HotHeaded
{Keith X Altean Goddess! Reader}
Keith struggled to fight off sentries as they were quickly outnumbering him, he swung his sword and penetrated one, pulling his blade out and slicing another's head off.
He used his shield to block any attacks, having many close calls and almost getting hurt. The Red Paladin started to have second thoughts about this mission to receive the Red Lion.
Everything went smoothly until his doubts got the best of him. Once he had found the Red Lion, she wouldn't lower the luminescent barrier. The longer he stayed trying to convince her to open up, she never faltered, thus the Galra sentries came and he got into this whole mess.
"C'mon Red! I'm your pilot, let me in!" Keith grunted as his feet where swiped out from under him, making him fall to his back and dropping his Bayard. The sentry pointed it's gun point blank to his forehead. Right before the sentry had a chance to pull the trigger, the giant robotic lion roared and stood up, making the ground rumble and the sentry loose it's balance, falling over and pulling the trigger, shooting at another sentry by accident.
Red leaned down and opened her mouth, welcoming her pilot. Keith was quick to jump on his feet and rush towards his lion, picking up his Bayard while more lasers fired past him.

"What took you so long?! We almost died of boredom waiting for you!" Lance pulled his helmet off whilst walking into the control room of the castle, where everyone had gathered. Keith crossed his arms and sent a glare at the Cuban.
"The Red Lion didn't want to open up for me. Wasn't my fault I took so long." The half Galran muttered.
There was a loud clatter that resounded from outside the control room interuppting everyone, making them turn their heads.
"Di-Did everyone hear that? Or was that just me?" Hunk spoke up, fidgeting nervously.
"Nope, We heard it." Pidge replied.
"I say we check it out." Shiro suggested and everyone nodded besides Hunk who only gulped nervously. Poor boy.
They all followed the source of the noise that led to the kitchen.
Shiro was first to peek his head and saw a woman reaching for one of the cabinets that were too far up from her reach. Plates and food goo scattered all over the floor. The woman got hold of the cabinet and opened it, it was empty. She sighed and slammed it shut, jumping down from the counter.
She turned around and all the Paladins got a perfect view of her face, she had {F/C} Altean markings on her cheekbones, vibrant {E/C} eyes, and {S/C} skin decorated with beautiful faded scars all shapes and sizes. She wore an unpigmented colored peplo that draped over her stature. The Paladins' jaws dropped on sight of her.
She looked up and her eyes narrowed into a hard glare, she raised her hand and a beautiful sword appeared in her hand.
"Who are you? Show yourselves." She comanded with a thick but alluring accent, there was so much authority in her voice yet it seemed so soft in a way.
The five Paladins stepped into view and once Keith made eye contact with her, she lowered her sword. "Oh hello Keith, Paladin of the Red Lion. I'm sure you are aware of who I am." She smirked and he nodded slowly, the four Paladins stared at him and the stranger with wide eyes.
Her sword dissipated and she crossed her arms jutting her hip out in a sassy manner, a smug look on her face.
"So, you all must be the Paladins of new. I must say you are a very diverse bunch, quite small though." She eyed all of them and her gaze paused at Keith, his face contorted in confusion and amazement.
"Keith, who is this? How do you know her?" Shiro asked as the Goddess turned around to search through the cabinets.
"This is the soul of the Red Lion, _________, she's an Altean Goddess of war and wisdom." He replied.
"I wonder how she's still alive..." He nearly whispered, she let out a small giggle and turned around to face them again, making Keith nearly jump out of his skin.
"I'm immortal, gods and goddesses don't die you silly mortals." __________ moved a strand of hair out of her face and looked at the mess of goo before her.
"Is this all you eat? This disgusting unnutrient filled goo? No wonder you all are so small and scrawny!" She grabbed a cup from the counter and walked over to pour herself a drink.
"Hey! I'm not scrawny! And I'm twice your height!" Lance defended and __________ sent a glare that could kill. He cowered behind Hunk and shivered slightly.
