Lucifers pov

I sat on the balcony of the castle, looking out at the shiny rocks that resembled stars. I couldn't help but think back to what Charlie said to me. Choose between alastor and my life in the living world. How can I make a choice like that. I groaned into my hands. This is so frustrating!

"I see you had the same idea as me" I looked behind me to see alastors patient smile.

"Hey Al" I waved at him. He walked over and stood beside me, leaning over the railing.

"It's a beautiful night wouldn't you say?" The rock twinkled in his eyes.

"Yeah" I stared into his eyes.

He turned to look down at the citizens laughing and drinking together, clearly enjoying the party me and Charlie set up for them.

"I never thought I'd see the day. Sinners getting along like old pals" he chuckled to himself "you really are something special. It appears I lost this deal. I suppose this is where we part ways" there was a sadness in his voice.

It was strange. Leaving the underworld and returning home is all I ever wanted but now my heart aches at the thought of being apart from him. I knew what I wanted.

"Alastor" I turned to him. He gave me his full attention. I took a deep breath "I don't want to leave alastor. I want to stay here, with you"

His eyes widened at my words. I started to feel nervous "I mean if you don't mind of course I-" he cut off with a sweet kiss. Fireworks lit up in my mind. Man I have it bad don't I!

He pulled away with a smile "it seems my bed won't be so lonely after all" he kissed my nose. I giggled at the affection.

"I'm going to miss my family but I feel like I made the right decision" I smiled sadly.

"You shouldn't have to choose" he took my hand with a loving smile "I'll make amends with your family"

"Seriously?" My eyes widened in disbelief.

He nodded "I want your absolute happiness my dear and nothing more"

I teared up and hugged him. I really did find the best guy!
