A/N: This is in Fitz's Pov.

"Wait, what!?" Alden gasped.

Then he asked a question  that made Fitz shiver, "Are they working with the Neverseen?"

Alvar walked in, "Nah, Gethen would mostly kill them, after all they were useless."

Alden turned around in shock, anger, and mostly sadness.

"Alvar....," he murmured.

Fitz jumped in between Alden's and Alvar's staring contest.

"So, how about we continue this later, and see what going on?" Fitz questioned, hoping they would listen.

Alden nodded and Alvar sighed. Before they could glare at each other again, Sophie and Fitz made the lightleap to the Black Swan base and saw their friends struggling to fight the sirens with weapons and abilities.

Tam tried to use shadow vapor to scare off the sirens and let the black shadows seep into their bodies. Linh and Marella tried to combine their abilities and create an even more powerful element with fire circling around the water droplets spraying through the air. Dex was making something, and Sophie inflicted on a bunch of sirens at the same time. Fitz was in the middle of it all and he was absolutely confused on what he should be doing.

A voice whispered to him, "Kill the leader of the Black Swan."

Fitz didn't know who said that but obviously he wasn't going to listen.

"Kill him NOW!" and then something snapped inside of him and the last thing he was remembered was Sophie inflicting on him.

A/N : I've been rereading the 12th book of Wings of Fire, so you can se where I got the idea of mind control from. And also, don't worry! Fitz doesn't kill Mr. Forkle, I would definitely not do that!
