Yesterday was really heartbreaking but again we need to be proud of our Men in blue because they were phenomenal in the entire tournament and sometimes it's just not our day !

And as said failure is not opposite of success, it's a part of our success.

I said.

"Wh.. What.. ? "

She stammered.

"We need to find something.. "

I said and started searching in the drawer.

"Veer.. Aakesh she is spatting nonsense.. Stop her.. "

Mayuri said. Though her statement sounded negative but deep down she didn't want to hurt me. No matter what she would never hurt me.

" Bani.. "

Veer said and I looked at him.

"There's no other way Veeranshu.. "

I said looking at him. He was scared and I could read that on his face.

"Oh my god you guys have gotten
crazy.. "

Mayuri said holding her head.

"Bani isn't lying Mayuri.. "

Veeranshu said.

I finally found a hammer and immediately went towards Mayuri.

"Mayu do it.. "

I said giving her the hammer and placing my hand on the table.

"No.. No.. I can't this is insane.. "

She said .

"You have to.. "

I said firmly.

" I can't.."

She said almost breaking into tears.

"Bani rethink please.. "

Aakesh said.

"There is no time to rethink.. It's simple Do the dare or die and I am not going to let anything happen to Mayu... "

I said and Mayuri looked at me with vulnerability.

" I can't do this.. "

She said and started walking away.
Oh No! I have to convince her . The time is ticking.

" Of course you can't do a single thing. You need people for every thing you do.. You use people as per your convenience. Just like you used me as an emotional support for so many years and now you were going to throw me out since you felt I was no more advantageous for
you.. "

I said rudely. I had to make her angry.

" Don't talk shit Bani.. "

She said trying to control her anger..

"Or else what you will go find another best friend.. Just like you found another guy to play around with when you were done with Veeranshu..".

I said.

" BANI!!! "

She said and hit the hammer on my hand.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

I shouted as the hammer hit my hand. I heard a bone crackling sound as some blood also came out of a cut that happened due to sharp end of the hammer.

"Bani!!! "

Veeranshu screamed and immediately took my hand into his.

"No.. Nothing will happen Swe... Bani.. I am right here.. We will go to the hospital.. Let's go guys.."

Veeranshu said.

"Main gadi nikalta hoon.. "

Aakesh said.

"Oh my god! I didn't mean to.. I didn't mean to do this.. "

Mayuri said as tears fell from her eyes.

"Its.. It's.. No.. Not your fault Mayu.. "

I said whimpering in pain.

"I am sorr.. Sorry Ja.. I mean Bani.. "

She said being guilty.

" Guysss! "

Aakesh called us from outside.

"Let's go..! "

Veeranshu said and picked me in his arms. Mayuri just kept looking at us.

" Veeranshu I can walk.. My legs are
fine.. "

I said.

"Just shut up .Apna khayal rakhti nahi aur dusro ko bhi aab nahi rakhne dena hein"

He said.

" You.. "

I was about to say when Mayuri said.

"Bani there is no time to argue..Let's go.. "

She said and moved past us.

We soon drove to the hospital.

The doctor checked my hand and put a plaster in my left palm.

Mayuri was sitting outside trying to register everything that happening.
Veeranshu was inside while the doctor was plastering my palm.

"Is she better now Doctor? "

Veeranshu asked.

" Yes Mr Singhania. Within few weeks she will recover completely. "

The doctor said and Veeranshu sighed.
Soon the plaster was done and the doctor moved out.

"Tumne toh meri jaan hi nikal di.. "

Veeranshu said holding my right hand.

"I am fi.. Fine.. "

I said taking the hand out of his grasp.

" Bani maine tumhe jo aab bhi kaha.. "

He said.

"Woh sab sach tha.. "

I said completing his sentence.

He was a little taken aback. Maybe he thought that I won't believe him.

Honestly in normal circumstances I wouldn't have but I knew that if he lied the game wouldn't let him live.

" Haan.. I really do lo.. "

He said and I interrupted.

"Don't.. "

I said and he looked at me.

"Don't say that again and again.. "

I said averting my gaze from him.

"But it's the truth.. "

He said broken heartedly.

"There is one more truth Veeranshu.. And that truth is that you broke my heart. You broke my heart and crumbled it into thousand pieces. You made that girl who always idolised love into someone who started doubting herself. You made that girl's world shatter who considered you as her whole world. "

I said controlling my tears.

"I didn't mean to.. "

He said while his eyes we're watery too.

" But you did. Rishte main bas pyar kafi nahi Veeranshu. Izzat aur bharosa dono zaruri hein. Mujhe nahi pata kya wajah thi ki tumhe mujhe chorna pada .. Haan par itna zarur pata hein ki tumne mujhe itna kamzor samjha ki main humare rishte ke bure daur ko na sambhal pau."

