Diagon Alley had always been an amazing, and wonderful place.
Once they got in, they all left each other's sides, and started walking off in separate directions.
Emmeline walked towards Flourish and Blotts (She was obsessed with books, and reading).
Nicolas ran as fast as he could to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour which had a big statue of ice cream on the front, with a colorful sign underneath that read 'Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour'.
Kendra walked towards Gringotts Wizarding Bank which had several white pillars, and huge doors, with a sign engraved 'Gringotts Bank' at the top.
When she stepped inside, everything was gleaming.
The golden chandelier above her head as she walked inside was intimidating, even more so, the Goblins working there.
Kendra had been in Gringotts many times before, but this was the first time she went without her parents.
"Name please?" A grumpy looking Goblin said, peering over her half moon shaped glasses to look at Kendra.
"What?" Kendra asked, slightly taken back by the question.
"What is you'r name?" The Goblin said, with a tone of irritation in her voice.
"Oh, Kendra Boardman." She said, understanding what she was being asked.
"Key." The Goblin continued, holding out her hand.
Kendra rummaged through her pockets, looking for the key to her vault, and she finally found it in her right pocket to her jacket.
She handed it to the Goblin, and the Goblin snatched it out of her hands. "Follow me." It said, walking off towards a long passage way.
Soon, they were at Kendra's vault.
There was so much gold in there, it made Kendra's eyes hurt.
She took large handfuls at a time, filling her bag, dangling from her side.
When she was done, she continued to Flourish and Blotts, where her mother was still in there, reading what looked like a book Kendra had to get for Hogwarts.
"Mom," Kendra asked, as she slowly walked up to her. "What are you reading?" Gesturing to the book Emmeline had in her hands.
"Fantastic and all that such...." Emmeline muttered, her voice trailed off, proceeding to read. "These creatures, they're just fascinating. Almost as fascinating as studding plants." She slammed the book shut before she started talking again.
"Well, here you go darling," Emmeline handed her the book. "What else do you need to get now?"
"Uh," Kendra said, pulling out the list of things to get, and scanning over everything. "The rest of my books, and owl, robes, and, a wand." Kendra said, looking up.
"Okay honey, I will get the rest of you'r books, and robes. You go on, to Ollivanders, and get you'r wand." Emmeline said, running up and down the isles of Flourish and Blotts, stopping at some books.
Kendra walked out of Flourish and Blotts, proceeding to Ollivanders.
Ollivanders was a small shop, but had many wands inside.
"Hello," Kendra said, opening the door slightly, to see if anybody was inside. "Is this-" "Why, yes it is." A strange voice called from above.
A man with a crooked nose slid past the shelves, to get a better look at Kendra. "Oh, Kendra Boardman, is that right?" He said eyeing her.
Kendra nodded, too scared to say anything. "I-I'm h-here to g-get m-m-my wand." She stammered.
"Okay! No need to be shy Kendra. So, I see you'r going to Hogwarts, is that right?" He said looking through the boxes full of wands. "Ah, here's a good one. Try it." He said, gesturing to the wand he set on the counter.
Kendra picked it up, and gave it a flick, along with five others.
"No, no, no. Ah! Now, here is a good one. Go ahead." He said once more, gesturing to the new wand.
Kendra slowly picked up the wand, and gave it a flick.
This time, instead of knocking something off a shelve, it started emitting a light blue light.
"Yes, yes. This is it." He said, taking the wand back to wrap it. "Rowan Wood, 12 1⁄4", and slightly yielding flexibility, yes. Keep this, and this." He said, handing her the wand, and a piece of paper holding the information about the wand.
"Okay, thanks." She said. "Off to find a pet."
