Nandini stood numb feeling his lips on her, kissing her deeper and deeper without even minding she going out of breathe. She hit his chest to stop him, which made him release her, and step back with jerk. Both breathing heavily due to out of breathe. Nandini looked up at manik whose face was hardened and jaw clenched tight.

"You.." Before Nandini spoke, he dashed out from there hurriedly confusing Nandini. He sat on one the car, drive away faster.

"Nandu, what are you looking at? Come." Her trance broken by her brother's voice, ignoring the feeling and thoughts inside her mind, she sat in the car and returned home. Whole journey she was thinking about Manik behaviour. One side he was like a jerk, playing with her life, otherside he was being rude to all, even his family. Why does he wants to marry her? For his riches, his looks, all he could get was a most beautiful girl, why her??Now after the kiss, he walked away as if it was a mistake. Of course it is a mistake, but, God Nandini, you are thinking so much.

Soon the car reached her house, she got down and walked inside hurriedly, rushed up to her room which made Abhi and Raman worry.

She closed the door, leaning towards it, sitting there hugging her knee. Her face, void of emotions, felt nothing of her body except his touch, his kiss behind her head, his smell on her , his lips on her lips, made her shiver still. She whipped her lips harshly making her hiss in pain, touched her lips to see an uneven skin. She rushed to her dressing table to see there was a cut in her lower lips.

"Fuck you Manik Malhotra...idiot..urghhh.." She hit the table in anger, and jumped in pain.

"Aiyoo... Ayyappa.ahh.." Nandini held her leg and sat on the bed,"I only get hurt, why not others?? Why me??" She Kay back on bed, staring at the ceiling blankly. 

She knows she needs to fight for herself, her love betrayed her, her own father against her wish, her fate is against her, but Nandini Murthy won't feel bad or cry for it. She knows to fight back, she will.

Nandini Murthy will fight against Malhotra's and Manik Malhotra too. She turned to get some sleep, without filling her stomach, which growled, but she had zero energy to go down and eat, so slept without food.

"Will you stop it Shravan?'" Navya held Shravan who was crying and hitting himself. After the dinner, Mohini strictly warned him not to see Nandini,  contact or meet her.

"Why bhabhi??Why is everyone against my love??Why am I this week??What mistake have I made? I want my family and Nandini both.?? Is it a mistake'? Now my love hate me.. Nandini hates me.." Shravan cried, Navya and Pihu rubbed his back.

"You are not wrong Shravan, but understand her point of view too. Every girl wants her love to stand for her. She said to leave your family because they were rude to her and her family. It's your mistake too, so don't cry." Pihu said.

"What can I do now???" Shravan asked in tears.

"Do nothing, if I see you crying again. I will send you back to London." All turned to see Mohini standing with a strict face, Shravan looked down.

"Navya, Pihu get back to your room." Mohini said, both nodded and left from there. Mohini locked the door, walked to shravan who was sniffing.

"Shravan, understand I am doing it for your own good." Mohini said, sitting beside him rubbing his shoulder.

"How mom?l I love her.." Shravan said crying, Mohini rolled her eyes.

"So you think this love will make you live your life. No. For living we need money, Shravan, not love. I would be happy if you loved any rich girl but Nandini is an employee 's daughter, what will our relatives or friends say? It will be a shame.'' Mohini said sternly.

"Oh, I am loving her is wrong. But bhai marrying is right. What logic mom?" Shravan shouted first but lowered his voice seeing Mohini glare.

"I don't care about Manik, I care only about my son's. See, Cabir and Arya already ruling this Malhotra's Kingdom, if you start working, we will get the maximum share of this Malhotra." Mohini said with a greedy smile, Shravan frowned.

"Mom, even Manik Bhai is like your son. You are his aunt, why are you speaking like this? Did you hate…"

"Yes I do hate that Manik. Because he is first in all, in education, companies, shares all he comes first then my son's. Even your father supporting his brother and running behind him like dog. How will I feel, Shravan? That Neyonika only gets all the attention, not me. I want to rule this Malhotra, after your grandparents. Not Raj or Manik.i won't let that happen." Mohini shouted, shocking Shravan.

"Shravan, you are my son right..please for your mom, do this." Mohini cup Shravan face,"this marriage will bring a huge difference in this family, we can use that..You can sit in the CEO seat after your brother, rule this world. Ok.." Mohini said with a smile, which was the first time Shravan had seen.

"I will think about it mom, please leave me alone." Shravan said removing her hands made her smile die.

"I will wait for it but don't think you will reunite with that girl again. You will lose your mother forever that day." Mohini warned him and walked out, leaving Shravan in pool of thoughts and sorrow, pain etc.