I said looking at him.

"Ek sach aur bhi hein Bani.. Aur woh sach ye hein ki agar aap kabhi kisi se sachi mohhabat karte ho toh aap usse badi takleefon se bachate ho.. I had the choice between breaking you or this relationship and I chose to break off this relationship.. Kyunki agar tum tut jati toh main toh jeete jee mar jata.. "

He said as a tear slipped his eye.

"Veeranshu.. What do you me.. "

I was about to ask.

"BANI! VEER! "

Mayuri shouted.

"What happened Mayu..? "

I asked. I could see she was sweating.

"Wo.. Woh.. Aa.. Aakesh.. "

She said.

"Where is Aakesh..? "

Veeranshu asked.

"I was sitting here.. He went to get coffee for us and then didn't return.. "

She said.

"Oh my god.. It's his turn.. "

I said..

Author's POV

Aakesh had gone to pick two coffees. As he was about to enter the cafe, an emergency case came in the hospital.

"Please save my DAD! PLEASE!!!! "

The guy screamed helplessly.

The doctor immediately came and checked the pulse.

"Sorry but he is no more.. "

The doctor said and the boy started crying.

"Poor guy.. "

Aakesh thought.

He moved to the cafe and ordered the coffee. Though his mind was still on the guy who was heartbroken.

Aakesh and his Dad had alot of differences but he still loved his Dad alot. After losing his mother, his Dad got over involved in the business. He knew that this was his Dad's copying mechanism but this very same mechanism led to him being neglected.

"Sir Coffee.. "

Aakesh took the coffee and started moving towards the orthopaedic centre.
He was walking lost in his thoughts. He soon reached a little isolated region of the hospital. The lights were flickering. And no one was present in the area.

"Aaaa... Aaak.. Aaakesh.... "

Came a satanic whisper .

Aakesh paused. He gulped realising the intensity of the situation. Bani's and Veeranshu's words were echoing in his mind.

THE GAME IS REAL.

That's what they said.

Aakesh slowly turned around. A drop of sweat rolled down his head.

But as he turned.. He was met with thin air. No one was present.

He sighed.

"Shit.. "

Aakesh said sitting down for a moment while putting down the coffee.

But that's when the lights completely went off.

"What the hell.. "

He said aloud.

"Ye lights ko kya hua.. "

He said and stood up.

"I have to go back.. "

He thought and started moving whe suddenly he felt a warmth travelling to his right hand.

He didn't understand and looked at it .
Slowly his skin started getting warm. But with every moment the warmth started increasing. And after a point the arm started getting engulfed in fire.

"Oh my god.. Oh my godddd.. Ahhhhhhhh.. "

Aakesh shouted as the pain of burns intensified.

"Wa.. Water.. Waaterrrr... "

He said moving around and rubbing his hand on the walls.

His hand was completely on fire now.
Aakesh cried in pain as he looked at his arm in which the fire had taken a shape... And it said.

TRUTH OR DARE?

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Aakesh again shouted in pain and collided with a gate.

He got in and was now on the ground , on his knees.

Tears fell from his eyes.

But slowly and slowly he felt the fire extinguishing.

He was breathing rapidly. He closed his eyes to calm down.

"Feeling better..? "

Came a voice and Aakesh opened his eyes.....

And saw an eye amidst the dark.

"WHO ARE YOUUUUUU...?"

He said being horrified and moving back as few items fell from the table and he looked at them but as he looked back at the source of the voice no one was there.
Aakesh's heart was now beating insanely.
He immediately got up and that's when the horror struck him even more.

He realised that he was in the mortuary. All the dead bodies were around him with white cloth over them.

"I... I.. Need to leave... "

He said and tried moving out.

But to his utter dismay the the door was locked from outside.

"Somebody OPEN the door!!!! "

He shouted continuously trying to open it.

"OPEN! I AM STUCK HERE !!! "

He again shouted.

"Can I help? "

Came a voice from behind him. Aakesh paused. His whole body shivered. He couldn't dare to look back. His hand on the door's knob was shivering as well. He was sweating rigorously.

He slowly turned.

"TRUTH OR DARE AAKESH? "

It said holding his neck and lifting him above the ground.

It was the already decayed body of the man who was just declared the dead.

Bani's POV

"Veer... Mayu.. Aakesh mila? "

I said.

"No Bani.. I checked every where.. "

Veeranshu said.

" The man in cafeteria said that Aakesh did take the coffee's but after that he doesn't know.. "

Mayuri said.

