Nandini walked down the hall with her father, keeping her keep up straight, not at all acting like a shy bride. Everyone in the hall started praising her beauty, dress etc, somewhere jealous as a PA daughter is daughter in law of Malhotra's., All girls there were jealous and cursed that she was going to get engaged to Manik Malhotra, son of the richest man and wanted bachelor of India. 

Nandini ignored all whispering, negative gaze, walked up to the stage to see Raj, Ronit stood beside manik, Neyonika and mohini stood kitke far from them, and had not so happy faces. Nandini smirked seeing them, thought to have fun.

"Namaste Malhotra's ji.." Nandini said joining her hands in front of them, startled both, why this girl suddenly showing affection.

"What?? If someone says Namaste, you should say back.." she said dramatically, her father hit her hands to keep quiet, all enjoying the scene.

"Namaste.." Neyonika and Mohini said, looking around, adjusting the dress, as they always say they have class. Nandini smirked and walked near Manik, who gazed at her from the time she walked down.

"Hello.." she said to him innocently, making him frown.

"You look so happy suddenly." Manik whispered in her ears, holding her waist, !ade her shiver, but composed herself.

"What to do Mr. Jerk Malhotra, I was forced into this. So my mother said once if something happens it's for good, so go with the flow." Nandini said proudly, flipping her hair back, amazed him

"You are something else.." Manik said, shaking his head, looking around the camera which captured their every moment.

"I know, I am different and smarter than you." Nandini said smiling, getting a glare from him which she ignored royally. She looked around to see Navya and Pihu standing beside their husband with fake smiles, like lovely couples, and Naina beside them who had fake smiles too, and Shravan who stood looking down the whole way. He looked up at her with tears forming in his eyes, which Nandini looked away in a second. Somewhere she hurt, angry with him. Tears formed her eyes which controlled replacing a fake smile.

"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, thanks for making your presence in my son's engagement. My son has united with us after 8 years, his life is about to start, need all your wishes and blessings. So, let's start the ceremony with the ring exchange." Raj said on the mic, which all shouted Cheers.

Nandini's hands started sweating thinking she was going to be someone else from the man she loved. Raman forwarded the rings to Nandini, who glanced at him and her brother behind, who nodded. She took it in her finger tightly not to drop it, turned to Manik, first time she had a clear view of his full form, he wearing a white golden sherwani fitting his whole body for perfect as if he made for him, a golden brooch, for few seconds she been gazing at him forgetting all.

Manik smirked, breaking her trance, and looked around in embarrassment.

"Stupid Nandini, concentrate.." Nandini scolded herself, Manik forwarded his hand which Nandini held and made him wear the ring. Neyonika came forward with a ring box, with a fake smile, gave it to Manik who took it without turning, and held Nandini's hand, which sweaty more and made him smirk.

He made her wear and brought her hands to lips, kissed there making everyone? laughed and went aww, Nandini was shocked, even Malhotra's seeing this side of Manik.

Nandini looked away with a red face, Manik smirked and held her closer to him by holding her waist, all clapping their hands, photos being taken. Everyone came and wished and congratulated both happily.  Nandini stood with a fake smile, hitting Manik's hand now and then, because he was holding her tightly sometimes or caressing her waist.

"Thanks for all coming, enjoy the party with dance and food." Raj said on the mic, soon the whole hall lights dimmed and music was played, making all laugh and dance around.

"Let's have our couple of the day to dance…" the dj said on the mic,shocked Nandini, made a puppy face as she was scared of this dress while walking and now dancing no way, but Manik already pulled her to the dancing floor.

"Manik no..i can't dance.?" Nandini turned to leave but was pulled back by him. He held her waist tightly, making her face him, Nandini looked at his dark black eyes, making her lost. Manik started moving in music, with Nandini. He twirled her and pulled her back in his arms like a fragile doll, holding her from behind. His hot breath hit her neck, making her body ajver, held his hands tightly. Manik lift her up by holding her waist, keeping the eye contact with her, making all go Aww on their intense dance. He kept her down, and twirling her again pulling her into his arms, bending her down with him, leaning towards her lips. Both didn't realise their closeness in this dance unless the light was on and all started clapping hands.

Both looked up and stood up straight looking here and there, Nandini rushed from there hiding her red face. Manik just stood there with a tight fist, looking at his father who was looking at him with a neutral face. Manik walked out from there.

"Stupid..idiot…….u rghh...how fhe hell you lsot in him??Are you stupid??You idiot?.. Nandini.." Nandini scolds herself looking at the mirror in the room where she first entered. She doesn't know who's room it is, but it seems like the guest rooms see no picture or photo.

"I messed up everything, what am I supposed to do?What am I doing??" Nandini said, tapping her heels on the floor, biting her lips. She heard a closing door sound, turned to see Shravan stood.

"Shravan.What are you doing here??" She asked him in confusion.

"Nandu please don't Mary Bhai, please..i can't see it.." Shravan said in tears, walking to her. Nandini stepped back before he touched her,"Don't, why do you care?? When did you leave me in between for your so-called family?" She yelled slowly controlling her anger.