"How did you get here? And where's my Lion?" Keith asked as she poured herself some Nunvil, chugging it down. "Your lion is in the same place sweetheart." She said the last part in a sarcastic tone, that book did not lie when it said she had a hotheaded personality. "And I'm the life force of your lion, I could easily just get out and get back in whenever and wherever." She served herself more of the beverage and took a few sips.
"How long have you even been in that lion?" Pidge asked while tilting her head to the side in curiosity.
"About 13,700 years." She finished her second cup of Nunvil and set the empty cup beside her. Wow she was pretty tough.
"Now is there any other food choices on this ship besides... that...?" She pointed at the goo on the floor.
"I'm way ahead of you." Hunk's eyes lit up as he began to rummage through the cabinets to make something for the famished war goddess. "Thankyou... Hunk." She smiled softly and the Yellow Paladin smiled back warmly, a little taken aback that she knew his name without him having to introduce himself.

The Paladins decided to join __________ at the table as she ate, they all discussed quietly so they wouldn't disturb her meal.
"How did you meet her? Through your lion?"
"Is she really a Goddess?"
"She's hot~... Ow!"
Keith smacked Lance in the back of his head after whispering that comment. They all dared not to make eye contact while she ate, she was pretty intimidating.
Once she was done with her meal, she sighed in content.
"I must say that's the best meal I've had in a millenia. Thankyou Brave One." _________ smiled warmly at Hunk and he was bashful.
"So are the other Lions able to do that?" Shiro asked and the Goddess raised a brow.
"What do you mean by 'that?'" She pushed the empty plate forward to rest her hands on the table.
"Are they able to get out of their lions like you?" The Green Paladin asked.
"I don't know, most likely but I'm pretty sure they're comfortable with where they're at." Her eyes scanned the Paladins, Keith thought she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid eyes on.
Lance noticed Keith having eyes for _________, so he nudged him slightly whilst giving him a smug smile.
"So Keith, seems like you got the hots for ___-." The Blue Paladin was interuppted by Keith covering his mouth.
Keith retracted his hand quickly and wiped it on his thigh, a disgusted look on his face. "Lance did you seriously just lick my hand?! That's gross!" The Cuban smiled smugly and opened his mouth for a comeback before Shiro butted in.
"Alright, that's enough you two." A giggle across the room made all the Paladins look over at __________ who was covering her mouth from laughing out loud.
"How are you all a team? It's quite amusing watching you all bicker instead of working together." She wiped the corner of her eye and made eye contact with Keith. She was growing an interest in him.
"Though I must admit... you are all quite interesting, expecially you." She referred to the Red Paladin, there was something about him that she wanted to know more of. He seemed like a very reserved person, not much of an open book. She knew he was different from the others in more than one ways, perhaps it was from where he descended.
"Well, looks like I'll take my leave then." __________ stood up and started out the dining room. "The Red Lion needs me, it was quite the pleasure meeting you all in person." She began to walk out the door and towards the direction of the hangars.
The Paladins stood there dumbfounded except for Keith, who ran after her.
"__________! Wait!"
The Goddess turned around and saw the paladin jog up to her, stopping in front of her.
He was at least one or two inches taller than her, she looked up at him, a spark of interest in her burning eyes.
"Yes?" Her voice was smooth like honey, flowing like a melody in his ears.
"Is it true? Everything in that book about you?" He asked and she nodded with a smirk on her face.
"Even about you never losing or surrendering a single war?" He asked again and she nodded.
"But what about the war against the Galra Empire and Altea?" Something snapped in her, a feeling of dread settled in her stomach. Keith noticed something flicker within her hues, like something inside her was conflicting. He began to feel regret and guilt until she shook her head.
"That will be a story for another time. It's a very complicated subject." Her words were soft, yet her head was still held high, unfazed. She was a very strong individual, it seemed as if the universe couldn't drag her down which was probably one of the reasons she was and still is one of the most courageous Goddesses.
"I look forward to our future missions together, I've grown a liking to you. Keith." She leaned in and planted a firm but gentle kiss on his right cheek. His face reddened as she pulled away, smiling before flipping her hair and turning on her heel. Continuing her way down the corridors.
Keith stood there watching her retreating figure, his fingertips grazing the skin where she had kissed.
