried it before.." was her calm reply. "Do you think you could get the metal thing off?" I asked. "Why?" She asked suspiciously. I snorted "So I can wear it as a bracelet. What do you think?"

"If I could get it off I would have done it by now." She snapped back. "Maybe if I got something to pry it off with?" I said slowly.
She got excited at this, "Yes!! Go get something to get it off!!" "Alright, I'll be back in a bit." I told her, then turned to run for a tool that could bend metal.
