Next morning, Manik frowned, getting up from his sleep with a heavy headache due to alcohol. 

"Shit.. " He sat holding his head, trying to remember yesterday's things but all he could see was a blur or blank mind. 

"Manik.. " He looked up hearing a soft voice to see Nandini stood before him with a smile. 

"Good morning manik, here your special black coffee. '' She said, forwarding the cup to him, who frowned upon seeing it. 

Not in this two month of marriage did she do this, his eyes widened to see her wearing a red saree, like a new bride.

"What?? Here.. " He took it in trance, she smiled and moved to the wardrobe. 

"You fresh up and come, I will take your suits.. And mainly your pa called 10times, for your meeting." She kept blabbering all over, Manik just sat in confusion seeing her sudden change. 

Until yesterday she found a way to stay away from him but now. 

He held his head and walked inside the bathroom to freshen up and try to remember something but nothing came. 

"What did I do yesterday?? Has she changed this much?? " He sighed and walked out in a towel to see an empty room. He changed into his new suit from the cupboard , not the one she kept. 

He walked down to see all having breakfast, he was about to leave but. 

"Manik, where are you going?? Come na.. I made breakfast. " He turned to Nandini who was smiling. All were shocked hearing it. Her smile shorten seeing him wearing another suit, but ignored it. 

"Come na.. Come. " She went and pulled him to a chair, made him sit and served food on his plate. 

Manik just sat silent thinking about her, "eat.. Or else I will feed you. " Manik looked at her in shock and made her smirk. He started eating, pihu and navya, naina looked at each other and nandini who looked at manik with a smile. Sharvan felt bad, looked down. 

Elder has different faces, except Neyonika who is looking at manik who is eating after a long time. 

"Morning itself I need to check my eyes I think. I see something unusual here." Arya said himself but all heard except manan. 

"Huh?? Acting like a good wife doesn't change the name of a gold digger. " Mohini said sarcastically, sipping her juice. Nandini glared at her. 

"You're talking about your aunty. " She asked, smirking, mohini fumes in anger. 

"I said about you. Acting like a good wife taking care of him.. Won't change your place in this house. " Mohini said, rolling her eyes. 

Navya palmed her mouth suddenly feeling nauseous, but controlled as she can't reveal her secret. Pihu who noticed gave water to her which Mohini noticed. 

"I know I can't change my place here but I can change my feelings in my husband's heart.. Manik looked at her immediately, "and whatever happens between us is none of your concern aunty. '' She said with a tight smile, mohini dig her fock hard on the plate. 

"I am done.. " Manik said, walking away taaki his coat, and Nandini rushed behind him. 

"Manik." She yelled running behind him. He sighed in irritation turned only to dash with her as nandini stepped on her saree

"Ohh.. " Manik balanced her by holding her waist, she sighed and smiled at him which made something in his heart. 

"Can I come to the office with you?? " She asked, making a cute face. 

"No." She pouted hearing his rude comments. 

"Why? " 

"Because I told if you come, my company will burn again. I don't want bad luck in my office. Ok. " He yelled and said on his car drive away without releasing how much his words affected her. 

"Bad luck?? Wow!! You married this bad luck yourself manik.. Just wait and see how this bad luck change your life and get your secret  out. " She said, whipping her tears. 

Her phone rings to see dhruv. 

"Hello drama queen, how was the first day of the show? " 

"As far as good. I don't think he will trust this side of me soon. " Nandini said, pouting. 

"He will soon have a baby. Fact, you have to make him trust then only your plan goes according to it. He is hiding something big. " Dhruv said 

"Hmm.

" Dhruv tries to track manik calls na.. I know it's difficult but please try. We could get something out of it. "

"I am trying baba, but if he finds it suspicious then it will cause problems. We can't hack Or track his phone easily. Only police can. " Dhruv said. 

"Cha.. Ok… do your investigation. I will help him here. Let's see any clue qe are getting or not. " Nandini said. 

"Yeah sure baby. And leena(manik's pa) is the only possibility that we can hide manik's truth. Try to be close to her"

"Yeah ok.. " Nandini cut the call, walked inside the house. 

Next few days went like this, manik started getting irritated why nandini started acting like a typical wife. From waking him up, getting breakfast, lunch to the office and making dinner, even small things she takes care of him. Only bathing him and getting him ready is left. Or else he will look like her kid. 

She started talking and became friendly with all employees in his company including leena who talk only necessary which triggered nandini alot. 

Everyone was shocked to see this, mainly mohini who tried to separate manan and sent nandini to this home. The day navya's secret came out, her pregnancy made mohini a little happy. 

"Wow!! I am so happy, finally my grandson is coming. " Mohini cupped navya's face looking down. 

"Now the first heir of this family is coming. " She said, smirking at Neyonika who frowned. 

"Cabir take care of her, I will say all necessary things and regular check up... And navya. She leaned closer to navya and said "make sure it's a boy. " Navya's eyes widened hearing it, even nandini who stood beside her gave a disgusting face to mohini mentality. 

Navya is already scared of how to face the cabir hiding this thing, now mohini demands a boy. How does she know if it is a boy or a girl? 

"Ahh cabir.. " She yelled when he dragged her inside their room after they all left the hall. 

"How dare you hide this thing from me?? You got that much guts. Cabir shouted, making her shiver in her place. 

"Why should you know?? Who are you?? " Navya asked. 

"I am your husband, navya," Cabir said, gritting his teeth. 

"Wow!! Finally someone remembered it. But did you ever act as my husband's cabir, other than family gatherings? I was just a thing who warms you in bed. What rights did I get other than Mr. malhotra. " Navya shouted in tears, cabir just looking at her. 

