So, maybe it's just because it's 4 in the morning and I've had about two hours of sleep tonight so I'm slightly insane

Or maybe these actually matter

But while watching Supernatural (actually,,, these things were mostly last night during my all-nighter so)

I noticed a couple little/maybe not-so-little things

1)

The way they look on camera

There's no attempt to make them look perfect (even tho they do uvu)

You can see their pores and stuff, which, tbh, is rare in the media

And the contrast is high and the brightness is low,,, and it's just so gritty and I think that says a lot about the series by itself,,, also it might get higher contrast in dark moments,,,, or I'm going crazy who knows

2)

Dean holds the kid (is it Lucas?? I think it's Lucas) back instead of rushing into it

idk why but so far he seems like a person that would rush into stuff

But he stays to keep Lucas safe,,, I think it's because Lucas reminded him of himself so much,,, Lucas even kinda looks like young Dean uvu

But idk

And then Sam just bloop even though he's still new to the demon-hunting thing?? He goes in anyway, his first thought being to save her from drowning and dying and stuff and idk I think that says a lot about both of them,,,

3)

This little fear

idk

I just love it (and his facial expressions throughout the episodes were flawless)

And with Free!

1) Rei kept going?? And he did all he could to improve and I think that's beautiful uvu

Even though he didn't move and sank like a rock he still kept trying to swim and idk

2)

Haru's fine with making the atmosphere awkwardly silent as long as Makoto doesn't share anything he doesn't want to?? Like omg son you act so aloof but you're actually v v precious and nice

And he even cuts Makoto off, saying "Makoto, that's enough" and idk he just doesn't want Makoto to be too shary and reveal his insecurities and he doesn't want Makoto to be uncomfortable and I just... uvu

I ship it ahahah
