Teachers should not point out which students are

-the smartest
-the most trustworthy
-the bright kid
-etc.

Because guess who that hurts? Literally everyone else in the fucking classroom

We had a sub in social studies today and he was reading the thing and he was like "Is Shelby (last name) here? It says to ask her if I need anything because she is the smartest and most trustworthy"

I could literally feel my heart sink because my day had improved up to that point

When I told my mom she said that the sub was probably ad-libbing like bitch no he wasn't

But like???? That just made me look down at the assignment and try not to cry

I wanted to go out in the hallway and talk to my friends to calm down because I got that gross overwhelming feeling in my face

God I'm getting it now just thinking about it

But that just opened a sea of "There are always people better than you, you're not good enough, you're not special, everyone is smarter than you, everyone is more talented than you" and stuff which I haven't gotten that stupid feeling in a while??????

So idk I'm just pissed about that

Also I almost started a fight with a girl in Spanish today because she was telling her friends how dumb I was for accidentally raising my hand to answer a blind woman's question

It's instinct at this point to raise my hand as soon as I know the answer to a question at least I can answer questions you dumb hockey puck

And at least my nose isn't the size of my boob like lmao bye
