I know what you are thinking, I am out of my mind. But I am a serious as I can be. You feeling lost? Let's start from the beginning, then, shall we?

I have always been told that I was blessed. When I was alone, an abandoned child, on the street, random people would tell me that I had a certain aura that kept the bad stuff away. When I was in foster care, people were tripping over each other to have my atmosphere in there house, even temporarily. Then, the goat man came. He told me I was special; that I had the strongest "scent" that he had ever smelled, even stronger than the children of the "big three". After a few questions that he was hesitant to answer, we became close friends and started chatting. After a few minutes, a panicked expression came to his face and he whispered a single word:
"Run"
So I did. I ran as fast as my legs would carry me. Suddenly a pulling feeling came to my gut, an instinct that told me where to go. Not knowing what to do, I followed my gut's instructions. They eventually led me to a small farm house, with strawberry fields (forever🎶). I still felt the pulling feeling in my gut, telling me to go towards the fields. I decided to start going towards the farm house instead, and I realized that this house was much taller than it appeared from far away. When I got about half way to the house I heard a noise that sounded like a lion's growl, a snake's hiss, and a goat's bleat combined. I was able to identify the beast that was chasing me immediately as the Chimera. I began to run faster. When got to the house, I turned to see the Chimera... bouncing off an invisible wall? I shrugged and knocked on the door. A man in a wheelchair introduced himself as Chiron, the trainer of Greek heroes. At first I was shocked then I asked, "Then shouldn't you have a horse as your lower body?" He chuckled and replied, "I am in the wheelchair for first introductions, but yes Nemesis, I will have a horse body when you see me again."

Oh, and my name is Nemesis. No last name, cuz I never knew my parents, and no one had taken me in permanently. So I'm just Nemesis.

Later that day, I was assigned to the Hermes Cabin, as all new campers were. The day was pretty uneventful, that is, until campfire. We got to campfire and had s'mores, sang songs, the usual bit. Then, as everyone started to leave, something wonderful happened. This bright light started to shine above my head, causing everyone to turn and look. I heard people mumbling "what does that mean" and "what cabin will she go in". I looked up to see nothing other than words "Pride of the Gods" written above my head in white lettering. Chiron then bowed and said, "All hail Nemesis, Pride of the Gods." Once he stood up, he explained about a prophecy that he had gotten a few years back that prophesies the arrival of a demigod who would be able to please every one of the gods, both in personality and in looks. They would be claimed as the pride of the gods. After this explanation, Chiron proceeded to shout to the sky, "Would the sole parent of Nemesis please reveal who they are?" The symbol of Nemesis, the goddess, appeared over my head. That explains my name then, I thought. I began to walk over to my cabin mates when suddenly the councilors of each cabin came and tried to take me to their cabin! Chiron came and asked everyone why they wanted me in their cabin. Everyone's answer was what I had heard many times before: my Aura. It was right then and there that he decided I would be staying in the Big House (which I would learn is the farm house later on) until we got this matter sorted out. I was in the guest room if the Big House for over three months before Chiron made his decision. It was a lovely afternoon when he called the meeting to announce which cabin I would be staying in. "Nemesis shall now be staying in the" He was interrupted mid sentence by the sound of a trumpet fanfare.
