Sophie was laying on her bed, absolutely bored, when someone came barging into her room. At first she thought it was Keefe, but Keefe was gone and she actually kinda missed him.

"Sophie?" asked a small voice.

Sophie turned to see Biana and Mr. Forkle by the door.

"We need to talk," Mr. Forkle rasped.

Sophie, Biana, Tam, Linh, Dex, Wraith, Blur, Tiergan, Della, Alden, Grady, and Edaline all met up in the glorious Havenfield living room.

The adults all sat on one side of the room and glared daggers at Biana and Sophie while the teens sat on another side of the room. But, Tam, Linh, and Dex *noticeably* sat farther away from the 2 girls. Though Dex and Tam sat a *little* closer to Biana.

A/N: Hmmmm..... I wonder what that means!? I can't possibly begin to even GUESS? And also, let's cross our fingers and hope that Biana isn't as oblivious as Sophie, though she probably isn't! PHEW.....

Mr. Forkle took a deep breath  and said, "There is a spy in our ranks." 

All around the room people gasped and clutched their loved ones or friends as this was a horrible revelation.  

Wraith stepped up and asked, "How do you know? Where is the proof?"

Mr. Forkle shook his head, "That is for me and Miss Foster to talk about, but I will be searching your minds. To find the betrayer."

Everyone looked around nervously, as if they had great secrets to hide. Well, of course they did have secrets to hide.

"What about me?" Sophie questioned. Mr. Forkle raised his eyebrows.

"What about you?"

"Can I help at least?" she asked.

Mr. Forkle sighed and thought for a while before saying, "What if you are the betrayer?" 

Sophie stepped closer to Mr. Forkle face, "I risked my life, MY FRIENDS' LIFES, AND MY FAMILY'S LIFES TO FIGHT THE NEVERSEEN, AND YOU SAY 'ARE YOU THE BETRAYER?!'" she yelled her voice breaking in every word.

Mr. Forkle stepped back. "I am sorry, Miss Foster, but you did hide Mr. Vacker and Mr. Sencen in an unknown forest which we were unaware of and don't have a clue where it is."

Sophie gulped and everyone looked at her.

Mr. Forkle gestured to everyone around the room, "All your friends know where they are, but they won't say, so let us not discuss this."

Sophie took a deep breath trying not to Sucker Punch Mr. Forkle in the face. She took her seat next to Biana and Biana hugged her gently. 

Then Wraith asked a question that made her freeze in her seat.

"What if Keefe and Fitz were the betrayers?"

This time she lost control of herself. She walked up to Wraith and sucker punched him right on his nose. Blood poured out and he had to take a step back. Shock was plain on his face and Edaline and Grady had to restrain Sophie for swinging in for another one.  

"They would never do that." Sophie whispered coldly as she went back to her seat. 

"That's extremely true, Foster." said a voice she recognized. They all turned to see Keefe standing in the door way of Havenfield. Sophie grabbed a throwing star from her boot and everyone else grabbed weapons, as well

"Jeez, Foster, one minute your sticking up for me and Fitz and the next minute you go all weapon-y on me."

He smirked.

Sophie blushed and put away her throwing star before hugging him. Then Fitz came behind and Sophie hugged him too. At first everyone stared at Fitz in shock, but that was all disturbed when Della squealed with delight and hugged her son soooooooo tight that Sophie thought Fitz was going to explode. Chelsea who also was behind Keefe smiled and waved to Sophie and Chelsea was surprised when Sophie gave a hug to her too.

A/N: This is a picture of Chelsea's hair if you were wondering. And she changes her hair everyday! LOL xD!

Alden just stared at Fitz and when Della finally let go, Fitz walked up to his dad and asked, "May I talk to you privately?"

Alden again stared at his son in shock but nodded and the two lightleaped away to go to Everglen. Della stayed to keep an eye on her daughter. But after a few more discussions, Mr. Forkle announced the the meeting was over and he would like to check Tam and Linh's minds first. Tam looked as if he wanted to kill Mr. Forkle, but he finally agreed when Mr. Forkle promised that he wouldn't look too deep or tell his secrets.

That left Keefe and Sophie with some free time to talk about what happened.

"So basically you're telling me that Alvar was hiding in a tree and you threw a knife at the tree, and he finally came out?"

Keefe nodded.

"Are you sure? Because that sounds like the craziest thing ever."

Keefe laughed and replied, "Oh, so you don't believe me?"

Sophie smiled but then a sudden random thought echoed inside her head.

"What if it's not a spy, but a tracker or a hearing device, placed on someone."  Keefe looked at her with confused eyes. "Like if someone placed a tracker on somebody that makes them listen to any conversation." 

Keefe nodded, "But what, Foster?"

Sophie shrugged, "Did anything suspicious happen during your trip?"

Keefe bit his lip and replied " Well, um, no, but does sirens randomly appearing count?"

Sophie quickly turned her head toward him and asked, "Wait, the sirens knew where you were?"

Keefe nodded and shrugged.

"So maybe Mr. Forkle is right, there is someone helping the siren. But who?" Sophie thought out loud.

Keefe shrugged again, "OHHH AND, DID YOU KNOW FITZY GOT AN EARRING, IT LOOKS SO COOOOOOLLLLL, I WANT ONE SOOOOOOO BADLY, I THINK I'LL KEEP IT ON MY CLOTHES INSTEAD, I WILL BE SPARKLY PIN BOYYYYYYYY!!!!!!" 

Sophie sighed, but the word earring triggered  something in her brain.

"Keefe," she whispered. "the earring on Fitz is helping the sirens know what we are planning."
