Chapter 25
A/N: This is going to be in Fitz's POV after the battle and Wraith being crowned king. So since this is the day that UNLOCKED comes out I'm gonna add a surprise! E N J O Y !
Fitz dragged himself to his new room. Ever since the Councillors were killed he got one of the rooms, and the rooms were humongous.
He didn't expect to see Sophie and Keefe there and nor did he expect Keefe and Sophie to kill all the sirens. But that was the cost of war. Fitz sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
Sophie.
Keefe.
Biana.
He wondered if his sister hated him. He wondered if the Black Swan hated him.
He wondered if his parents... no, they wanted to send him to Exile, they wanted him to die, and so did the Black Swan.
Flopping on the bed, he questioned how Sophie recognized it was him. To be honest, he had changed. A lot.
He walked to his mirror--which was next to a clothing thing that he used to store goblin throwing stars in--and stared into it.
He saw a boy that looked nothing like him. His new black inky eyes stared into the mirror and never left its glare so that it looked like his eyes were made of obsidian. His hair drizzled down his side and touched his shoulders. His whole face looked scruffy as if he never washed it. He did, everyday, but somehow he got it dirty, even when he slept.
Would Chelsea recognize him?
He doubted it, but she knew it was him when he was disguised as Skylar. How he missed her. He would trade anything for her. Anything, even his life. She was a special person in his life. The only person that mattered to him. And when he first met her, he fell in deep love.

(When Fitz meets Chelsea, Still in Fitz's POV because he's daydreaming)
*takes place in a forest*
"Oh s***!" Fitz cried out trying to open a bottle of youth with a spoonful of the emotion thingy that Elwin had given him. Ever since he began to find Alvar, his emotions slipped and his echoes returned.
"That's a bad word, I don't think you should use it," said a voice behind him and he turned to see a beautiful girl walking towards him. Her violet colored hair fell into soft waves behind her. Her pale skin shimmered in the sunlight as though she had put sparkles all over it. The girl's aquamarine eyes, kind expression, and adorable grin made him instantly trust her.
A/N: Please keep in mind that Chelsea changes her hair color every few couple of days so please don't say, "But I thought her hair was blue, red, and pink!" I know! But, she just changes the color, so now it is violet, ok? 😀BTW: This is sorta how she looks but just imagine her looking kinder and cuter!
Fitz chuckled and replied, "Well, at least my parents aren't around, they would ground me for life!"
Chelsea laughed and it was definitely the most lovely sound he had ever heard.
"So," Fitz asked trying to sound casual, "what are you doing here?"
Chelsea shrugged.
"Out for a walk I guess, you?"
"Searching for someone."
*over the timespan of a few weeks*
And soon they became closer and closer. Fitz knew that his parents wouldn't accept Chelsea so he hid the fact hat he had a girlfriend. That all changed when his Dad found out.
He and Chelsea were sitting in the window ledge in his room, they both were holding hands when Alden opened the door...well, you know. (go back to chapter 1 and read it again if you forgot.)

Fitz sighed and rubbed his hand over his neck. He missed his friends and Chelsea, wishing he could see them would be a dream come true. Okay, maybe he'd only like to see Chelsea, but he was a busy man.
Or maybe he was just nervous.
Well, yeah of course he was nervous. But, why? He wasn't.... afraid of his Sophie and Keefe? Was he?
No. He pushed the thought outside of his brain as fast as he could.
That couldn't be possible. NO thinking about that anymore. NO thinking about that EVER.
Was he afraid of himself?
Before he could think of something, someone knocked on the door.
" Yes?" he asked dryly, I mean this was his free time, and he barely got any.
"It's time to interrogate our prisoner."
Fitz nodded and followed him out the door and they made their way to a dimly lit room.
Before he went in, he put on a cloak, after all he wanted to scare him.
As he walked in the prisoner locked eyes and growled.
"No need for that, Alvar," Fitz muttered as he pulled his cloak up.
Alvar let out a whimper-screams and asked, "Who are you?"
Fitz laughed and replied, "I thought you would know me, Sophie and Keefe seems to recognize me."
"No."
No
And that was exactly what Fitz wanted to hear. It was time people accepted who he really was.
He was no elf. He was no Vacker. He was a siren. The general of the sirens.
And no guilt could stop him from that.