"Oh my god.. He isn't lifting my calls as well"

I said holding my head as tears formed in my eyes.

"Bani we will find him.. "

Veeranshu said holding my hand. Mayuri averted her gaze and I pulled my hand out of his hold.

"We.. Can't lose Aakesh.. "

Mayuri said.

"And we won't.. That game can't Win..!"

I said wiping the tears falling from my eyes.

"Let's talk to the watchman.. He can tell us if Aakesh left the building or not.. "

I said.

We went to the security guard.

"Bhaiya aapne iss ladke ko yahan se nikalte dekha hein? "

I asked.

"Kuch yaad nahi aa raha hein.. "

The guard said.

Veeranshu immediately took out two five hundred note from his wallet.

"Abb yaad aa raha hein? "

Veeranshu asked.

"Haan.. Haan.. Sir.. Ye thode time pehele hi yahan se nikla tha ek gadi main.. "

He said.

"My car keys are with me , in which we all came here.. So that means he took a cab.. "

I said.

"Par woh gaya kahan ye kaise dhundhenge... "

Veeranshu asked

"THE TRACKER!!! "

Mayuri said.

"OH MY GOD! YESSS! "

I said.

"What tracker..? "

Veeranshu asked.

"All of us have trackers in our phone that is connected to Mayu's laptop.. "

I said.

" We should go home immediately ! "

Mayuri said and we nodded.

We immediately left for our home.

Soon we reached home.

"Guys.. Main jaa kar Laptop on karti hoon aur tracker app kholti hoon .. ".

Mayuri said and left.

Veeranshu started parking the car and I was seated beside him.

He came out of the car along with me.

" Sab thik hojayega.. "

He said.

" Bas yehi ummed hein.. "

I said.

" Ummed hi roshni hein.. Aur roshni ke rehte hum andhere se nahi harenge.. "

He said keeping a little distance between us.

I nodded being out of words.

I also felt guilty because I felt responsible for everything happening around us.
Neither I would have met Michael nor such things would have happened.

"Dare you blame yourself.. "

He said catching me off guard.

" I.. "

I was about to say when he put his index finger on my lips.

" Rishta nahi hein Bani par jaazzbat aaj bhi tumhare padh sakta hoon.. Haq nahi hein par tumhari liye apni parwah ko aaj nhi chupa sakta hoon.. "

He said and tears formed in my eyes.

"Ky.. Kyun..? "

I asked as my voice chocked.

"Kabhi kabhi humein lafzon ko nahi Khamoshiyo ko padhna padta hein.. Aur main tumhe inn Khamoshiyon ko chod kar aur kuch nahi de sakta.. "

He said and my eyebrows scrunched together with the pain and expression of longing.

"We should get in.. "

He said and started moving in when a locket fell from his back pocket.

Our locket. I had gifted him this. It had our pictures inside it.

Before he could pick it up. I picked it up. And as I opened it.. I saw that our pictures were still intact, just like they were years ago.

"Ye tumne.. "

I tried forming words.

" Tasveerein hi toh yadon ko zinda rakhti hein.. Haseen lamhon ko phir se mehsus karati hein.. "

He said looking at me with the same love, warmth and care that I saw in my Veer's eyes.

"No Bani things aren't same now. "

"Waqt badal chuka hein. "

My mind said.

"Par jaazbat badle kya..? "

My heart questioned.

"Mujhe aesa nahi lagta.. "

I said to Veeranshu and he looked at me confused.

"Mujhe tasveerein nahi pasand. Kyunki tasveer unn palon ka yaad dilati hein jo abb nahi rahe.. Woh lamhe jo kabhi wapas nahi aayenge.. Woh ehsas jo uss waqt ke baad shayad ghum ho
jayenge... "

I said as a tear slipped from his eyes.

"GUYSSS! I GOT HIS LOCATION! "

Mayuri said from the window breaking our trance.

We got in and Mayu showed us the spot.

"Oh.. I know where this is..! "

I said.

"Where? "

Mayuri asked.

"Aakesh's Dad's farmhouse..He was telling me he wanted us to go there! "

I said and I saw Veer looking away. I know he didn't really like what he heard.

"We should leave immediately"

Mayuri said.

I nodded and we started leaving.

"Bani.. "

He said and stopped.

"Mere dard se upar mere liye tumhari khushi hein. Jiss din tumne meri aakhon main aakhein dalkar keh diya ki tum kisi se pyar karti ho.. Wada karta hoon kabhi apni shakal nahi dikhaunga.. "

He said and I felt a prick in my heart . I didn't turn though and started moving.
We soon reached the farmhouse.

But as we got in we met with a scene that we couldn't have even imagined..
