(20) 30 Day Challenge - Shopping

Warning: short, sweet and fluffy. You're welcome Cem.

Universe: Homecoming

~~~
"Okay, Dad, we're going shopping today," Peter said as he entered the kitchen where his dad was sat, waiting for his coffee to be finished.
"Why?" he yawned.
"Because I need to pick out some shirts for you that have dad jokes on them," Peter said seriously. "No joke. I also need to get one of those shirts that say 'I'm with stupid' and make it point at you. Because those are hilarious."
"When are we going?" Tony asked after a moment. To be quite honest, he wasn't going for the shirts with dad jokes on them, or the shirt Peter really wanted to get. No, in all honesty, he was going to spend more quality time with him.
"As soon as you're ready," Peter. "See, I'm ready! I've got my absolutely spectacular shirt and everything!"
Tony took his first glance at Peter that he'd taken that day and read his shirt. It had a picture of Spider-Man on it, saying we met on the web.
Peter's grin was so big that Tony felt that laughing would be mean.
He waited until Peter was it of the room before he let out a large bellow of laughter (even though Peter had super-hearing and could hear him anyway).
~~~

"Ooh, lets go in this store first!" Peter exclaimed, dragging Tony into the first store he'd seen. He immediately made a beeline towards the 'men' shirts and found the dad jokes rather quickly.

(Tony was wondering if Peter had planned this out beforehand. Knowing him, it wasn't unlikely.)

"Hey, hey, Dad, look at this one," Peter snorted.

It read how do you make holy water? You boil the hell out of it.

"Can we get it? Please? Please?" Peter begged.

Tony just couldn't say no.

~~~
Nor could he say no to the other fifteen shirts Peter made him buy. The happy smile on Peter's face was worth it, though.
He wondered when they could go on a shopping trip together again.
Because let's be honest, Peter's one of those kids who absolutely loves dad jokes and makes his adopted dad buy a bunch of shirts with them.
See, two in one day? Maybe if I keep this up, I'll actually be able to finish this!
(Also, welcome new reader BookDwerb to this absolutely crazy book. Feel free to request, do whatever! It's a free world. Also, this person is in my Weird Club. It's amazing.)
See ya!
