~Seventeenth Day Of Work~
This was by far the worst day.
Oh boy, sit down because do I have a story for you.
They again scheduled us to be without leadership (Which I learned that they do that quite often. Go figure) so I grabbed the keys and opened the store for the day. Our TL left us a note on jobs that we had and things we couldn't do and shouldn't do. Sounds simple enough right? Well, I read everyone else's jobs so when I saw them around the store, I would know if they were doing what they were supposed to or not. The only thing that happened in the morning was that one of the boys threw a ball near the ceramic mugs (And, you know, they can break.) and I told him to not do that so that nothing breaks (Ironically, this is his second year and he's acting like this. I question why he go hired in the first place. Because I heard that he went to counseling because he played Marco-Polo with someone else. This happened on a day that I wasn't there so I just have to trust the person that told me this) So I went and did my stuff and everything was good in the morning. And then time for breaks came. Everyone took their break and everything just fell apart after that. Two of the boys that I was working with today started messing around with me and trying to scare me. And every time I would come out of the stockroom, one of them (The one who didn't throw the ball at the mugs) would call my name and I would come over there and he would just say hi or other stupid stuff like that. The other kid would scare me too and he told me that the kid who wasn't even doing anything and was actually doing what he was supposed to doing was a fat ass who was just sitting at the register doing nothing when his job involved him being behind the register and doing stuff.
I almost punched him because you don't just call someone a fat ass.
There are some more things that they did but I really just want to forget this day because it honesty sucked. Also, when my TL came in, I wasn't completely done with my jobs and she got pissed because I had the keys and I was in the back. She told me that the keys were supposed to stay in the front and I told her that I really didn't trust the two boys up there. And she said that it didn't really matter. I realized too late that I could've given them to the one boy that I trust too late. So I had to spend some time taking money out of the register and I had to go to the stockroom with the boy that I trust so that we could tell our TL everything that happened today. We were in there for 15-20 minutes and when we were done talking, she said that there was no way to know at the moment if anyone of us were going to get written up (Turns out, none of us completed our jobs. I don't blame the one boy that didn't fuck with me today for not getting his jobs done. First of all, there weren't any order for him to check in and the stuff that she told him to restock didn't need it. What kept him busy all day was the fact that it was raining and people were buying ponchos like crazy) so we would find out the next day or the day that we come back. Well, I work tomorrow so I find out tomorrow. The one boy finds out on Friday because that's when he works again. And I honestly think that the other two boys are getting written up because of all the things that they did today.
First the whole thing with the vacation and now this? Cut me some slack life!
Adios!
~Sky~