"Nandini, is the editing ready?"

"God!! Nandiniiiiii Murthy"

"Ahhh….Aliya why are you shouting like this?" Nandini got up from the ground and sat on his chair from where she fell down.

"Then for the past 5 minutes I am calling you but you are lost somewhere in your dream world. What happened?" Aliya said dramatically, Nandini rolled her eyes.

"Nothing important, here.." Nandini said giving the file to Aliya.

"Fine, here is the new spicy news..edit it." Aliya said, giving her another file and walking away giving her a flying kiss, made Nandini smile.

She opened the file to get shocked, there was news of a man who worked in Malhotra company was found dead in a car accident two days back. Police found 10 lakhs money in his house, which was stolen from Malhotra company. Manik Malhotra, the CEO, asked not to file any case and gave the money to his family as compensation for his death." 

"Ayyappa!! This man doesn't look like donating money to people, mainly the man who stole from his own company. Something is missing in this news…" Nandini thought about biting her lips. Same time her phone rang, she saw an unknown number.

"Hello, Nandini Murthy here.." 

"I know your name is Nandini Murthy, meet me outside your office." Phone slips form her hand hearing his husky deep voice.

"Who are you??" Nandini thought to ask bravely but stammered at last.

"Your soon to be husband, come down,." He said sarcastically.

"Sorry, so called soon to be husband, I am so busy with my work..so get lost." Nandini replied back with a tight smile and cut the call. 

"Jerk." she murmured, trying to concentrate on her work, when her phone rang again. She bangs the table in anger, and takes the phone.

"Listen Mr..

"If you don't come down in 5 minutes, I won't mind coming up, taking you down in my way in front of your colleagues. I think you know my way, after what happened yesterday night?" Manik words brought memories of last night, their kiss, brought shiver run down her spine.

"Hope you understand, 5 minutes start now.." Manik said, cutting the call, Nandini's mouth opened and started the phone like some ghost.

"Does he mean that??" Nandini asked herself, letting out a nervous laugh.

"No he won't do that.. Nandini focus.." Nandini said to herself, concentrate on the file but within a few seconds, threw the files, took her phone, bag, and rushed to the boss cabine.

"Boss, so sorry..an emergency work, I need to leave..Will update you soon. Bye have a nice day.." she said all in one go, rushing away. Her boss had took time to realise what she said and murmured,"Stupid girl."

Nandini rushed through her corridor, dashed into many people, resulting in tripping all the way. 

"Nandu..nandu where are you running??" Dhruv asked, holding her.

"Dhruv..hi..But bye..i need to go.." Nandini said to try to leave but Dhruv held her.

"Bye.?But I thought you could join us for lunch..What happened??Why are they jumping like monkeys.." Dhruv asked seeing her state

" Dhruv you are so sweet, but an emergency please.." 

"What emergency??should I help?" Nandini cursed and killed him in mind a thousand times.

"I am going to be a mother soon....leave me idiot.." Nandini pushed him and ran out, Dhruv stood like, 'What the hell she said' look.

Nandini dashed to lift, pressing the button, "Ayyappa, open..time is running.." Nandini shouting and jumping in fear. All giving a weird look, soon lifted open made her smile, jumped in happiness but soon it went to reveal a man in a suit, leaning on the lift wall with a strict face. Her smile died slowly seeing him.

"There is one minute left.." she whispered, showing her watch.

"My watch is one minute fast, I said time by looking at my watch..you are late.." Manik said pulling her inside in the switch before she ran away, pressed the ground floor button.

"It's cheating.." Nandini whined like a kid, Manik pinned her to the wall, leaning close to her.

"I don't think so.." he said smirking, Nandini glared at him, pointing at the space between them.

"I think the lift has more space to stand." She said pushing him, Manik smirked and moved back, making her breath in relief. He stood leaning opposite to her.

"Where are we leaving?" Nandini asked him, breaking the silence.

"Shop for engagement and choose a ring." Manik said with a neutral face, taking his phone. Nandini made a face thinking about it, how much she planned this all with Shravan but now??

"Is your family coming?" She asked in question, Manik nodded no. She sighed in relief about asking why.

"Don't ask too much questions."He said without looking at her, Nandini pouted and murmured,"Jerk"

"I heard.."

"For hearing only I said...'' she yelled, and walked out when the door opened. Manik shook his head in disbelief and followed her. Bodyguard opened the door for both.

"Thankq.." Nandini said to the bodyguard, who got shocked, but nodded professionally. Both sat, soon the car drove from there.

"Going to be a long day....." Nandini murmured, eyeing at the man lost in his phone.
