Chapter : 2

Manan's Room :

It's a blissful morning in the lives of two best friends..who are now life partners and irrevocably in love with each other..

Nandini came out of the washroom ..wearing a yellow color saree..her long wet hairs were hanging on one side of her shoulder ..and she walked towards the mirror...

Just when she reached the mirror..she saw the reflection of her childhood friend..and now her soul mate.. Her MANIK..sleeping peacefully on the bed..hugging the pillow tightly ..a smile was spread all over his lips...and looking at such adorable face..a unknown pleasure filled in her heart...

Nandini : "yakeen he nhi ho raha..kal tak jo sabse acha dost tha..aaj wo mera pyaar..meri zindagi hai...mera manik..."... She said with a smile looking at his reflection in the mirror...

" MERA MANIK.."..she heard a cold horrible voice in her ears..which instantly made her startled and then she saw a horrifying face in the mirror...which scared the hell out of her and she instantly turned around...

But when she turned there was none..she looked in each corner..but there was no one to witness..curtains were flying..and manik was sleeping..she was breathing heavily..her heartbeat was racing faster...

She placed her hand on her upper body..and closed her eyes to calm herself down...

Nandini : "kya tha Woh..".. She said in a little low voice...

" HAHAHAHAHAHA"...she heard the devil laugh..which shook her to the core...now she was really horrified...

Nandini : "aaahhh!..".. She shouted when suddenly out of no where a evil soul came in front of her face...

Listening her shout ..manik woke up with a jerk..and he found Nandini standing in front of him..with her eyes closed..her hands were on her ears..and she was sweating badly..he without wasting a single second ran towards her...and touched her...with the sudden touch..she became scared...

Nandini : " aahhh..."..she screamed when manik touched her...

Manik : "Nandini..what's wrong?..kya hua tumhe?.."... He said in a worried tone..

Nandini : " ww..oo..hhh...Maa..aannii..kkk..."..she was stammering ..sweating in fear...

Manik : "pari..".. He said after cupping her face in his hands and this mere small word was enough to make her calm down...

Nandini : " Maa..nniii..kkk..."..she called his name as a prayer and cling onto him...she hide herself in his hard frame..and he took her tightly in his embrace...

She clutched the strap of his vest in her fist..and shut her eyes tightly and manik was really scared looking her like this...

Manik : "shhh..pari ..mai hoon na..see your rakshs (monster) is here only..shant ho jao plz..."... He made her calm down ...and in some time ..in his arms ...she feels safe and soon she was calm and composed...

Since childhood ...manik address Nandini as PARI..and Nandini address him as RAKSHS ..actually the story behind these names was...when they were in school..they participated in the play..In which they played the enacted the story...BEAUTY AND THE BEAST..so from then ..they start calling each other..pari and rakshs...

Manik : "pari..".. He called her softly..rubbing his hand on her hairs to calm her...

Nandini : " hmmm.."..she just hmm'ed in response and her eyes were still closed..he knows..something is really wrong ...but right now his priority is to make her relax and forget all the fear..she is having in her heart...

Manik : "seems like..my newly wedded wife is in no mood to leave her handsome husband..."..he said to tease her and most importantly to make her get rid of anxiety..

Nandini : " hmmm.."..she again hmm'ed and tighten the grip on him...

He smiled at her antics..and thought some mischief...

He start moving his hand seductively on her back..and just then she came out of her trance..she instantly broke the hug..and looked at manik...

Nandini : "such a opportunist you are.."..she said and just when she turned around ..she felt a cold air blow in her ears..like that air was saying something to her..and she once again get scared...

Nandini : "manik.."..she said his name in a haste..and he was standing right behind her..

Manik : " am here only Nandini.. Relax..kya hua hai tumhe.."..he really become worried for her...she is getting scared on every small thing..is something so unlike about her...

Nandini is someone..who has no fear of anything..but she has AILUROPHOBIA ...i.e fear of cats..since childhood she has that fear ..but no one knows the reason behind this..even Nandini herself don't know..that why she has phobia of cats...

But there is one more fact about Nandini..and that is..she is not scared from anything else other than cats..and today she getting scared from every other thing..that's the reason manik is concerned for her...

Nandini : "manik..Maine kisi ko dekha tha yahan pe.."...she said looking here and there..after turning towards manik...while manik placed his hand on her shoulder...

Manik : " Nandini..koi nhi hai yaha ...see..it's just you and me..no one else..so please calm down..relax .."..he said in his calm tone..

Nandini : "hmmm..".. She said still lost ...he noticed it and thought to change her mood...

Manik : " I think..kal rat jyada WORK OUT ho gaya tha na..may be isliye you are imagining..wese kal rat ki thakkan dur karne ke liye..I have MY WAY..."..he said last two words coming closer to her..and she blushed hard..but pushed him a little...

Nandini : "no masti..aaj reception hai..so no shararat..".. She said hiding her blush..and broad smile..while he smiled looking that glint on her face which was missed from last some minutes...

She turned around and start wearing her bangles...while he adore her from the mirror..just when she was about to put vermilion in mid of her parted hair.. He came from back...and held her hand in mid...

Manik : " it's my right..."..he said with a smile..and she smiled broadly ...he took the red vermilion in amidst of his thumb and finger..and applied it in her mang...she closed her eyes ..and some of vermilion falls on her nose...

