as the Sun rose early in the morning, She stared out the window as the birds started to sing. the Wolf girl was curled up in a blanket, sitting on her bed. Her ears twitched at the sound of her bedroom door opening. 

"Goodmorning, Kazae!" her father said, as he walked in. He sat on the bed Next to her, making the bed sink a bit. He was already dressed in his half armored attire. He smiled, and softly pet Kazae.

"morning, Papa." Kazae's tail subtly wagged,

"How long have you been awake, Sweetheart? you still look tired.."

"I didn't sleep well.." She tightened her grip on the blanket, Her ears lowered a little bit.

"What Kept you up?" her Father tilted his Head.

"Old stories of the KohLoh and the TenQoi.. after the stories you told the other kids, i got curious. is it true we can get sick from them?" 

her Father remained Quiet for a moment. "Sadly, yes.. they have magic that can make us very sick if we get too close.. you have to be careful around them, Kazae.."

" i know, Papa." She leaned against him.

"are you ready for today?-" He asked, petting her again.

"I will be soon-" She smiled.

"Alright, after you get dressed your Mom wants to see you-" He stood, the bed bounced back into place.

"Okay!" Kazae bounced off the bed herself, she went to her wardrobe as her father left the room. She had the blanket along with her. She shuffled through her wardrobe until she pulled out an outfit. 

She changed out of her pajamas and into the outfit, it consisted of a Reddish brown Tunic with dark gray thick leggings. she slipped on a pair of socks and put on her boots. She plopped the blanket on the bed and Walked out of her room and Down a hall. Her home was on the Larger side, it seemed grand compared to other houses. 

Her mother Smiled at her as Kazae walked down the small flight of stairs.

"Goodmorning, Hunny bun!" Her Mother hugged her. Kazae Smiled and hugged her back.

"morning Momma-" Kazae's tail wagged.

"I made breakfast if you want it, i know you usually go without, but today is a new day, is it not?" Her mother was more brighter and cheerful then she usually was. 

Today, Kazae Turns Ten Years old. Which means she now Qualifies for the Trials. This is something that Kept Kazae up all night..

" No thank you, Momma.. i'm just gonna go see whats happening around the Village.." Kazae played a smile and walked to the side door from the kitchen. she Took a Scarf off a coat hanger.

"Alright, but come back before lunch, okay??"

"Okay, Momma." With that, Kazae went out the door, putting on the scarf.

The snow crunched under Kazae's Feet. she walked to the village center, where a hot spring Fountain was. She was Greeted by people and Congratulated for now being of age to test the Trials. 

the more people mentioned it, the more Pressure Kazae felt to do it.

Kazae wasnt looking forward to it like other kids do. She was Scooped up By older boy, He smiled and laughed. "There's my Little Sister!" He looked almost like their father, but smaller.

Her Brother hugged her tight.

"Krin, you're hurting me-" She whimpered.

"OhP- sorry-" He let her down and let go. he Pet her.

Krin smiled at his little sister. he picked her back up and put her on his shoulders.  He started running around he village, other kiddos joining in. 

Kazae had the brightest smile, she held onto Krin tight and wagged her tail uncontrollably as he raced around with the other kids.
