Two days later as mondstat was still recovering from the attack from the abyss order. Dainsleif  and the others were keeping an eye on the khaenri'ah archon who was quiet yet Did whatever he could to help.

But today they went looking for  him as Klee told them she saw them walking into the forest.

And as they were looking around they started hearing singing like a lullaby and it strangly sounded familiar to Dainsleif.

They then followed it and saw the khaenri'ah archon sitting down on a log at a tiny hilichurl camp singing a lullaby while there was hilichurls around asleep on the ground and one next to the khaenri'ah archon with their head asleep on their lap.

Paimon : well you don't see that everyday?"

Jean : what are you doing?"

Khaenri'ah archon  : the constant pain and agony they suffer each second of  being alive like this.....I can feel it....I can hear them screming....I can see their memories that they can't remember.......I can't do much for them but at least I can give them a peaceful sleep....

They like the lullaby.....I wonder if these hilichurls used to be kids....."

Dainsleif  : where did you hear that song?"

Khaenri'ah archon : when   your great great grandmother was young she would sing it to your grandmother.

I saw her on my walks through khaenri'ah I liked the song so I kept it in mind....and they like it to"

Dainsleif  : .....how do you know so much about me?"

Khaenri'ah  : I don't know I just always knew all information of khaenri'ah and it's people.....sometimes I didn't feel like an archon and just felt like a spy on my own nation"

Diluc : what if that was always their intention? And never intended for you to be khaenri'ah's archon?"

Khaenri'ah archon  : ......I guess that would make sense....what a cruel thing that would be....."

Klee : you look sad....I know what could help!"

Khaenri'ah archon  : hmm? What do you suggest Klee?"

Khaenri'ah  archon  : oh? I suppose if that will make you happy little Klee"

Later in the nighttime as the khaenri'ah archon was sitting by the tree Venti and Dainsleif showed up separately both seeming to want to talk to the khaenri'ah archon.

Venti : ya seem upset?"

Khaenri'ah archon  : .....I believe what Diluc said is true.....I was meant to be a spy for khaenri'ah.....in the end I was the one who destroyed it...."

Venti : it wasn't your fault you didn't know...."

Khaenri'ah archon  :  I should have known......"

Dainsleif  : you are surprisingly calm about this whole thing. Why is that?"

Khaenri'ah archon  : I don't know?"

Dainsleif  : you don't feel the need or have thought about destroying the other nations as revenge"

Khaenri'ah archon  : I be lying if I said it hasn't cross my mind.....but I wouldn't do that.

These innocent people had nothing to do with it. And as for the archons they were just doing their job celestial would have done to their nation as what they did to mine.

But I agree celestial needs to be put to an end. But the war isn't worth the risks. In the end going to war now will only end like khaenri'ah"

Venti : seems like you thought of everything"

Khaenri'ah archon  : I've always had a good insight on things. But he said it was because I had too big of a heart a heart and not fit for war"

Venti : who said that?"

Dainsleif  : is it wise for you to travel?"

Khaenri'ah archon  : I'll be fine"