When she opened her eyes..she looked at manik..who was smilingly looking at his best friend..his pari..his wife ..his Nandini...and just then he noticed that sindur on her nose...

Manik : "sindur gir gaya tumhari nose pe..".. He said and was about to wipe it off..when she held his hand in mid and nodded no..

Nandini : " this proves how much you love me.."..she said with a broad smile..and he was confused..

Manik : "ise kese prove hota hai..that how much I love you?...".. He said in confusion..but intentionally forced the words...I LOVE YOU..

Nandini : " it's a saying ...agar sindur nose pe gir jae while applying..then apka pati apse bahut pyaar karta hai.."..she said wrapping her arms around his neck...and he yanked her closer to him..by holding her waist...

Manik : "I can prove it in MY WAY..".. he said coming towards her lips...and she was nervous with his approach..they were only inches apart..when suddenly they both heard the loud of window crashing with the wall..and they both came out of their world...and found a very heavy wind flowing in their room..giving a storm like impression...

Nandini : " yeh kesa toofan hai?.."..she said as dirt and a very heavy wind flows in their room...

Manik : "relax..mai windows band kardeta hoon.."...he said and went towards the window and closed it..and everything came back to normal..

Nandini : " it's so weird..aaj tak toh esa kabhi nhi hua.."..she thought and her chain I'd thoughts broke by the sound of snapping finger in front of her face..

Manik : "kaha khoi ho tum..".. He asked ...

Nandini : "ummm..kahi nhi..tum jao..ready ho jao..and neeche aa jao.."..she instructed ..and walked out.. he tried to stop her..but all in vain...

Manik : " ajeeb larki hai.."..he said and went inside the washroom ...

After some good time..he came outside..he saw his shirt and jeans on the bed already..he smiled ...

Manik : "typical wife.."..he chuckled at his own statement..but wore his shirt and jeans...and went outside...

Just when he went out...a dark shadow appear in front ...

" tum sirf mere ho manik..sirf mere..."..that evil soul said in her horrifying tone...

Living area :

Everyone was sitting on the dinning table..including fab-5 ..Nyonika and Raj Malhotra..and waiting for Manik..as Nandini already came down some minute ago..

Cabir : "intehaa ho gayi..intezar ki ..aayi na kuch khabar TERE yaar ki..."..he sang the song and deliberately changed the word from MERE to TERE..and sang while looking at Nandini..who was serving breakfast to everyone..which was nothing new for her..as from always..she do this job..manik's home was always her second home...

Nandini : " Cabir ..woh aa jaega..tum apna breakfast Karo.."..she said coming towards Cabir's chair..and poured juice in his glass..

Cabir : "wese itna time kyu lag raha hai use?..uski raat abhi tak khatam nhi Hui hai kya?".. He asked with a mischievous smirk ...

Nandini blushed hard by his double meaning statement..while everyone enjoyed the morning teasing session..

Nyonika : " Cabir..chup bilkul.."..she said to save Nandini...and just then they saw manik coming downstairs.. Folding the sleeves of his shirt..

Manik : "what's up guys?..".. He said with a signature smile on his face..and everyone smiled looking at him..and just when he saw Nandini..he winked at her..and she start looking here n there...

Cabir : "UPSTAIRS ..kya hua yeh toh tujhe pata hoga na..".. He said hinting towards their last night session...

Manik : " cabirrr.."..he gave a stern look to him..while Nandini went inside the kitchen..to hide her blush..

Raj : "okay ..okay.. First have your breakfast..manik..sit down beta..".. He said with a smile..and manik hugged his dad and mom..and then took the seat..

Mukti : " Nandini..tum bahar aa sakti ho..situation is under control.."..she said suppressing her laugh..while Nandini was still not ready to come out ..

Nyonika : "manik..go..use le aao bahar..and Cabir..you better not tease my daughter again..".. She said strictly to Cabir on which everyone smiled...

Manik went inside the kitchen..and saw Nandini standing facing her back to him..he smiled and walked towards her..he slowly placed his chin on her shoulder..and both his hand on the slab...

Manik : " I didn't knew..meri best friend itna blush karti hai.."..he said after dropping a kiss on her shoulder..and she smiled...

Nandini : "and I never knew..that my own friends will tease me like this...".. She said with a broad smile on her face...

Manik : " am so happy pari..am still not believing that now legally you belongs to me only..."..he said abd kissed on the corner of her head..

Nandini : "am also very happy rakshs..".. She said after turning around ..and he hugged her tightly...

Manik : " acha ..thank you for choosing my clothes..abse har subah..only you will do it.."..he said still in the hug..and this statement made Nandini confused...

Nandini : "Maine tumhare clothes nahi nikale manik..".. She said after breaking the hug..

Manik : " acha..toh kya kisi bhooth ne nikale.."...he said with a smile.

Nandini : "but manik..Maine seriously nahi nikale.."..she said in confident tone...

Manik : " come on Nandini..stop joking ..chalk bahar chale.."..he ignored and took her outside..while she was tensed...

"Tum dono khush ho..par mai nahi..aur mai tum dono ko khush rehne bhi nhi dungi.."... A harsh voice with evil tone came...a black shadow came in the dining room as well..and saw them laughing ..happily eating..having a good family time...

" jyada din ki nahi hai yeh khushiyan..."...that evil spirit thought...