"I know, but you love me not Bhai. So you can't marry him please." Shravan said, shaking his head.

Nandini made a disbelieving face,"Are you serious? I thought you are mature enough Shravan. Yes, I do love you but I need a man to stand for himself and his love but you just heard your mother's words and left me." She shouted in anger which she kept inside for so long.

"Nandini.." 

"No stand there.." Nandini stopped him from touching,"Don't touch me, you called me this many days and messages but in any one message you said Nandini come to me, we will leave together or I will stand for our love. Did you mention any of it? No..You don't want me to marry anyone, and also you. What logic is Shravan?" She said in whipping her tears flowing down. Shravan looked down in tears.

"I loved you for this innocent and soft character but I want you to be strong enough to stand for yourself where you are lagging. What will happen in future if you leave me if any difficulty comes??What guarantee is there?? Say.." She shouted, looking away from him.

She whipped her tears, turned to shravan,"Listen Shravan it's over between us. Let me leave in peace, I had enough pain in my life. You live your life, and I will mine. It's good for both of us." Shravan looked at her in shock, nodded no, cupped her face.

"Baby please, don't do this please.." Shravan cried, hugged her while Nandini opposed it. She felt wrong somewhere as she engaged to someone hugging him.

"Shravan you…" before Nandini osuh him, the door opened revealing Manik, Mohini Neyonika and others behind. Nandini jerked Shravan from her, and stood straight.

"I thought, this girl didn't fit in this family?? Did you see what your so-called fiance is doing here?" Neyonika said, making a disgusting face.

" Now only she got engaged but here she is hugging her fiance's  brother in the closed room." Mohini mocked her, Nandini got shocked.

"No, it's nor what you guys see.." Shravan stammered, looked at all and his mother who glaring at him to keep quiet.

"Come on, we can see what happened. Manik, you still need a girl like her. Raj, get this girl out." Neyonika said glaring at Nandini who stood numb.

"There must be some misunderstanding, don't talk about whatever comes in your mouth Mrs. Malhotra."Abhi said angrily.

"Misunderstanding?? You can clearly see what is happening Mr. Murthy? Just because she is your sister, the truth won't change. All know she loves him, not Manik…" Mohini said sarcastically. All flinched back, hearing a banging sound.

Nandini looked at the manik who hit the nearby glass table in anger,"Manik..for this girl you....." Pavitra about to touch his hands, which he jerks it.

"You are all talking about my finances, don't forget Mrs. Malhotra. You don't have any rights for that." Manik warned Mohini, Neyonika Pavitra with red eyes.

"But she…." Mohini was about to speak but Ronit held her to shut her up. Manik glared at them, walking near Nandini who was just looking at him.

"I shouldn't see you near my finances again. Stay away from her." Manik whispered to Shravan in a dangerous voice which only Nandini heard. 

Manik held Nandini's hands and pulled her out of the room, leaving all behind. Raman has a small smile, Abhi is angry, Cabir, Arya, Pihu and Navya have a shocked face as Manik chooses to take Nandini's side. Naina fket bad for Shravan and at the same time happy for Nandini and Manik. 

"You still need this girl in our family. What is this Raj??" Neyonika asked, gritting her teeth.

"It's his choice, Neyonika. You know what he does when he doesn't get what he wants?" Raj said with a neutral face.

"I will see, I won't let this girl enter Malhotra mansion or as my daughter in law." Neyonika said angrily and walked away from there with Pavitra, Mohini had a smirk seeing it.

Other hand, Nandini sat silently beside manik who was driving the car at full speed, his fist is clenched the steering wheel so tightly, his jaw being clenched in anger. Nandini from time to time glances at his way, but has no strength to speak.

She somewhere hurt by them accusing her for no reason, wanting to shout but when Manik stood for her she felt some happiness in her. She knows it doesn't matter how much they accuse or bash her, but she can't take anyone questioning her character. She herself wsnr to stay away from Shravan after engaging to Manik as she felt it was wrong but their cheap words.

"Don't take their words so seriously. It's worthless." Her trance was broken by his words.

"I am not thinking about that." She said Looking out, Manik nodded, stop the car near her house. Both didn't get down or start the conversation, only silence was between us.

"I don't know, or accept it. But thanks for taking my side." Nandini said, looking down, playing with her ring.

For some seconds she didn't get his response, so turned to open the door. When she was pulled back, he held her chin tightly, made her look at him.

"I don't care whether you love him or not, but the time I wear this ring in your hand, you become mine. I hate my girl looking or talking with other guys, even if it's Shravan I don't care, so keep that in mind. Not every time I speak in this way, I am not a patient man. I hope you follow it.." Manik husky words made her heart beat skip. She managed to nod slowly, keeping her gaze with him. 

She tried to pull back from his tight grip, but Manik had other plans, pulled her closer, smashing his lips with her, making her moan in shock. He kissed her deep, sucking her lower lips, unless he felt satisfied.

"Congratulations wild cat.." he said rubbing her wet lips breathing heavily, Nandini about to speak but he again joined the lips making her whine like Baby, he smirked between the kisses.
