Alastors pov

I nervously fidgeted with my tie. Today I'm making amends with Lucifer's family. The same people that want me dead. It's quite a bit of pressure to say the least.

"It's okay Al" Lucifer took my hand "we're going to be okay. When we explain ourselves they'll understand"

"Of course. You're always such an optimist dear. I used to find it annoying but now I'm rather charmed by it" I kissed his hand. I was in love with him and would do anything to keep him. No matter how much groveling I had to do.

"We're here" Lucifer announced. I hopped out and held my hand out to me. He rolled his eyes fondly before taking it.

"Lucifer!" A group of men who I assumed to be his brothers rushed up and engulfed him in a hug. The all muttered worriedly to him before they turned to me with white hot anger. Great!

"You!" Michael marched up to me weapon in hand. I braced for impact when.

"Michael stop!" Lucifer stood in front of me protectively "please don't hurt him. I-I love him!"

"You what!" The men looked at each other in disbelief.

"This man has clearly messed with your head Lucifer" Raphael said gently.

"That's right Lucifer. Just stay with your family" Gabriel petted his head. It seems they've already made up their minds about me.

"Wait guys" little Charlie stepped in "I don't think Lucifers being manipulated here. I met alastor before and he's been kind to Luci. I could see in his eyes how much he cared. Let's give Luci a little more credit"

I smiled softly. What a gal!

"Charlie not you too" Michael sighed before glaring at me "it seems your influence has affected my little sister too. Now I want to kill you even more"

"Hold it Mikey" Azriel placed a hand on my shoulder "I also saw ally and he seemed to treat Lulu well. Let's hear him out okay?" I let out a sigh of relief. For once I'm greatful for that annoying reaper.

"Fine" he growled "Lucifer stay here with Charlie. We'll discuss this indoors"

"Good luck Al" Lucifer whispered to me as I followed them into the lions den..
