Glimmer felt pain. It was a whirlwind of banging clashing and screeching. She felt warm sticky blood everywhere. She also felt the darkness, pulling her deeper and deeper away. Away. Away.... 

Glimmer let herself be pulled into a circle of memories. Joining the Neverseen. Meeting Alvar. Meeting Tam. Joining the Black Swan. So many memories but not the right one's. Not the one's she was looking for. Glimmer heard someone calling her name.

But no. Not just one person. An army of people. She heard Sophie, Tam, Alvar, and so man more people. Glimmer struggled under the weight of all the voices, calling for her, relying on her. 

Glimmer thrashed as all of the voices pulled her farther and farther away from the calm and drifting darkness and closer to the light. But the light had only hurt Glimmer. Instead she craved the shadows and the darkness, where she could be alone. But the voices didn't listen. 

Glimmers eye's opened. The light was bright and blinded her for a few seconds. She was in a cell, which could only mean one thing. The Neverseen had taken her. Glimmer sat up, wincing. She was wearing the same no sleeve black tunic and leggings but a thick bandage had been rapped around her ribs. She could feel the echoes pounding against her chest. 

Glimmer looked around her cell. It was bigger than she had expected. Besides the cot that she lay on her cell was mostly empty. Glimmer clutched her throbbing head in her hands. Her eye's were blinded by light. Glimmer fell back down onto her cot and lay there. Soon the screeching and pounding in her head began to quiet.

After a few breaths Glimmer sat back up. Instantly she notices Nelie standing right outside her cell. Glimmer glared. Nelie smiled. "Well hello." said Nelie.