"This baby is my only hope, but did you hear your mother's words.. She needs a boy. Now I feel why I am pregnant.. I don't want to spoil this baby life. " Navya cried rubbing her tummy. 

"But one thing cabir malhotra, if your mother, you or anyone does any harm to my baby I won't be silent. " Navya said with a stern face and walked out leaving a numb cabir behind. 

Navya stood in the garden hugging herself. 

"Proud of you. " Navya sighed and turned, hugged the person tightly. 

"He is nowhere going to understand my feelings, nandu. He is still the same monster I met. I feel so tired of waiting for him. '' Navya cried in nandini arms of those who came to see her. She saw how cabir dragged navya into the room. She already warns navya to speak for herself. This house sees women as a thing , treating them so badly with no respect which she needs to change. 

"Hmm calm down. This Malhotra needs serious treatment. Then only they will change into humans. Just stay strong for you and this baby who needs to see this world and her mother's happiness. Whether it's a girl or boy, doesn't matter. Once she/he comes out na, or grow up.. They will be proud to see their mother fight for them and save her/he. That's the biggest happiness.. Don't let these people destroy it. " Nandini said seriously yet softly, navya nodded with a determined face. 

"I won't. I will bring this baby to the world. " Navya said, nandini smiled and hugged her. 

"Hmm navya can I ask something?? " Nandini asked hestitaly

"Hmm.

" Do you have any idea about Manik's fiance?? Do you know her?? " Navya frowned at her words. 

"Did you know this?? " Navya asked Nandini who nodded. 

"I got to know somehow.. But you say na, you know about it. " Nandini asked. 

"Hmm I don't know fully nandu. My father was a friend of Raj Malhotra, that's how I know this family. Yeah a few years back malhotra announced manik engagement with his love, but.. " Navya said while thinking. 

"But she died.. " Nandini completed her words. 

Navya's eyes widened, "no, nandini... It's not true. "

"What?? But the news channel said she died in an accident. "

"Yes, but there was some news that she ran away, she died in an accident, she refused to marry manik.. All stupid things media wrote. " Navya said, shrugging her shoulders, and Nandini held her head wondering why all things were getting complicated. 

"But... One thing I know about that girl was a middle class and she was the daughter of employees who work in Malhotra company. Naina said once she talked to that girl. Naina was praising her and wanted her as Bhabhi but unfortunately things happened. " Navya said with a sad smile. 

Nandini nodded, "yeah, don't worry. I don't think she will come back to manik after this many years. " Navya said, rubbing her arms for comfort. 

"I don't care about that Navya.. Only that girl can lead me to find the mystery about malhotra. " Nandini said walking away. 

Navya sighed in relief, "God!! Please keep nandu away from this malhotra family soon. This pure soul doesn't know the cruel world of malhotra being involved in illegal work. " Navya prayed, joining her hand closer to her chest.

"Manik." Manik rolled his eyes, digging his face more into the pillow. Again the same drama started as usual every morning which irritated him. 

"Manik get up, it's 8...hubby."" Nandini frowned to see him not getting up. 

"So hubby wants special treatment.. " Nandini said, travelling her hands near his waist, started tickling but frowned seeing him not moving an inch. 

"It's a body or a rock. " She roamed her hand around his body but no change. 

"Ayy.. Ahh. " She was pulled on the bed straight, with a manik above her. 

She looked at him with widened eyes, "I don't feel tickling.. Ha.. Ha.. Ha. " Manik said with a sad face, she pouted. 

"I said right, you are a monster.. Don't feel tickling or any feelings even if you don't know how to make others happy. " She said dramatically. 

"Acha, should I show how I make girls feels. " Manik said in  husky voice made her alet. 

"Oh.. I.. " 

"Shh... " He leaned closer to her neck, teasing her with his lips travelling up and down. Nandini bit her lips and closed her eyes to feel this moment. He kissed her soft spot which made her moan. Manik smirked a bit there and made her hiss in pain, but kissed her there to smooth it out. Nandini hands travelled to hair fist it tightly, making him groan. He went down kissing her neck, collarbone which is visible due to her pallu is fallen due to her fall. Nandini lay down with closed eyes lost in his world. She never felt this good with any boys close to her, even shravan. 

He travelled up to her lips but right time her phone rang, breaking both trances. 

Manik stood up hurriedly and walked inside the washroom. Nandini sat on bed with a neutral face, ruffling her hair. 

"What the hell?? Where are you going nandu.. It's not in your plan." Nandini said caressing her neck, blushed a little. God!! I don't know why if he is close to me I forget everything in a second. He has that power of controlling me but I shouldn't do it. I have to gain his trust first then only I could go inside his world to know about him. Stupid nandini concentrate on your plan then this stupid romance. " Her trance broken when manik walked out in fully dressed in suit. She just adjusted her saree and rushed out immediately to escape from his angry face. 

She walked to the kitchen to see how much wheat flour was kept. 

"Ayyo ayyappa.. Breakfast time came because chapati is still not made. Uff let me do it. " Nandini walked to it, took the bowl, dig her hands inside and mixed it when something pricked her hands made her yelled in pain

"Ahhh.. " She took her hands out to see a glass piece stuck inside her palm. 

"Nandini.. " She heard manik words and footsteps.  But her eyes were looking at her red palm.

"Amma.. " Nandini, lying on the road in blood, looked away to see the car was upside down, her mother's half body outside, looking at her with dead eyes. 

Nandini stretched her blood hand to go to her Amma.. But a car blast threw Nandini aside. 

"Nandini.. Shit... Come here. " She felt Manik said, picking her up in bridal style, running out. Her mind is fully blank.
