Today in mondstat everyone was on high alert as a fight was about to break out.

Right now creatures from the abyss were coming near mondstat ready to attack and all of the knights were on the front lines guarding mondstat while others tried to protect the citizens of mondstat.

And during this Aether and paimon suddenly arrived with Dainsleif after dealing with the abyss order somewhere else and Aether asked seeing Jean helping citizens to safety.

Aether : what's happening here?"

Jean : we don't know but the abyss is getting ready to attack mondstat. Kaeya is on the front line helping the knights get ready"

Paimon : Dainsleif why are they doing this?"

Dainsleif : i do not know but we need to keep them back"

And before anyone could say anything else they heard the fight start and they immediately went to help protect mondstat.

Later during the fight the winds were incredibly strong this day and seemed to be keeping back the abyss creatures from The Favonius Cathedral where the citizens
Of mondstat were hiding.

So unknown to everyone Venti was doing his part to help. While the knights were fighting the abyss and even others were helping like Diluc who was keeping an eye on Kaeya and helped him as he was almost hit by an abyss harald and knocked down.

Diluc : get up"

Kaeya : oh so you do care?"

Diluc : you need to watch were your goin-!?

Suddenly Diluc was knocked away by an abyss harald hitting a wall.

Kaeya : DILUC!!"

Kaeya quickly got up rushing over to Diluc but he didn't get far as he was suddenly stabbed through the chest with a sword.

And felt to knees dropping to the ground in front of Diluc.
And as the abyss harald moved to somewhere else Diluc ran to Kaeya and fell to his knees trying to help him up.

Diluc : no no come on!"

Kaeya: heh....this really hurts....."

Diluc : come on let's get you u-

Kaeya : I can't feel my body......"

Diluc: you'll be okay i....we just need t...."

As Diluc began to panic Kaeya started to lose dying and Saud.

Kaeya : .....keep.....helping....
help protect mondstat.....brother......"

Suddenly Kaeya stopped breathing and was dead and Diluc wasn't sure what to do but was beyond angry and got Kaeya's body away from the fight before joining it showing no mercy.

Everyone has seen what happened and Was sad but had to keep fighting. And watched Diluc fighting the abyss creatures seeming pissed off and not caring about his own life.

But as the fight went on it was clear mondstat wasn't winning thus and some were starting to lose hope.

Until suddenly a brightdark blue light of an unknown element started glowing. changing the color of the sky and clouds above. Then suddenly portals to the abyss opened and started dragging the abyss creatures in.

And as everyone watched this happen they saw Kaeya walking closer to them but he also didn't look like Kaeya anymore something seemed different besides the outfit change.

He seemed to be forcing the abyss creatures back and the one controlling the portals.

And once they were gone the sky returned to normal and everyone was now saved yet some confused how Kaeya stopped it.

Aether paimon and Dainsleif then ran over and asked.

Aether : Kaeya?"

Unknown : take care of everyone first. Then meet me by the tree...."

And with that he was gone and no one knew what to think.

Later they went to the tree along with Diluc Jean and Venti all wanting to know what happened.

And they saw Kaeya walking around the tree and just admiring the view of everything.

Dainsleif : you are not Kaeya are you?"

Unknown : I'm not"

Diluc : where is Kaeya"

Unknown : alive he's healing in a sleep like state he will wake up soon I promise"

Jean : what are you?"

Unknown : ......I was originally the archon of khaenri'ah and was for 200 years"

Dainsleif : how is that Possible?"

Khaenri'ah archon : the heavenly principles wanted to have hold on the nation like the rest and made an archon to act as it's ruler.

I saw khaenri'ah thriving on it's own. I saw I wasn't needed so I never went through with their wishes. I didn't want to intrude.

But the heavenly principles found out and I tried to reason with them but in the end I was executed by an archon in a battle.

But in a way I was able to reincarnate myself into a human. Yet I'm completely separate from kaeya think of it like being possessed like a ghost"

Paimon : oh Ei has a similar thing going on"

Jean : what triggered you come out now?"

Khaenri'ah archon : Kaeya dying I was dormant until that.
But like I said he's healing I'm healing him. Once he wakes I'll give him back control over his body."

Diluc : just Luke that?"

Khaenri'ah archon : of course. I don't wish to intrude anymore on his life than I already have"

Dainsleif : it's too late for that. The abyss order could come after him now"

Khaenri'ah archon : than I'll assist on helping with that situation. It's the least I can do"

Paimon : even though they were once your own people?"

Khaenri'ah archon : ......I understand the situation.....I do feel bad for what befell the nation of khaenri'ah. And I deserve all the blame for it"

Aether : why?"

Khaenri'ah archon : maybe if I did as told khaenri'ah would have lived. But I thought I was doing right by khaenri'ah."

Dainsleif : I doubt they would have let khaenri'ah lived. it already knew too much and was advanced beyond anything.

It was deemed a threat by them. that they thought they could control. Either way the end would be the same"

Paimon : can't imagine how bad you must feel....."

Khaenri'ah archon : unbearable.....but I can at least continue to help now"

Jean : thank you for what you did"

Dainsleif : you can open portals to the abyss?"

Khaenri'ah archon : yes but it's probably not wise I do it again. But I'll help mondstat if they return"

Venti : ......I got a question.....why don't I remember you?"

Khaenri'ah archon : I only met the rest of the archons on a handful of times. And the heavenly principles erased me from the world of teyvat"

Venti : another question. Who executed you?"

Khaenri'ah archon : .......my memory is rusty I have been dormant for over 500 years"

Paimon : wait......doesn't that make Kaeya really old?"

Khaenri'ah archon : I suppose it does?. Maybe it has to do about his situation"

Diluc: what situation?"

Khaenri'ah archon : Kaeya was originally Named caribert and turned into a hilichurl during the destruction of khaenri'ah but his father worked long to reverse the effects and once he did he left at the dawn winery before he died"

Paimon : wow....that's a lot of information...."

Diluc : does he remember this?"

Khaenri'ah archon : no but maybe it would be time to tell him once he's done healing"
