-Slowness; Angie has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer, and one may even go as far as to call her dumb. In a way, think of Karen Smith (which she strangely looks alike) from Mean Girls and Phoebe Buffay from Friends meeting and having a love child together. Voilà, you get Evangeline Mikaelson!

-Carefree; she's rarely serious, and tends to do whatever she wants whenever she wants while holding an intriguing mental outlook in life. It's never her intention to annoy or even harm anyone due to it, but sometimes that's the case.

-Pushover; she's way too forgiving most--if not all--the time. Even if someone who crossed her before deserves total Hell, she would still find it in herself to try being the bigger person to have mercy and simply forget then move on.

-Physical weakness; don't get it wrong, she is very healthy. Although, when it comes down to fighting, she most likely will lose. She doesn't have too much strength to fend enemies off.

-Perception; she has always been quite observant of her surroundings and the people around her, thus most of the times she knows exactly how to blend in and/or handle nearly any dire situation. She may even come across as somewhat psychic at times.

-Persuasion; she is not a manipulative person, per say, but she's certainly skilled on how to get her way should it ever be necessary. She amps up the charm and eloquence, but can also be rather persistent.

-Sympathy; she can be pretty emotional, and is able to connect and understand a lot of things on a much deeper and possibly significant level. So much so that too comfortable folks often just end up spilling their issues or feelings to her without them even realizing it, and may confess valuable information as well.

-Gun handling; she isn't a pro, by any means, but she keeps a stash of guns carefully hidden just in case. She practices with them a bit in secret when she can, but will only use the weapons for defense should it ever come down to it.

|PERSONALITY|
Angie is an open book. She is the literal saying of 'what you see is what you get'. She's as genuine as she can be, and extremely free spirited. She often has her head in the clouds, and has a quirky habit of blurting out the most random and weirdest thoughts at any given moment making her stand out.

She is super fun to be around, though, and is friendly and approachable. She has a golden heart, and just an overall sweetie in general. She is really kind and patient to everyone she meets, and has garnered a fair amount of admirers with her angelic attitude matching her beautiful face and as such many are greatly fascinated by her as well. She seems almost too pure and otherworldly, and is perceived as a true gem.

It's like there's not a single bad bone on the petite blonde, and she has tons of love and warmth to offer. She is vastly selfless to a fault, and puts others first before her own. But as a result, it unfortunately leaves her widely vulnerable for further bullets to be fired over and over again.

Behind her bright and cheerful smile is actually a lonely and lost young woman. She's been broken on far too many occasions, yet she still keeps on going with a confident spring in her step.

|BACKGROUND|
Angie is an orphan, and has been placed in countless different foster homes. However, she never clicked with any of them no matter how much she tried. She was never abused or anything horrid like that, but none can accept her unique persona which left her outcasted.

Ultimately, that's why she decided to drop school. Her grades were awful, anyways, and she was made the laughing stock of students so she saw no point to it. When she turned eighteen, that's when she finally claimed her independence. Which she absolutely loved, and she made a living off of performing. That way, she's able to work on what she's passionate about while having the added bonus of earning money for it with no one and nothing else restricting her.

Eventually, she met Ezra Mikaelson after a small gig at a bar. He bought her a drink, and they instantly hit it off as they chatted the rest of the night away. Before long, though, Angie discovered Ezra's true colours. As it turns out, he's a lackey for one of the city's most dangerous underground mafia gangs.

But Angie didn't care. She was blinded by love, and firmly believed that she knew Ezra as an equal human being and not a notorious criminal. And so, as more time passed, they tied the knot.

It was then that they had Gracelynn, or Gracie for short. For a while, Angie was overjoyed. She now possesses the happy family she's always dreamed of, and she couldn't be more content.

But that perfect image soon shattered when they started to go through financial problems, and Ezra was having troubles with his gang and the suspicious police. Angie did everything she could to help, but nothing worked. Then, everything completely changed when Ezra threw his first punch.

He began to take out all his frustrations on Angie, growing increasingly bitter and off the rails everyday. And right after every beating and tending to her harsh injuries, he would always use the old trick of faking a teary apology and promising her that it would never happen again. And Angie, immensely scared and naive, forgave him each time.

She finally came to her senses when Ezra pointed his attention to Gracie one day, and that was the last straw. He can hurt Angie all that he wanted, but NEVER her precious daughter. And that was when she snapped, which seems like an impossible feat to those who know Angie well. But she did, and she walked right out of that damn house on the same day hastily dragging Gracie and a couple of heavy bags along with her. Neither of them had any plans, but it was so much better than being stuck with a monster. Not a minute goes on that Angie doesn't regret having so foolishly fallen for Ezra.

Although, deep down she knew that her psychotic ex-husband wouldn't just let her off so easily. She knew that he'd come after her, so until then she and Gracie do their very best to attempt staying low.

Angie was hardworking, sometimes to the point of fainting. She didn't know her limits, but she didn't care. She desperately needed to provide for her daughter, and most importantly to make sure that Gracie has a good future. That was all that mattered.

Luckily, both of their lives made a turn for the better when Angie managed to have landed a permanent job at a renowned club. It's a bit shady, yes, but the hours are flexible and the pay is good. And all she had to do is come in several nights a week and pose as a pretty little songbird, capturing the drunken crowd with her resonating music.

All of a sudden, that was when she met Carlisle. Their encounter was brief and nothing but unexpected, yet forever imprinted in Angie's mind like a nagging itch. And there was no way she could ever forget him, especially when Carlisle shares some similar features to her ex. She was frozen right on the spot when her gaze first locked on Carlisle as the faint strobelights danced upon his face, thinking it was Ezra for a few dreadful seconds before confirming it wasn't.

Since then, Angie tries to avoid Carlisle anytime he comes by. She'd shoot him a polite smile and perhaps some small talk, but that would be it which is totally unlike her character. Of course, she knows that he isn't actually Ezra though the pain and constant reminder is too much for her. Still, a part of her can't help but feel inexplicably drawn to the darkly mysterious and handsome man.

|OTHER|
Gracie (played by Mckenna Grace) is nothing like her mother. Being six years old, she shows distinct signs of a genius and probably even a child prodigy. She's also impressively mature and responsible despite her age, and can be a real sassy and curious little girl. She admires Angie, grateful for her mother's unconditional love and because Gracie highkey thinks that Angie looks like a Disney princess. Angie, on the other hand, is a huge momma bear and will do just about anything for Gracie.

Angie and Gracie own a pet Australian Shepherd dog named Howlser. Angie adopted him from the local rescue shelter for Gracie's fourth birthday, and he has liven up their days ever since. Howlser is a playful and loyal dog, but also very much protective.

Angie adores sweet foods, and has taken up the hobby of baking. It's also a wonderful stress reliever for her, and the various desserts she learns and whips up are divine.

Their house isn't all that special. It's only modest and a tad bit old, but the backyard is spacious and gorgeous. Angie tends to it, and has grown an exquisite flower garden.

Angie likes to doodle from time to time, mostly when she's spaced out. She's still more of a singer than an artist, but there's potential for her to become one if she wishes.

Though rare, there are late nights when she wakes up screaming and in a cold sweat from nightmares of her domestic abuse. Ezra's dastardly face continues to haunt her no matter what she's doing, and she's just so sick of it.

"Hmm... I wonder why the sky is blue and the grass is green? What if they got switched?"

"Aw, lookie, that's sooo cute! I want!"

"Treat others the way you want to be treated, as the old saying goes. But that's the thing... If someone's mean to me, I STILL don't wanna be mean to them."
