Nandini was lost in her thoughts when Madhyam's voice brought her back into the real world.

"MANIK! " Nandini finally replied softly, with a hint of nervousness in her voice.

Whereas hearing her answer a forced smile forms on his good looking face and he asks through gritted teeths, "Manik ? You mean that Manik Malhotra, senior from our college ?"

Nandini slowly nods her tiny head, while continuously praying to her Aiyappa in her mind for her baby and her safety and to send Manik home as quickly as possible.

Nandini was unsure how to respond to his this question again without making him mad... She might make things worse and more dangerous for herself if she confirms what he asked her.

"Then why didn't you knock on the front door and wait for me to get it?why did You come in through the back door instead." Nandini asked him trying to stall time for herself.

"areee!! It's because I wanted to surprise you!" he said and again raises his arms higher asking for a hug and laugh out loud, which creeped the hell out of Nandini and send chills down her spine, " now how much longer are you going to make me wait for a hug Angel ... Haa?"

"Madhyam!! " Nandini says firmly, but inside she was panicking and freaking out.

"Yesss, Angell?"he asked in a sing song way.

"you have already met me right... So I think it's time for you to leave ."

Madhyam's arms drop to his side and he pouts like a kid and whines, "But I just got here and you are telling me to leave already."

Then within a second he perks up and says dreamily lost in his own world" while I'm here we should get married and live together just like we always wanted and We can make up for our lost time! Yes Angel we should get married... I know you were angry with me for leaving you alone for such a long time right that's why you married that Malhotra... " he spat out Manik's name with hatred in his voice and again continued in his sweet voice while looking at Nandini," but now I am back so you don't have to continue to live with him any more, leave him and come with me Angel. "

Before she could say anything, they were interrupted by a sudden noise which made Nandini jump in fright as well as surprise... It was her phone ringing from the table in the living room.
