"So does anyone have a plan?" asked Keefe.

Sophie sighed and pulled out another eyelash and to be honest it was freaking Keefe out.

It had been 2 months since the Council had started to mind control all of the citizens and--

Then they heard a BOOM and a crash echoing throughout the cave.

Keefe yelled, "AHHHHH I WANT MY MOMMY! ACTUALLY, WAIT, NO I DON'T!"

Sophie looked annoying, "Keefe! Be quiet!"

Then she ducked under the table, pulling Keefe with her, and she reached for her goblin throwing star.

A bunch of sirens came streaming in, their weapons held high as they scanned the room, lookig for any trace of living things.

Usually they all wore the same armor and clothes, but when another person entered, he didn't wear the same armor as the rest of his fellow soldiers.

In fact it looked like...

A/N: I'm too lazy to describe it *again* but here's a few pics:

Sophie gestured to the black hooded figure signaling that she was going to take on him. Keefe looked a little nervous but agreed, and that left him to kill the other sirens or well Sophie instructed injure them. 

Sophie still wasn't a big fan of killing, and in fact one of the rules in the Black Swan is to not kill anybody.

As, she held up three fingers to count down, Keefe grabbed the two swords dangling form his side.

"3." Sophie said telepathically in his head and Keefe checked his weapons.

"2."

Keefe looked around while still ducking and found the first person he was going to attack and made a plan, which he didn't know if it would work.

"1." and Keefe held his breath.

They looked into each other's eyes, " Now!"

Keefe tried to get up from his position, but accidentally banged his head on the table, making it throb, so the plan got messed up.

Keefe was able to throw a bunch of goblin throwing stars at some sirens and they went down, not dead of course, but still majorly injured.

But there was still about 10 more, so he had to use his new ability which Mommy Dearest had given him.

A/N: So, I don't really know the ability, but I think he can conjure light and darkness, cause it took a Flasher and a Shade to u know "embrace the change" and also his mommy (mother) kept on testing him to see if he was a Conjurer, so yeah!

It affected about two sirens, but the rest seemed to be fine, and to add to all that misery, his neck was still throbbing, and this time even worst.

Meanwhile, Sophie tackled The Black Hooded Figure and tried to punch him, but the figure brought his knives out and Sophie accidentally punched the sharp edges of the knives, and she stepped back in pain which made the figure to a handstand and leap back onto the ground, while pushing her to the ground.

A loud scream interrupted Sophie from punching the figure, and she saw Keefe struggling to fight the sirens, so she decided to inflict on the sirens.

She managed to inflict on the sirens but somehow couldn't inflict on The Black Cloaked Figure.

With her energy draining, Keefe went all "COWABUNGAAAA!" on the cloaked figure.

And when he did that, Sophie pried open the cloak from the figure and found a face that she never thought she would see again.
