Suddenly the Khaenri'ah Archon woke up in a black void and looked around wondering what happened but was worried for Diluc.

Khaenri'ah Archon : Diluc!..... Diluc where are you!?"

He then got up and started walking around unsure of where he was but started to think what if he died and this was it.

But then suddenly to his surprise he saw Kaeya sitting on the floor on his knees facing away from him not moving at all.

He tried walking towards Kaeya but was blocked by a invisible wall.

Khaenri'ah Archon : Kaeya?"

Still Kaeya didn't respond so he kept trying to his Kaeya's attention calling his name and banging on the invisible wall.

But soon Diluc showed up and the Khaenri'ah Archon asked confused but relieved.

Khaenri'ah Archon : how are you here?"

Diluc : what even is here?"

Khaenri'ah Archon : I don't know"

Diluc: is that him?"

Khaenri'ah Archon : I think that's Kaeya. But I've been trying to get his attention and he won't budge"

Diluc : you said he was in a deep sleep. Correct?"

Khaenri'ah Archon : yes.....he should be waking up if that's the case unless...."

Diluc : unless what?"

Khaenri'ah Archon: his soul has no will to live on. Which means all three of us are between life and death and we can go but not him unless we can get him to listen. Or you"

Diluc : ...... he's not dying....he can't....."

Diluc then started yelling at Kaeya to turn around and was bagging on the invisible wall as hard as he could. He already lost Kaeya once he wasn't going to let it happen again.

Diluc : Kaeya please listen! Don't you dare think about dying right now!. You have so much to live for..... your life is still worth living! damn it answer me!"

No matter what Diluc did Kaeya wouldn't budge.

Diluc then sat against the wall and said.

Diluc : I know.....I know I have done things to make you think your life is meaningless..... and I'm sorry......I know I was never there for you or listened .......but I'm here now and I won't leave you again.

Even if that means dying with you I won't leave you alone. Your my brother your the only family I have left.....heh....even in death you'll still gonna be a pain in my ass....."

The Khaenri'ah Archon watched Diluc except death to be with Kaeya. He found it amazing and sweet how much diluc cared about Kaeya. How strong their brotherly bond seemed to be.

It felt familiar to him also.

Suddenly Kaeya woke up in a bed And was extremely confused until he suddenly remembered what happened and looked around for Diluc.

Kaeya : where's Diluc!?"

Aether : he's over there in the next room but. Kaeya y-

Kaeya quickly got up and ran over to the room despite being hurt and saw Diluc unconscious in bed looking just as bad as him.

He then saw Zhongil standing in the room seeming to be watching Diluc.

Zhongil :he will live but it's unsure when he'll wake up"

Kaeya : what..... what's been happening?"

Khaenri'ah Archon : I can help explain as best as I can"

Khaenri'ah Archon said walking into the room in their own body and still resembling Kaeya.

After a couple minutes of talking Kaeya felt like a sorta understood what was happening and was remembering a little bit of everything.

Khaenri'ah Archon : I suppose due to you waking up something happened to make us split"

Kaeya : so I wasn't dreaming...... Diluc meant what he said?......he was really going to die with me?"

Khaenri'ah Archon : yes but you finally heard him in the end"

Kaeya : .....I thought it was just a dream or something.....but he was actually there...."

Khaenri'ah Archon : I'm sure he'll wake up. I honestly doubt that fall would kill him....which is scary?"

Kaeya : that is Diluc"

Zhongil : I will leave you alone with your brother"

Khaenri'ah Archon : as will I you just focus on Diluc"

They both then left the room leaving Kaeya alone with Diluc.

Later Kaeya was bored sitting in a chair next to diluc's bed so he got real close to Diluc's face to scare him when he woke up.
And the second Diluc woke up he immediately head butt Kaeya on accident.

And as Kaeya sat back in his chair rubbing his head Diluc said.

Diluc : damn it what the hell is wrong with you!?"

Kaeya : I wanted my face to be the first thing you saw when you wake up"

Diluc : why would I want to see your face!?"

Kaeya : who wouldn't?"

Diluc : me you idiot!"

Kaeya : you getting mad proves your perfectly fine"

Diluc : ......."

Kaeya : so a-!?

Diluc then hugged him which caught Kaeya off guard but didn't stop him and not like he could with how tight Diluc was hugging him .

Diluc : .......don't pull that shit again......"

Kaeya : .......only if you don't......"

Kaeya hugged him back while Diluc would let him. Both we're glad the other was alive.

Meanwhile in the hallway Khaenri'ah Archon was watching them his heart only finding the interaction more familiar.

Khaenri'ah Archon : Morax....."

Zhongil : yes?"

Khaenri'ah Archon. : did I ever have family? Or someone special like that in my life?"
