Dick

Getting out of the tower was ridiculous but it was important that I was there for my other team. They came first on my list.

Now I know that sounds horrible, but when you've been through all of this for as long as we have, it's a lot different when it comes to priorities, and I'm sure the Titans would understand that, if I had told them anything about me being a member of the Blood Alliance.

The whole being a part of a team thing, especially when it's a team that big doesn't need to be told.

We wore the masks for a reason.

And it's not like I don't hear Gar talking about how cool the Guardian is, and as much as it shouldn't, it makes my blood boil. Like, Stiles is cool and all, but what about the Dark Titan? Like obviously he's the coolest one.

But anyways, they should've called me way sooner, because I know I heard Stefan and Clary on the phone which means that they've been there at least a day, if not longer.

Jackson filled me in the best he could, but from what I could gather, the Screes are back, and their main target is Beacon Hills. Stiles was attacked by one, and now apparently Stefan's being extra angry and brooding towards everyone which I didn't think was possible.

....

I was about halfway there when suddenly my phone went off. I answered it through my car upon seeing that it was Bloom.

Why was she calling me?

"Before you ask. I'm using Bloom's phone because she miraculously got here before you, and Stefan broke mine."

Oh okay so it was Stiles, and of course Stefan broke his phone.

"Alright. Why are you calling?" I heard his deep breath over the phone before he continued.

"Just get here okay? We have a plan in progress, but we need you here in one piece, so if a Scree attacks you, run the other way. Don't try to be a hero."

"Yeah yeah I got it, but you know that if a Scree comes running at me I still have my Nightwing stuff to kill it so it's no problem."

He groans through the phone at my very obvious stubbornness.

"Can we have a conversation without you bringing up that you're a superhero?"

I responded with a no, and he once again groaned annoyed, as someone took the phone from him.

"You should just turn around and go home dick."

Wow, clever word play. It's almost as if I've never heard that one before.

I rolled my eyes before responding to the very unreasonably angry vampire.

"Wow Stefan. Nice to hear from you too. Anyways. I gotta get going. But I'll make sure to let that 'insult' sink in."

Then I hung up and put my phone in the passenger's seat.

I probably shouldn't have been talking on the phone while driving, but I honestly don't care if I'm being completely honest with you. But the option to put it through to the car probably would've been smarter.

Anyways. The sweet sweet sound of the classic rock radio station was the only thing I had to keep me company for the next half an hour, so the sound of Journey and Aerosmith was all I was going to be listening to.

...

When I arrived, Stiles, Jackson, and Bloom we're waiting impatiently on the porch, whilst I'm guessing that Stefan and Clary we're inside fighting about something that probably didn't matter.

"Wow. What a welcome party!" I exclaimed sarcastically as I grabbed my bag from the back and exited the car. Once they had decided through their death glares that I was actually me, Stiles's grimace turned into a wide smile as he threw himself at me.

He successfully knocked me to the ground and then he got up victoriously.

"That should be payment enough for not visiting in the past five years you ass." He complained as he reached out a hand to pull me up from the ground, which I took.

He knew the reason I hadn't been back was that I couldn't. Even though we thought we had defeated the Scree long ago, we still thought it'd be safer not to have too many of us in one place at one time, and since Jackson and Stiles were here, we decided on the three's a crowd method.

"So, what's the plan. And please tell me that Stefan didn't make the plan. His always end up with me getting a literal arrow in the back."

You could hear an audible " I heard that!" come from the house and it made all of us laugh. Pretty sure Clary was laughing in there too.

Stiles motioned for me to follow him and the others inside, and when I did, I saw the absolute disaster at hand.

There were strings, pictures, and knives stabbing thing into the walls (come on Clary really?). If you didn't know the system, you wouldn't be able to figure out what the actual hell was going on in this room right now.

"Did I just walk into an active tornado zone, or is this actually what you guys call a plan in progress?" Everyone looked to Stiles at that point who raised his hands in surrender.

"It works. This way of thinking works, and it gives my Adhd brain something to focus all of it's energy on."

Everyone in the room rolled their eyes at him, and when he looked confused, Clary spoke up.

"You don't actually have Adhd man. That was just part of your cover story."

His mouth turned into an oh shape before he smacked himself lightly on the side of the head.

"Nothing up here sometimes, but still, I honestly probably do, just never properly diagnosed."

We decided to just leave that alone, and instead I went to the first paper I saw and started reading.

Rabid beast causes mass headache throughout beacon county, hundreds affected, with more in counting

I looked up at them with an eyebrow raised.

"Why is this in the maybe a Scree pile. Mass headaches? That's them trying to get in people's heads." I grabbed it and threw it into the definitely Scree pile.

"Alright, now. Let's take these Scree down once and for all. What's the plan."
