Even having so many people around you, you might feel odd out. Right now Manik feels the same. He feels awkward standing between many unknown dangerous people. His birthday today finally turned 22 which is dead time to take over the mafia. He can't do anything against his so-called father now.

His phone rang, which showed Nandini but he refused to take it.

He will answer that he is going to take over the position even after she warns him.

"I am sorry Nandu. " He switched off the phone, put it inside his pocket.

"Bro, don't do this. You have time. Arya said standing beside Manik.

"I can't run away Arya. " He whispered looking at his father who stood talking with someone seriously. He turned to Manik and gave a warning look.

"So ladies and gentlemen... Can we pay attention? " Ronit stood on stage holding a mic, "As you all gather here for my nephew's birthday, Manik comes.. "

Manik slowly walked to stage rubbing his hands together, "He is Manik Raj Malhotra, don son will be taking over mafia today. "

All started whispering to himself, some were happy, some gave a disgusted look at manik by his weakness.

"Are you sure he can handle your kingdom? " One asked sarcastically, making everyone laugh. Manik looked down in embrasement.

Raj walked up on stage and made everyone silent, "Yes he will be next don, any doubt. I know he is weak by appearance but a day comes and you all will be under him. So whoever agrees will be alive and whoever does not.. " Raj said in a deep voice which made everyone shiver and kept quiet. Manik first noticed it and was amazed. No wonder he is don.. Have control over all.

"So my son.. Will you take over the position? " Raj asked, looking at Manik who was shivering, looking around the crowd, stopping at his mother who stood drinking non stop. His heart tightened seeing it, how much his man spoiled her. She became drunk and drug addicted.

"I will.. " He said on mic, "I will take your position in the mafia and won't you.. Our kingdom is down. " He said with a neutral face. Arya and Cabir sighed and walked away.

Cut was brought and Manik cut it and fed Raj, Ronit and walked to Neyonika.

"Maa.. "

"So finally you did what he wanted right.. " Neyonika chuckled while sipping her drink.

"Maa.. No that.. "

Neyonika nodded no, "Don't say any excuse Manik. He finally proved he can have control over you. " Manik looked down, "Anyways happy birthday son. " She caressed his head, looked behind.

"I think someone is here to see you. " He looked at her and turned to see Nandini standing on the door in tears.

His eyes widened seeing her, "Hope you don't lose anyone Manik. " His heard his mother's words and rushed to Nandini who walked away.

"Nandini.. Wait.. Nandini.. Wait.. " He rushed behind her but he was stopped by guards.

"Leave me. "

"Sir you can't leave without don permission. " Guard said, Manik pleaded and shouted, but all he saw was Nandini.

"make sure.. He never met that girl. " Raj said to Ronit looking at Manik who was crying.

Weeks passed and Manik couldn't meet Nandini. He didn't go to college either, as Raj and Ronit occupied him in office and mafia work. He met many mafia people and signed deals. More stressful way, even his grandfather came.

He managed to sneak out one night, and rushed to Nandini house. He knows her father is in the office and Brother in the hospital.

He climbed by pipe to reach her room, jumped in to see nandini laying in bed.

"Nandu.. " He whispered, which was so audible to her.

"I know you are awake.... Baby please.. " He climbed onto the bed and held her arms which she jerked off.

"I am sorry.. I can't take your silence.. Please.. " She turned and sat facing the wall.

"Why are you sorry Malhotra?? Why?? " She said with a neutral face.

"No for going against your words.. Not standing for myself.. " He whispered, looking down in guilt.

"Good that you realise it.. Get out. " She said, making him shocked.

"Nandu.. " He turned her to him holding her arms, "Please don't do this.. I don't have any other way..

" Then you should have found your way manik... I told you a hundred times.. Don't go on his way.. But you proved you will follow your father's way right.." She yelled, jerking his hands.

Manik got angry hearing it, "I am not like him.. Please let me explain. "

"Explain what?? You let him control you. Now he will think all the way to make you like his puppet.. Like he did before. '' She said, looking away.

"I won't let that happen... Trust me angel. " He said cupping her face, Nandini held his hand, and pulled her inside the bathroom, which he frowned as she kept something in his hand.

He looked down to see a small box shaped with two red lines marked.

He frowned first then his eyes widened in shock, "You are..

" Pregnant.. I got to know three days back.. I want to inform you but... Sir was so busy. " She said, chuckling sadly.

He stood numb, held her waist pulling her closer, "We are pregnant.. Like I am going to get a baby.. Omg!! " He whispered, kneeling down, caressing her stomach. Nandini held back her tears.

