Linh felt thick binds cutting into her wrists. She shifted her position slightly trying to remember what was going on. She remembered with a jolt that she had somehow reached out to Sophie. "Linh?" asked a scratchy voice. Linh looked up and saw Tam on his side. Blood was flooding from his leg and he was extremely pale. Linh forced her self into a sitting position and looked around. Glimmer was crumpled on the ground next too Tam. A weak shadow curled around Linh's binds and tugged. The binds easily pulled free. Linh quickly untied Tam's and helped him up. Tam crouched by Glimmer and helped her into a sitting position. Her hair was knotted and tangled and her midnight blue eyes were dim and dreary. A long lash of red streaked up her cheek. Glimmer's expression changed from confused to very, very angry. Tam quickly untied her bonds and Glimmer bolted up. "Those dirty scums." she growled. "Did you expect them to go easy on you after you betrayed them." snapped Linh. Glimmer looked down. "At least you know i'm on your side now." Linh's face softened. She wanted to pinch herself for being to rude to Glimmer but..."Just don't pull an Alvar." said Linh, managing a little smile. "Alvar, probably dead by now." said Glimmer. "Did you know him?" asked Tam.

Glimmer shrugged. "I wasn't with the Neverseen for forever. I regret joining them but...I had nobody else." Tam looked up. "Were your parents difficult like ours?" asked Linh. Tam sneered. Glimmer looked down. "Who are they?" asked Linh. Glimmers bottom lip trembled but she tried to hide her face in her curtain of thick black hair. "I-I don't know." said Glimmer. 

"They erased my memory's. All I remember is waking up at around 12 or so and- and this burst of light, like a lightning bolt, struck right next to me. I remember waking up in a Neverseen hide out and-and I've been with them since." Tam shook his head. "Maybe you were a double birth and your parents tried to discard you." said Linh quietly. Glimmer shrugged. "I don't care. They didn't care about me." 

"Why choose to stay with the Neverseen?" asked Tam. "I had nobody and- they found me I- I though one of them might have a connection to what I had forgotten in the past." Tam frowned. "Why leave then?" asked Linh. Glimmers eyes narrowed. "You know what they do. I was sick of it." Linh looked away. Glimmer turned towards the wall and went silent. Linh prayed in her head that Sophie could find them.
