You where in the kitchen making supper while your sons are in the living room, oswald just switched to almost every channel to find something interesting to watch.
The channel that played those old 20s shows was only showing the ones oswald and mickey has already seen.

mickey walks in the living room and sat down beside his older brother "did you find anything...?" He asked, oswald shook his head no and continues to flicker through each channel till he found one that is playing (f/h/m) ((favorite horror movie))

They watched it, it wasn't really scary at 1st everything was completely fine. Later when the scary parts come up mickey screams at a part and falls off the couch and oswald just flinched and threw the pillow that he was hugging at the tv.
Mickey ran into the kitchen where you are crying and he hugged your leg, you looked down at him with concern.

"what's wrong mickey?" You asked, he looked up at you with teary eyes "o-oswald put on a movie a-and it turned out t-to be scary" mickey told you, you stopped making the food and picked up the small mouse.

You walked in the living room to see oswald shaking a bit, his black fur was a bit messy. You looked at the tv to see your favorite horror movie playing on screen, you sighed picked up the remote and turned it to nickelodeon, spongebob was playing.

You sat down on the couch cradling your frightened children...

No matter how much you tried they didn't sleep all night.
