Morning came and I woke up, light from outside shining through the window and curtains to light up the room. I stretched and headed to the bathroom doing my business and splashing my face with some water to wake myself up a little more.
It wasn't until I walked back out of the bathroom that I realized something was wrong.
I was still alone.
I ran back to the note and read it again.
"If we're not back by tomorrow morning call the number I put on the back."
My heart was pounding and I could feel myself begin to panic. I couldn't lose them, not now, not ever. I needed to help them. Forget what Sam said. I wasn't going to listen to that order, I knew that I was strong enough to do whatever I needed. I was going to save my family.
I calmed myself down before I could do anything irrational. I needed to think like a hunter, I needed to think like Sam and Dean.
First, I grabbed the bag that Sam said he had made for me and checked out what was in it. A bottle of holy water, a pistol, salt, a can of red paint, and a few other things. I set the bag on the table before thinking of what else I needed.
After a moment of thinking, I slapped myself in the face. I needed to figure out where these demons were supposed to be!
I quickly looked around, spotting Sam's laptop peeking out of his bag. I ran over and grabbed it. Opening it up I discovered that luckily Sam didn't have a password on it. I couldn't help but let out a small laugh. The person who hacks so many things doesn't put a password on his computer. I bypassed the lock screen and went right to the home screen. There were no open tabs so I opened my own and went straight to the history. Sam hadn't thought to erase his history and I clicked on the last site that he used. It showed a list and descriptions of abandoned or empty buildings in the area. Scrolling through I tried to think like Sam and figure out which one they went to. It didn't take me long until I came across a two story house a couple of miles from town that no one had used in decades. That had to be the place.
Exiting out of everything I placed Sam's laptop back in his bag just like he had it. I grabbed the bag and threw it onto my shoulders. Taking a deep breath, I teleported right outside of the building.
Bingo.
I immediately saw the Impala sitting a little ways back semi-hidden behind a couple of bushes. I took another deep breath before slowly walking up the steps of the house and opening the door.
It creaked and I flinched but there was no sound in the house. Maybe I got it wrong.
My thought was quickly thrown away when a demon came charging at me. My first reaction was to flick my wrist and send him crashing into the wall. This, of course, wasn't the best plan because it alerted any other demons about my presence. The demon quickly recovered and came charging at me again. I panicked, never having been in an actual fight before. The demon was only about a foot away from me when he turned into ash.
I stared at the pile of ashes now at my feet with shock. I had forgotten that I could do that.
Two demons came racing down the steps and towards me. My instincts told me to try and do it at will, so I snapped. Both turned into ashes immediately.
Wow...
This was convenient.
I scoped out the first floor to make sure there were no others.
Once I was sure the floor was clean I made my way upstairs. They creaked with every step I made but no more demons came after me. I thought that maybe they were all gone, but I knew that wasn't the case.
I continued up the stairs and made my way to the top. I scoped out every room but they were all empty. I had one room left to check and knew that it had to be the one.
I slammed the door open with a flick of my wrist and discovered a horrible sight.
Sam, Dean, and Castiel were all beat to a pulp.
They were bruised and bleeding in so many places.
Sam and Dean were both tied to chairs but Cas was trapped in a circle of holy oil keeping him from doing anything.
However, there were also five demons in the room with them.
Anger boiled in my chest and it was palpable in the room.
Of course, I was devastated at my family's current state, but that would be for later.
Now was not the time for that.
