Eight year old Peter was thrashing around in his sleep, whispering, "NO!" and "Dad!" Tony startled hearing screams that could only be coming from one person; Peter. He raced to Peter's room and found him crying, tears streaming down his cheeks. He was shaking and clutching the blanket tightly. 

    Tony went to his side and woke Peter up. Peter hugged Tony tightly, still crying. Tony let Peter stay curled into his side. With one arm wrapped around him, the other was rubbing his forehead gently. "Pete, honey, what's wrong? Did you have a bad dream?" Peter sniffled and nodded. Tony said, "Do you want me to sleep with you?" Peter nodded refusing to let go of Tony. Once they were laying down, Tony asked. "Do you want to tell me what happened?" Peter said, trembling, "There was a fire and you never came back." He sniffled again making Tony's heart break. 

     Tony hugged Peter tight. "Hey bud, it's okay. I'm right here. I'm never going to leave you. No matter what. I'll always come home to you. Okay bud?" Peter nodded. "Promise?" Tony replied, cracking a smile, "Promise." He wrapped his arms around him holding the now sleeping boy close to his heart. No one would take his son away from him.
