Chapter 3
Minhyun bit his lower lip and looked at his phone. He wasn't sure if the other had meant it. He was never a nervous person, unless it involved new people. He wasn't scared of bullies such as Jinhwan and Junhoe, he just didn't like violence and negative relationships. But this was making him more nervous than ever. If he texted the other would the other actually respond? Maybe Minki had even forgotten who he was by now. The girl, who might've been his girlfriend, was probably crying because Minki had left her at lunch to sit with him... Did this make sense?
"Hey."
Minhyun jumped up startled to find the long haired boy behind him.
"I told you to text me, did you forget?" The boy pouted showing his adorable cute pink lips.
"N-No, I was about to?" Minhyun studdered looking around and pushing up his glasses. He noticed a few strange glances but ignored them.
"Ah, okay. I believe you then. Alright so should we start on the project today or?"
"I don't mind at all, anything is fine with me."
Minki chuckled. "You are so passive. Alright so, is the weekend fine?"
"Sure. No problem."
"Cool and um.. My house is literally too small, is it ok if we go to your house?" Minki says slightly embarrassed which confused Minhyun a little.
"Yeah, I don't mind."
"Really?! You're awesome, why have I waited so long to be friends with you seriously!"
"Huh?"
"Oh, uh-"
"Hey Minki,"
Minki rolled his eyes knowing who was coming his way.
"What do you want Junhoe?"
"You." Junhoe said making Minhyun feel shivers. This was too cringe worthy.
"Ugh, don't be nasty go back to your girlfriend before she throws a tantrum."
"My girlfriend?"
"Mm, you're right. I meant your elf wife Jinhwan and the many hoes that come along with that."
"Mm, can you be one of my hoes than?"Junhoe smirked bringing his face dangerously close to Minki's.
"Not in this lifetime." Minki shuddered. Minhyun cleared his throat. He grabbed the hint, he wasn't slow.
"Um, Minki I'm going to leave you two. I'll see you this weekend then. "
"N-No Minhyun, let's walk home together."
"Junhoe!" Jinhwan's voice resonated through the hallway.
"Minki I see your type now." Junhoe grinned.
"Call me if you want to discuss your new hobbies."
Minki rolled his eyes and kept walking dragging Minhyun behind. They had walked till the school was out of sight and Minhyun wasn't exactly sure where they were heading at this point anymore.
"Um..Minki.."
"What?"
"W-Well.. where are we going?"
"What?" Minki stopped abruptly and looked back at Minhyun who was looking back at him in confusion.
"Oh. Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I was walking towards home and forgot I was holding your wrist I'm so sorry I got frustrated."
Minhyun smiles softly.
"It's alright. You didn't mean to."
Minki stared at Minhyun in silence.
"Hey, want to come have tea at my house before you go back home." he stated after a few seconds of silence.
"Eh? Tea?"
"Yeah, I mean it's cold, we've walked this far...And we're literally at my house in two minutes if we take the bus so..."
"Sure, that's fine."
Minki smiled slightly and gripped Minhyun's wrist leading him to the bus stop. They took the bus to arrive his house.
His house was the opposite of what Minhyun imagined. It wasn't huge, it wasn't fancy, nor modern or anything. It was small and simple.
"Do you live here alone?" Minhyun asked curiously as they entered the small apartment complex.
Minki smiled as they took their shoes off at the entrance.
"No, I live with my grandmother. She is probably asleep right now. Do not be afraid if you hear an old lady talking, she's not a ghost, it's my grandmother sleep talking." Minki chuckles as Minhyun tries to follow him into the house as quietly as possible.
The house was small. it contained a small HD TV a couch a little cuisine and two bedrooms. Minhyun liked how clean it looked and smelled. Not just of detergent, it smelled like a home should.
"I'll go make the tea, you can sit down."
Minhyun nodded and sat down awkwardly on the couch. He looked around seeing a few picture frames here and there. He noticed a frame of a head which looked quite familiar. Milk skin, same cat eyes and heart shaped lips. Minhyun smiled to himself.
"Here's the tea." Minki grinned proudly bringing a tray with two cups of tea.
"Ah, thank." Minhyun smiles grabbing one gratefully.
Minhyun awkwardly tilted the tea towards his mouth under the watchful eyes of the pretty boy. He took a sip and repressed the need to frown.
"Ah, it's hot." is all he could say smiling awkwardly.
"Yeah, of course. It's tea." Minki chuckled taking the other cup and taking a sip.
"And you forgot to mention that the tea was terrible." Minki chuckled, frowning at the taste of his own tea.
"Maybe I should stick to hot chocolate."
"Sorry.. but at least it'll warm me up." Minhyun smiles hopefully.
"Tsk, you're probably a better sweet talker than Junhoe at this point." Minki chuckled. At the mention of the others name Minhyun frowned slightly.
"Are you guys like... flirting?"
Minki sighed.
"Not exactly.. He is just a butthole...who actually likes bothering me." Minki snorted
Minhyun frowned. Who wouldn't be attracted to him? Plus it looked like Junhoe gave him intimate looks.
"But.. If he liked you, you would date him, am I correct?"
"Mm..Don't think I'll go down that road. Nope."
"I see.."
"Anyways, enough about that hoe, let's talk about other stuff." Minki smiled.
Minhyun nodded and took another sip of the bitter tea.
