Fuck...

Where do I even begin?

Hmm... Well, okay, let's start off by saying that this show means a whole damn LOT to me. I know that probably sounds very silly and stupid, but it does. I seriously never thought I'd get so ridiculously hooked to something so simple as a show, and yet here the shit I am.

At the end of the day, though, I personally don't think it's just a show. It's kinda hard to explain and I don't wanna go all annoyingly deep and stoof, but ultimately what I'm trying to get at is that it will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I honestly don't watch shows or movies much, but with Gotham it's one of those rare ones I really love and actually stayed faithful to and the first show I ever got around to finish properly. Right at this moment I still can't believe it's over. It's such a bittersweet feeling and I find myself still excitedly waiting for the next episode, until I have to remind myself that it's sadly no more.

However, I do believe that they ended with a bang and wrapped things up perfectly. While I crave for even more and wanted to see further significant aspects tackled in the Batman universe, I think the show did justice and I'm so happy that FOX saw its potential and didn't decide to cancel it right when it was just at its peak in Season 4 and that Gotham was able to continue on unscathed.

What I love the most about it, though, is the people involved in it. Every single person who have worked on the show is nothing but ABSOLUTELY amazing! Not only did they stun me with their incredible talent, but also with their vibrant personalities. Which is, to me, the most important quality. They are all so kind and humble, and I just ADORE their friendship and chemistry with each other. The crew have done such impressive work behind the scenes, and the cast made the characters truly come to life. I wish them all nothing but the very best and for much more success in their careers!

Here's to Gotham which made me laugh, cry, happy, upset, inspired, along with a WIDE range of other emotions and thoughts through all the highs and lows. For making me look forward to something and then making me all grouchy again when an episode ends, haha. It has been one intense rollercoaster ride, and I'm so glad to have been a part of it even as only a fan. Furthermore, because of the show, I have also met and connected with several new friends throughout. They are all so awesome and fun who deserve the world and I wouldn't have bonded and fangirled/fanboyed with them if it weren't for our shared obsession over Gotham, which I'm grateful for. And I was able to create one of my fave OCs of all time, my dear dragoness Valerie 'Val' Joash!
