The weather this morning felt so cold. So I decided to put on my sweater. I felt at ease knowing the apology letter is ready.

"Lily, Lily." My voice echoed as I shouted through the hall.

"What?." She shouted back.

"I'm done with my letter." I replied.
      Immediately, Christopher appeared in the door way.

"Hey. Feeling happy this morning?."

"Yeah."

"You look cute, you should smile more often."
    After he said that, Lily's eyes widened. It seems he realised what he just said because he was repeatedly avoiding my gaze.

"I guess I should leave you two for sometime." Lily said.
   I thought she was joking, until she stood up. I held onto her skirt. She pushed my hands off. I just stood with Christopher and my eyes were glued to the floor.

Christopher's pov

I just couldn't take my eyes off Kelly yesterday. I am sure she didn't notice because she was so engrossed in writing the apology letter.

When I got to school, I headed straight to the lab because all my classmates were there. I scanned a little to see, maybe just maybe if I would find Kelly. But I got a little disappointed. I grabbed a stool and I couldn't comprehend why Sandy was staring at me. Yes, I'm handsome but I wish someone else could look at me like that. I sat there for up to five minutes talking with my class mates. I finally stood up as I could no longer bear the intense stare from Sandy.

   While on my way, I heard someone shouting

"Lily, Lily." And I quickly turned to the direction of her sweet, loving voice. Don't take me serious oh! Though her voice is nice.

"I'm  done with the letter." I heard her say.

"Feeling happy this morning?." I asked

"Yeah."

"You look cute, you should smile more often." I said

Lily cast a glance at me as she wore a surprised look.

"I should give you two sometime."

   Why was she leaving. No, no, no. Don't leave. I thought helplessly. Kelly grabbed her and she just shoved her hand away.
  There was an awkward silence as lily left. Kelly kept on looking down. I wanted to just leave, but something made me to move towards her direction. I kept on moving. It felt as though she was contemplating on whether to move backwards or not. I took another step and she suddenly shifted back and that's when I stopped. She was literally shaking like mad!

"It's almost time for the morning gathering. Practice reading the apology letter again. See you later."
  I stood close to the door of the classroom and I could hear her heaving a sigh of relief.

It was time for the morning gathering.

"Kelly." The principal called out. I didn't need anyone to tell me the reason I was called. I stepped forward

"Good morning everyone. I stand before this great audience of schleiden's Academy to die!! Well not practically die but never mind, never mind....I couldn't help but control the laughter that built up in me.

"I stand before this great audience to read out an apology letter to my teacher. To those who may not fully understand what I am saying, let me explain. I happened to disrespect my history teacher, Mr Calvin. And every one here knows that disrespecting a teacher is akin to suspension." I stopped to catch my breath.

"Go on." The principal urged.

"Here goes my letter. Mr Calvin, my history teacher. You have been a good teacher and my attitude towards you was absolutely wrong. So I plead  with you, to find a place in your tiny but big heart to forgive me. I'm also assuring the disciplinary committee as well as the principal that this behaviour of mine won't repeat itself. Once more, I am deeply sorry."

"Wonderfully said." The principal commented.

"Everyone, I hope you all h...

"Wait!." I said and everyone stopped talking and all eyes were on me.

"I have said what is being written on a paper, but it's different from what is in my heart."

"What do you mean?." One of the woman from the disciplinary committee said.

  I ignored the woman who said that and turned to Mr Calvin.

"Mr Calvin, you know something. I loved and still love history. But a person like you doesn't deserve to teach it because you are nothing but a piece of trash and...

"Kelly keep quiet!." The principal banged her hand on the table.

"Did you also inform the disciplinary committee that Mr Calvin here slapped a student. I don't think you did because if you did, he would have been suspended. Isn't it?."

"I said keep quiet. Do you even know what you are saying? He didn't slap any girl. Please this way." She was about leading the disciplinary committee to her office when...

"Well, for your information, I just said he slapped a student. I never said he slapped a girl but you went ahead to say he didn't slap any girl, when I didn't even mention the gender. So how did you know it was a girl?."

"Kelly. He didn't slap anyone."

"He did. I am the girl. He slapped me twice. Not once but twice." Lily raised her hands signifying two.

   The morning gathering ended in chaos. The disciplinary committee looked into the matter more and found out  that the principal tried to hide the fact that Mr Calvin slapped Lily. He was suspended for two weeks and I was suspended for three weeks.