"I was so happy to inform you when you took over your father's mafia. I was so hurt like how many times I told you to be bold and stand for yourself but no... You won't listen. " She said.

"I want to say to you but you didn't come to college, didn't take my phone. Ayyappa I was having such negative thoughts. Like I got cheated and all. " She cried while holding his hand on her stomach.

"I even thought of abortion.. "

"Nandini." He yelled in anger and stood up.

"Don't worry I didn't do it... Because even you didn't come. I will take care of my kid. '' She said in anger, jerking his hand.

Manik rubbed his face in anger, held her shoulder, "Please there are some things I can't explain now. All I want to say is trust me please. I.. "

"I love you.. Nandu. " He whispered, cupping her face, and made her look at him.

"Please trust me. " He kissed her forehead, and leaned closer down.

"I do... I love you too.. But... " Her words cut when he smashed his lips with her and took her to deep kiss forgetting all. She resisted first and soon gave in holding his nape. Both lost in kisses, didn't even notice the door was open and someone stood there.

"Nandini.. " Both pulled back only to be shocked to see Ishita standing in shock.

"Amma... Oh.. " She looked at her and Manik was afraid.

"Amma it's not... " Ishita walked in ignoring Nandini.

"Who are you?? " She asked Manik strictly.

Manik looked at Nandini who looked at him in fear and Ishita, "I am Manik.. Her love..

" Manik?? Who?? Full name. Ishita asked, glaring at him.

"Manik Malhotra.. Man. Please. "

"Get out.. " She cut his words strictly.

"Amma please ma.. I love him. " Nandini said immediately, standing before Manik.

"What?? Love him seriously?? Nandu bets you know who he is? " Ishita asked in disbelief.

"I know.. He is Raj Malhotra and etc etc I know then only I love him. " Nandini said with a strong face, looking at Ishita who glared at her and Manik.

"Ishita you came... " Raman stood on his way looking at the heat environment.

"Ishita.

" Shut up.. I said don't bring her here.. Look what she is doing here. " Ishita yelled at Raman who sighed.

"They love each other, we can't do anything ishita.. '' Raman said softly.

"Oh really.. Wow!! Then I think you know this very well.. Are you trying to get my daughter killed too.. "

"Ishita.. " Raman yelled at her in anger.

"Mam please don't blame him. It's my fault.. I have loved nandini since childhood. Please don't think my father will kill her and all. " Manik said softly which Ishita refused to believe.

"I don't care what you say. Just get out of my daughter 's life.. She doesn't deserve to be in a criminal family like yours. '' Ishita said sirh hatred in her eyes.

"Mam.. I.. " Nandini held his hands to stop him, "Leave manik.. I will take care. "

"Nandu.. "

"Trust me.. No one can separate us." Nandini strongly kissed his hand, in front of her parents which shocked ishita. Manik nodded awkwardly and walked out glancing at Nandini at last who gave a small smile.

He walked away with a heavy heart. He didn't feel good but left.

He reached home safe without anyone noticing what he thought but Raj already saw him leaving home and secretly got angry.

Four month passed.

Manik can't meet her after that, no phone, no college, nothing.. She was nowhere to be found.

"Any news.. " He asked Leena hurriedly who walked in. She gave a sad smile.

He sighed and sat down holding his head, "I don't feel good lee.. I want to see her. I want to she is ok and baby.. I want to see both. " He whispered unknowingly, tears rolled down. He took an envelope which he received days back.. In that his happiness lied.. His baby scan photo was there. His happiness was beyond boundary seeing it, tears rolled down.

He tried to contact her but all went in vain.

He can't step out of the house either.

"Don't worry.. Both will be alright. Don't think too much." Leena said to comfort him.

He took his phone to call her again, "hello."

"Hello nandu.. Thank god you answered my call. Where are you baby?? Are you alright?? Is the baby ok??" He asked in one go, ruffling his hair in stress.

"Nandu.. Are you there?? " He asked again, getting no reply.

"Don't call me anymore Manik.. All over between us. I don't love you and baby.. I aborted the baby. " Manik becomes numb hearing it.

"Nandu.. You abort.. " He whispered.

"Yes, I can't live with a person who can't stand for himself..who can't face his world. I can't love a loser Manik..so don't show me your face anymore. Goodbye. " She cut the call.

Manik fell on his knee hearing it, "Manik.. What happened?? It is nandini.. What happened? Leena asked in confusion and was scared to see Manik crying like a baby.

