Me, my mom, and my sister, were all talking at the table after dinner. (Just a few minutes ago)

I said something, then suddenly clapped my hands over my ears because I heard this horrendous high-pitched shrieking.

My mom and my sister both looked at me like I was fucking insane. And I said, "Didn't you hear that?! That high-pitched screeching! It's gone now..."

And Mom said I looked like I was crazy, because I was talking, and then suddenly covered my ears.

So yeah.
