Alastors pov

"Al what are you doing?" Lucifer yelled as I carried him back to the castle "We could have talked to him. They're going to think you're a bad person now"

"Well they wouldn't be too far off dear" I smiled to hide the intense fear I was feeling. I was inches from death. If Lucifer hadn't healed me I would have joined the other souls in the river of souls. I should have just left him with his brother. Taking him with me will further invoke the wrath of the gods but I couldn't bring myself to part with him.

"Alastor I'm serious" Lucifer said sternly "you could get killed!"

"Darling I'm alright" I placed him on his feet. He looked up at me tearfully. I sighed as I gently wiped his tears away "you needn't worry about me love. I'm going to be okay. Thank you for saving my life. I am indebted  to you" I cupped his face and kissed his forehead.

"How are you so good at making me feel better?" He touched my hand with a loving smile.

"I aim to please" I chuckled softly "now I really need to get to bed-" I stopped when he grabbed my coat.

"I want to sleep with you" he muttered.

"What!?" My face turned red.

"I know you said you were going to be alright but I would feel better if you let me stay close to you" he mumbled into my back with a slight blush.

"I see" I petted his soft blonde hair with a gentle smile "very well, let's go my dear"