"Lee.. My baby left me.. My baby..she aborted it.... " Leena got shocked hearing it.

"What?? No nandini can't do this.. " Leena said in shock.

Manik stood up immediately, whipping her face.

"Track her location.. " Leena took her tab and saw it..

"City hospital.. " She whispered.

Manik's face became neutral, rushed out hurriedly, guards tried to stop him but he pushed everyone and sat in the car and left.

He reached the city hospital, "Is Nandini patient admitted here? "

"Sir, can you tell me my full name? "

"Nandini murthy.. " He whispered, the receptionist told the room number he rushed about to stop seeing Raman and Abhi stood in front of the doctor.

"Sorry her baby can't survive.. " Doctor said, which made him numb.

He stepped back in tears and ran out holding his tears.

"Noo.. Noo..... My baby can't leave me... No.. "

"We are over"

"I don't love a loser like you Manik. "

"I aborted the baby. "

"Goodbye."

He break down holding his head, he finally lost his love and his love symbol, his baby

Both left him... Why was he so unlucky?? Why?? Why does everyone leave him??

How could she abort my baby??What rights does she have?? No.. She bloody doesn't have any right to kill my baby??..

He rushed again inside to see Raman and Abhi nowhere found, he ran into her ward to see empty.

Where did they leave??

There was a letter on the bed, he took it to see Nandini's handwriting.

'I don't want to see your face again. So please get lost from here. Please let me leave in peace. I don't want to see you or anything related to you anymore. That only I aborted the baby too. So get lost. '

That letter burned the left over love for her inside his heart.

He went through so much but this.. This is the last thing he can bear.

His heart was completely broken. He lost it all.

His angel

His baby.. Which he never saw or felt for once.

That day innocent Manik Malhotra officially died.

"Finally my innocence died, congratulations Nandini murthy"

All stood in tears, hearing Manik. One soul was numb, raised her hand to her stomach with shivering hands, tears in eyes.

"My baby.. I.. No.. No I can't do this" She whispered which everyone heard.

"But you bloody did... You killed her. " Manik shouted at her face.

Nandini nodded no, moved back, "No.. No I didn't kill.. No you are lying.. I can't.... Ahh. " .

"Manik, please believe her.. She didn't kill that baby. " Raman said in tears.

"Don't lie anymore you mister.. " Manik said, gritting her teeth.
Nandini held her head which spinning

"No beta... She didn't kill the baby

Nandini. " Raman shouted when he saw Nandini about to fall holding her head.

Abhi, Veer helped him to hold her, "Nandini.. Beta.. Open your eyes.. "

"She became unconscious.. Papa, we need to take her to the hospital. " Abhi said, picking her up. Veer helped him to settle her in the car.

Manik just stood looking at them with angry eyes.

"Manik, we need to go with them. " Leena said.

"Why?? I don't care what happened to her?? " He said angrily.

"I feel suspicious idiot..think once she stood for your love Manik. She might not have done it.. Come let's follow them. Leena said, pulling him with her, Manik just went silently.

They reached the hospital to see a doctor speaking with them. Manik stood leaning on the wall with a disinterested face but Leena pulled him with her, walking closer to know. Raman, abhi didn't see them. But veer saw them.

"Raman, I told you before that pills will be dangerous for her. Her mind is getting affected. '' Doctor said, making Manik and Leena frown.

"What pills?? " Manik asked, which shocked Raman and abhi.

Even the doctor, "Who are you Mister?? Why are you asking?? "

"I will ask because the girl sleeping inside is my wife.. So tell me what pills?? " Manik asked angrily, walking closer to him.

"Tell me.. " He yelled while holding his collar.

Doctor hot scared, "That pills.. Which will help her not to remember her previous memory. "

"What?? " Manik asked in confusion

"Why is she taking those pills?? What happened to her?? " Manik asked, looking at the doctor and Raman, abhi.

Raman said all the manik got angry, left the doctor and punched Raman.

"How dare you??"

"Manik.. How did you hit my father?? " Abhi stopped him only to get punched by manik.

"You both deserve it. How could you dare to do this?? How could you kill my baby?? " He yelled, hitting both. Veer and Leena pull manik back who breaks down hearing all.

"How could you?? She is your daughter for god sake.. Manik shouted looking at Raman who cried loudly.

Manik jerks their hold and kneels down in tears.

Inside one soul sleeping peacefully between many tubes, without knowing the truth is going to break her.. Truth will change her.. Truth will break all relationship from now
