The 12 Short Stories Group is run by Mia from Writers Write. The goal is to write 12 short stories in a year, and to accomplish this, Mia poses a new prompt every month with a word count that you must hit exactly. It's been a fun challenge over the years, but I got busy with life and quickly forgot about it.

Cue the pandemic.

With everyone in isolation and panic on the rise, Mia saw an opportunity to help boost morale: The Keep Writing Challenge. For as long as we're in isolation, she promised to post daily flash fiction prompts with exact word counts, and it's been fun to participate amidst my school work.
